Great place for making memories with family and enjoying the peaceful lake view. House is spacious and well-equipped. Good for fishing off the dock. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay only thing i would suggest is a new grill and lights on the dock. The house has plenty of room we always enjoy coming down that way.
4.0
** The Good: As a family, we had a nice time. There was plenty of room for six adults and two toddlers. The water view was pretty, and launching our kayaks was easy. Despite some rain, the covered patio was nice to sit under. The lake is a lovely.
** The Bad: The house looks outdated. The only renovations I noticed were flooring and perhaps the granite countertop. Upon arrival, the lawn was overgrown. The owner sent someone to cut the grass. Inside, the cleaning was poor. he resent someone to reclean. The kitchen counter and refrigerator's dispenser were dirty. Two living room chairs and some bedroom blinds were broken. Extra blankets and pillows were thrown on closet floors. The master bath baseboard was filthy. The outdoor tables were dirty and sticky. The dock was a mess with a disgusting countertop, possibly from bait or fish, and chairs in the water.
** The Ugly: Safety issues and the owner's treatment were concerning. The front sidewalk had an uneven crack due to a small sinkhole, causing my wife to trip. We had to clean the dock ourselves, finding fish hooks on the floor, which our daughter-in-law stepped on, luckily wearing sandals. The gas grill was so greasy it caught fire when I lit it. There was no fire extinguisher. When we informed the owner, he and his wife yelled at us, calling us "complainers" and lunatics.

Overall our stay from Friday-Monday was great! The house definitely seems dated and the beds werent super comfortable. But it was made up for in comfortable space, huge dock and privacy. Just a heads up that there is a walmart but its about 45 min away and the closest grocery store is IGA about 25 min away so make sure you shop before!! A grocery trip can cost you 1.5 just driving. We had an issue when we first got there with cleanliness but the cleaner and owner responded and handled the issue very quickly! Overall it was spacious and perfect for a larger family. Just wish the beds were a little more comfy :)!

We nine ladies enjoyed this spacious home. Some kitchen concerns with stuck cabinet and missing tools we wish we had. One upstairs bed was hard as a brick but other beds were fine. ( Everyone has different preferences.) we were disappointed that listing mentioned tv and sound system on dock but tv missing and sound system couldn’t get to work. Perhaps it will be all fixed for the summer season. Overall nice property and good value for a relaxing stay on the lake if you don’t care about nearby restaurants/attractions.

The pictures do not do this property justice, and not in a good way.
The house was filthy and not taken care of upon arrival. Ceiling fans and return air vents covered in dust and disgusting. The owner sends a lengthy packet of information of dos and donts for guests but clearly doesn’t follow it themselves— smelt like a wet dog upon arrival. Sit on the couch and get white short dog hair all over you. Bed spreads smelt like dog. But you better not bring your pets! Rugs weren’t shaken out or clean. Shower had hair all in it and needed recleaning along with a shower head that leaked and sprayed the dry wall behind it. Let’s not forget the checkout procedure of stripping the bed linens but leave the comforter folded on the bed, meaning they don’t ever get washed or clean. Bed didn’t even have a mattress protector and the ones that did were stained. The yard and sidewalk/porch areas needed tending to. Even called the housekeeper and yard persons number on the fridge and they arrived but had a broker blower and “swept” off the sidewalk for us. The cleaning and yard staff clearly aren’t maintaining like they need to— not that we expected a ritz Carlton but it could’ve used a deep clean and owners who abide by the rules they put out. Dissatisfied and disappointed in the price paid and the overall cleanliness of the property.
The neighborhood and private boat ramp were nice. Went down the lake to the Oconee Springs campground and marina for the day and truly enjoyed it.

we have stayed here 5 times and it is always great. The new upgrades was a great addition to the house. Landscape out back a waters view is awsome.

Overall, it’s a pretty nice house, but it easily could be an awesome house if just a few things are addressed. Was not the cleanest house and a few items listed in the listing didn’t really work. Also, the cell service and internet at this property are pretty spotty at best.

This is the second year that we were able to stay at this location. Each of us in our little group really enjoys everything. We are always saddened on the last day because we would really love to be able to stay longer.

In bad shape. many repairs need to be made. Face cloths look like they were never washed. TVs in house did not work. pots and pans should be replaced. Radio and TV at boat house did not work. Boat house had not been cleaned in months. Infested with spiders. I would NEVER recomend this property to anyone. VRBO needs to inspect this property. Very disappoint.

Nice weekend getaway to relax by the lake
Nice weekend getaway with our young adult kids (ages 9-14). Plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the backyard, lake view and dock for our small boat. Wi-Fi is very slow. Overall we had a great time!

Great for big family
Rented as a weekend getaway with our high school, college, and young adult kids (ages 17-24). Plenty of room, enjoyed the backyard and lake view/dock immensely - just gorgeous. Ping pong table was also a hit. Wi-Fi is not the fastest so plan for that if you’re planning to work/study while there. We had an awesome time!

Beautiful home big enough for the whole family
The home is very nice, and plenty big enough. My only gripes are fairly minor. The first one being that the internet/wifi is awful, which is a problem if you're trying to take your work with you on the trip. The second one being that 2 trash bags for 10 people over 4 days is not enough. I am all about keeping any rental I stay in clean and tidy, but I do expect that the supplies are provided. One towel is provided per guest staying, which was fine for us, but just something to be aware of when booking, know to bring your own if you need more. Overall the house was clean, well maintained, comfortable, and and a reasonable value for the price.
If you intend on using the fire pit, be prepared to bring your own wood as there isn't any provided, which is different from other places I've booked.

Parents anniversary
The property reads no events however Mr King allowed me to have a few family members come over. They got a little loud so the neighbors complained. The house is wonderful we had a great time. We took our boat, the launch was right down the street. Great set up, I can't wait to go again. The worst part was no phone reception but the house have Wi-Fi so that helped some.

Great Place for Family Vacation
The house was the perfect size for my big family. Plenty of space for everyone. Pros: various bed softness for everyone to pick their preferred firm to soft mattress. Plenty of rooms/ game room, living room, boat house for everyone to spread out. A good size kitchen with two seating areas to dine. A few cons: when typing in the address given you end up at a random intersection. We figured out we needed to put spacing between the two words before Road to get to the right house. There was an extra digit at the beginning of the key pad entry to obtain the key to the house. That took some time to figure out. The board on the boat dock where the stairs to get in and put of the water is becoming lose.

Kelley Family Trip
We were there to go to the Memorial Service for our Aunt in Sparta, Ga. We had a wonderful time at the house and were able to share family memories. We brought food and ate in instead of going out. Our group was 2 brothers, 1 sister and spouses. The only problem we experienced was the master bathroom did not have a shower which meant 4 of us had to share the 1 shower downstairs. My intention in renting a house so large was for each couple to have a separate bedroom and bathroom. All in all the house and yard with all the water features was beautiful and we enjoyed it greatly.

The stay was nice. The WiFi didn’t work so my niece had to leave early so she could complete her school work. Could use a few updates. But overall we enjoyed our stay

Moms 60th BDay weekend
The House is amazing, very spacious and accomodating, the property is Beautiful and my mom and family enjoyed it very much!! There wasn't a much I can say bad about anything except for the lake level being kinda low, but it's nothing that the property owners could do about that. So everything was great!!! We will be returning in the future.

Nice getaway
This property was very nice, needs a little upkeep ( some chairs were not very sturdy, dock has some boards coming up) but overall very nice. Only reason I am giving 4 stars is that the pass code for the lockbox for the key was wrong( they gave us a 5 digit code but it only needed 4) and the boat ramp gate was completely wrong and had to get the correct one.

The Family Home
It was ok we didn't catch but 3 fish in 3 days of fishing. The place itself is nice. There were a lot of spiderwebs on the outside of the house and at the dock. People have there own style of decorating but the house is to beautiful not to have a more modern decor. Televisions should be in every bedroom. Wish it had more bathroom also. The beds squeaked really bad over all l would stay again it was a great get away and met one of the neighbors he was very nice.

Great stay.
My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. The house was well clean. Had everything you needed for cooking. The dock was super nice having a radio because we love to just relax outside. Only down fall was the moss in the water around the dock so the kids couldn’t really swim but eventually they got in. Nothing really you can do about that though. Definitely recommend staying here.

Great view
I love the house the only thing I would suggest is make sure you bring everything you need because it’s a little far from town...
