Cottages of Live Oak, One of St. Simons Best communities is conveniently located off Demere Road, just before Beach Drive. Only a few minutes walk to the Beach or the Village Area make this cottage one of the best locations on the island. Private pool and Hot tub plus great location!!

Kahula's Cottage offers a unique Beach Bungalow style with pine floors, open and spacious rooms, and three (yes, three) porches. Enough porches and patios(5 total) so everyone can find their favorite spot to escape and relax while staying here.

The living area has plenty of seating and a very comfortable slipcovered sofa and loveseat (with full size hide a bed) and chair. A fireplace anchors the light filled room and a beautiful painting by Coastal Artist is hanging over the fireplace. Livingroom opens up to the screened in porch at the far end of the room. The screen porch and Bed Swing will become your favorite spot to relax while staying at Kahlua's Cottage. The dining room table is an antique farm table and seats six to eight. The wall color in the dining room and kitchen reminds you of the color of the Mediterranean or the Caribbean. All the windows in the dining room view the private pool and hot tub. The fully appointed kitchen boast stainless steel appliances, New gas stove, Refrigerator and unique open viewed glass cabinets above the kitchen peninsula area. There is patio off the screen porch that has a gas grill (New in 2020) and a charcoal grill plus a table and 4 chairs.

The master bedroom is on the main level and has a queen-size mattress and boxsprings. dresser and vanity table plus smart tv. The other two bedrooms are upstairs as well as the second full bath and the laundry area and sundeck. One of the upstairs bedrooms has twin beds and the other has a new (2023) queen size bed . One of the upstairs bedrooms has a small tv. There is a full size hide a bed in the loveseat. The upstairs sundeck has chairs and side tables. It is the perfect spot to enjoy the warm sunny winter days or watch the stars in the summer.

The front porch has two rockers and a porch swing and beckons you with a wonderful Blue front door. The gunite pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake for this very well appointed and relaxing cottage. Park your car when you arrive and walk to the village or beach. Or rent bikes or carts for the best rides on the island. Enjoy!

Great beach cottage with plenty of room for our party of 6 (2 parents and 4 teenage kids). It was exactly as it appeared in the listing. The kitchen is well appointed for any cooking and 3 bathrooms made getting ready easy. We enjoyed all three of the porches and the pool area. Also, it's always nice when you don't have to carry the house key with you and worry about losing it. The location is more private than it first appears and is convenient to all areas on the island.

Beautiful property with a very homey feel. Owners covered every need including helpful suggestions for shopping and directions to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and linens and towels were included. We loved the pool and the house was very comfortable. A pet friendly house is very important to us as well. Owners of this property are very thoughtful!

We loved our stay at Kahlua’s Cottage! It was perfect for our family of four, with plenty of room for eating, sleeping, playing, and hanging out. We really enjoyed the pool/hot-tub and the location convenient to both town and the beach. Communication was excellent throughout the process. 100% would recommend!

Everything you need is here. Pool and hot tub are great and just the right size. Plenty of room….We had 2 adults and 4 teenagers and it didn’t feel crowded. Great screened in porch and loved the upper floor porch for sitting at night. Easy drive to the beach and village.

Kalhua’s Cottage is the perfect location to be close to everything - the beach, the village, shopping - but still feels like you are away from it all. Sweet enclave of homes that has a family feel. The cottage itself is well stocked and homey. The pool area is nice with a large hot tub. Our favorite was probably the screened in porch with the swinging bed. Even after two weeks, we were wishing for a longer stay.

We stayed here as a family getaway and absolute loved it. The location, house, pool, and how close it was to everything was perfect. We rented a golfcart, but also walked a few times as well. This is a pet and child friendly location, and we would definitely go back

A wonderful time was had by all at our special birthday celebration. This house was a perfect size for our group with many seating areas. Dining and shopping at the pier was about a 10 minute walk. The pool and hot tub were just right. Such a cute house!

This house is fantastic. Communication with the owners before was excellent. We knew exactly what to do when we got to the house. The house was clean and beautiful. Kahluah Cottage met all our needs, and we had an enjoyable stay. The weather was a little cold to use the pool, but we liked sitting by it on sunny days. It was a friendly and safe neighborhood. We had a great week at Kahluas Cottage! The home had everything - space, location, amenities, extras, comfort and dog-friendly! We spent time walking the beach, exploring the pier and town center, relaxing at the cottage, sitting by the pool and lounging in the hot tub. Very enjoyable and relaxing - highly recommend!

Well maintained and clean property with a nice pool & hottub. Located within a small community of homes. Our visit was in November so the hottub was great with cooler temperatures. The house is about a 10 minute walk to the beach. Very nice part of St Simons beach for walking. An added bonus is the house is pet-friendly. Enjoyed our stay!

The property is beautiful! Clean, comfortable, well decorated, and the pool and hot tub were just what we were looking for to relax. The restaurants are within walking distance, but it was even more fun once we rented a golf cart which made it easy access to the beach as well. Highly recommend!

Everything about this home was just right. It was so comfortable, had everything we needed, and was an absolute perfect location! Our family of 6 had plenty of room, and we all truly loved coming back "home", whether it was to grill and chill at the pool or to get cozy after a long day out. Kahlua’s cottage was the perfect size and space for our family-two kids, parents, and grandparents. With the pool, porches, and living spaces, there was enough room to spread out or be together. The cottage is decorated beautifully and was very clean! We felt right at home the minute we walked in. The location is a bonus, as well, because it’s close to beaches (at low or middle tide-are covered in water at high tide), the lighthouse, pier, shopping, restaurants, and most importantly, to Moo Cow, my kids new favorite ice cream place! Would definitely recommend. I actually already have!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was close (walking distance) to downtown and the beach! Owners were great about providing all info needed for the home as well as places/things/rentals around the island! Home was incredibly clean and was so spacious for our family! All porches were well used, loved them! Home was also well stocked with all the little things that make ones stay a little more comfortable (portable fans, extra pillows, sheets/blankets, wagon for beach)! Our family really appreciated these small attentions to detail! Can’t wait to get back!

We have been staying at Kahlua’s Cottage for the past 10 years. The property is continually updated and provides everything you need for a relaxing vacation. It’s central location allows you to walk to the village, the beach and restaurants and leave your car in the driveway. The owner is responsive and so accommodating.

Our first time at St. Simons and really enjoyed staying at Kaluha Cottage. The location was perfect- walked and golf carted to the beaches and village. It was low season so it was nice and quiet and we were blessed with good weather. The hours is very cute and kitchen well-stocked. We also really enjoyed the hot tub. The beach is very dog friendly this time of year and we loved having our dog with us. We had a wonderful time and would like to return. Owner directions to the beaches were very helpful! Don’t miss The Half She’ll for dinner. It was great!

Took my grown sons, girlfriend & our dog for a short stay and had a wonderful time! Stopped at Anchored Shrimp in Brunswick on the way there to get shrimp and crab legs (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) for a seafood boil while there at the cottage. Unbelievably delicious - both were EXCELLENT! We ate out at The Half Shell, ECHO, Barbara Jeans, Moo Cow Ice Cream, and coffee at Wake Up Coffee Company. (The Half Shell and Barbara Jeans have outdoor seating for dogs.) All fantastic! The house was perfect! Comfy beds, well stocked home, loved reading on the porch swing, plenty of seating in the living room, excellent wifi, enjoyed playing games (well stocked), took the supplied wagon to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need - and a great oven/gas stove to cook on! Everything was in close proximity to the house. We walked to the beach & to town. Will definitely be back!!!
