Our family planned a summer vacation to hike the Smokey mountains and celebrate July birthdays together. This home provided our grandchildren ample space with numerous hours of activities. We are a family of 14, which includes 6 adults and 8 children ranging in ages from 17 to 8. We had a blast and would highly recommend this home to anyone with a large family wanting to experience the Smokey Mountains.

The pictures do not do this property justice. There was plenty of room for our family of 11 and my 85 year old parents loved the detached cabin. Would recommend

Our family of 16 thoroughly enjoyed staying at this rental. There was plenty of room for everyone. The cabin was very clean and extremely well stocked. This rental had plenty of entertainment amenities for children and adults. We loved sitting on the decks and porches in the mornings and evenings. The children enjoyed the playground and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit.
We had one minor issue with the AC and the owners corrected this immediately. The owners were very responsive with any questions we had.
We had a fantastic time here!

We treated our whole family to a week at Mountain Estate Views, and had a great time staying there. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking and serving needs. Plenty of room to spread out when needed, and great spaces to gather for family activities. The view from the deck was awesome. Communication with the owner was always very quick. We LOVED it there!!!

This was a wonderful stay. By family visits the area a few times a year. This time we had a group of 15 with us. This cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our large group and then some. The host was nothing short of amazing to work with and even shipped us home a stuffed animal my son forgot in the cabin! We will definitely be revisiting.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin in Wears Valley. The host was very accommodating and communicative. She went above and beyond for us.
This place is great for a large group. We loved that there are two huge dining tables on the same floor and our large family of 12 could all eat at the same table.
The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook good meals. There's a drip coffee maker and a Keurig also, tons of pots and pans, even a slow cooker.
The views are simply gorgeous. There are other cabins around, but not in close proximity, so nothing is blocking your view of the mountains. We saw some beautiful sunsets during our trip.
Lots and lots of room for spreading out. Plenty of seating both inside and outside on the many decks.
The kids loved the playground area. That's a nice touch for families with younger kids.
The small cabin next door is great for anyone wanting privacy, or to stay away from the larger group.
The kids LOVED the bunk beds, pool table, game console, and checkers board downstairs.
The hot tub was nice and clean.
The beds were comfortable. Each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom AND its own television, which made everyone happy.
We hope to stay again one day soon. Thank you for hosting us.

Great Location Wonderful view of Wears Valley, quiet neighborhood, good roads easy access. Plenty of parking space for 5 SUVs. Loved sitting on porch drinking coffee and watching the Valley below. Well epuipped. Older cabin but clean also loved the hot tub and the beautiful gas fireplace. 1.5 miles from Wears Valley and 9 miles from the center of Pigeon Forge.

The cabin was perfect for six adults and four children 5 and under. The kids really enjoyed the movie room in the smaller cabin. We have rented places all over the US and can honestly say the Kitchen at the cabin was the best equipped that we have ever seen! It had a fantastic view even with a little rain during our stay. I highly recommend this cabin and will look forward do visiting again.

This was a great location for our family vacation. There was plenty to entertain the kiddos and we were located conveniently to Dollywood, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The prepared kitchen and grill area were perfect for family dinners. We will be back!

We had ten adults and 4 kids under 8 here to celebrate my moms 80th birthday. We had plenty of space and never felt on top of each other. Owners responded to texts quickly which I appreciated. Totally recommend!

This visit was a Christmas gift for my two daughters, their husbands, and my three teenage grandchildren aged 13, 14, and 17. None of us had been to the Great Smokey Mountains before this and we were all excited! We were not let down by the wonderful cabin and small cabin where my husband and I stayed. We all enjoyed the cabin because it allowed us to be away from the hustle and bustle of all the fun things to do while still being close to everything! It has what we needed and the owners were very accommodating while booking! We’d go back in a heartbeat!!!! We loved the whole experience.

We were a three generation family of ten adults and nine children. We enjoyed the spacious dining areas, fully stocked kitchen with ample cabinet space, game room, theater space (bring your favorite and children’s DVD movies), and grandma & papa really enjoyed the quiet of the extra cabin! We had a campfire and spent relaxing social time on the porches overlooking a beautiful valley and mountains beyond; the flat top grill was a fabulous surprise! The property is in excellent proximity to adventures in the National Park and surrounding communities. Owner is very responsive to communication for any questions. It made a perfect vacation home for our family! We would choose it again!

The view of the mountains was great, like everyone says. The cabin was roomy and comfortable. We had 15 people staying there and it never felt cramped. An easy 5 stars!

Layout for family was great. The only disappointment was the child's play area. We had two under the age of 4. The pictures made it look bigger, and the slope of the property around was a concern. When renting a mountain house, that should be expected.
The dining room table was #1 reason we chose this property. Excellent size to accommodate the whole crew.
There was a couple of issues that came up. The owner responded quickly.

This was the best, cleanest cabin we’ve ever rented! We will definitely be staying again for a large family trip! Thank you so much!!

We never tired of the mountain views. Loved how close we were to the Smokey Mtn National Park. Kitchen stocked with plenty of everything for a few relaxing meals “at home”. Would not recommend counting on internet service for anything while at the cabin. No problems with internet anywhere else in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. Other than the WIFI, we would def stay here again. Loved It!!!!

This was now my third time staying at the Mountain Estate. I will let you know, I can be a bit critical when choosing vacation rentals. The fact that I continue to return to this cabin (and am already planning on coming back next year) says something. My family, friends and I keep coming back because it is a fantastic cabin for us. It is so spacious. This trip we had 11 adults staying and we never once felt like we were on top of each other. I have rented many different properties in various locations and this cabin has BY FAR, the most stocked kitchen. There’s a crockpot, instant pot, skillets, pots, plates… even casserole dishes! As someone who does a lot of cooking, it is so nice to arrive and not feel like I have to bring half my kitchen with me. The cabin is always clean, if there are ANY mishaps along the way, the owners are super responsive and will do what needs done quickly. The internet works well… (expect slower downloading/streaming times if a majority of your party is using the internet…. But that’s true anywhere). The game room and hot tub are ALWAYS a big hit. The sunrise view from the main level deck is beautiful. If you have a larger party, want to relax and spend quality time with your friends/family…this cabin is the place for you.

Property was easy to get to and had ample parking for multiple vehicles. Beautiful view and scenery nearby was postcard perfect. Kitchen had plenty of cookware and service for a large group. With 12 people ages 5-75 there was something for everyone to enjoy without even leaving the property. One bedroom on the main floor was prefect for elder family member who does not navigate stairs well as was only a few shallow and wide steps to get to the porch and in the house. The ONLY negative was the sofa, very low and worn, made it difficult for most adults to get up from. All else was AWESOME. Thank you so much for a great trip, we would definately stay here again.

Nice cabin and view. Could definitely use better cleaning service. Main cabin, master bathroom toilet was disgusting. Hairs were pretty much all over floor in both cabins bathrooms. Downstairs mater bedroom jetted tub once filled up with water and jets were turned on the tub filled up with hairs and had to be drained and refilled to bathe. Towels that are hung over the shower rods smelled of old metal. We had to rewash all before using. Lighting in kitchen is way too dim. Either need to change out to clear light fixtures or LED bulbs to provide adequate lighting. The sofa in the main cabin is absolutely horrible. We had several people not being able to even sit on the sofa because We couldn’t get up or down from it. The cushions were way too soft with no support and cushions slid off the couch. My sister had to sit in her wheelchair the whole time. Might need to change the living room set from the small cabin to the big cabin and it would work 1000 times better. Arcade game only worked the first night we were there and then it cut off and no matter what we did we could not get it to cut back on, you could hear it but it wouldn’t show on the screen. Overall nice hot tub, screened in porch and large dining table. Main cabin stocked well. Small cabin could use a lot more dishes like bowls, glasses not just coffee cups, utensils maybe sponge, dish towel, dish detergent something to wipe up and clean up with. This is my family’s 8th year staying in this area for Christmas and there are way to many cabins out there for this kind of money that we have enjoyed more.
10.0
The property looks inviting and was well maintained. Everything we needed to start our vacation was provided. Communication with management/owner was excellent. Thorough Check in and check out procedures were provided. The location was centrally located to the attractions. We appreciated that the cabin was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our family enjoyed our stay very much.

The property was just as described. The house had a beautiful view, was clean and comfortable throughout, and the property owner/manager was responsive and helpful. The theatre in the adjacent cabin was fun and solicited applause from the family when the movie was over. Great sound in there! The kitchen had all the tools and two coffee makers. The family also really enjoyed the game room. All good.
The only complaint was about the wifi. We saw the reviews describing the wifi connection as insufficient but thought we could probably manage with cell data and hotspots. The wifi speed was practically non-existent (0.2 mbps down). We contacted the owners and they said that there is no infrastructure on the mountain so the data speeds are very slow. And because the house is on the side of a hill, the cell signal was poor, too, eliminating the ability to use cell data for a hotspot. This is a great vacation location but do not expect to have access to a reliable data stream here. They hope to have something better next year.
That said, this is a great mountain retreat in a quiet location with all you need to get away. We hope to visit again next year.

We had a great time! The view was great, cabin was very nice. Close enough to everything but out of the busy areas. We really enjoyed our stay!

We bring our family of 19 to TN every fall. This was a great place to handle a crowd. The kids range from 4-13. The kitchen was well equipped and well organized. Plenty of seating; good views out every window. The big hit was the playground and the fire ring for s'mores. The Walker Sisters Place is a short drive away. It's a nice hike (about 2.5 mile round trip) with great history. We didn't have time to watch a movie in the theater, which looked like it would be loads of fun. Maybe next time!

Our group was 12 adults and a 4 year old. We all had an excellent time close enough to all the fun things that Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg provide and at the end of the day this home was very relaxing and had everything we needed. We also used the little home and it was just as wonderful and suited all our needs. I would rent again in a heartbeat.

This cabin was perfect for our trip and group size of 10. Plenty of space to move around and it has everything we needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The beds were even comfortable where we had a great night's rest every night. We will definitely be staying again!!

Very good views and lots of room. Very good for a large group. Definitely would consider this property again. Our stay was in September, the down side was the couch in the great room and the seating in the theater room need to be replaced.

We had a memorable trip with our kids & grandkids. There were 19 in our group and we were all comfortable. The little cabin is a nice option and very roomy. The owner was very responsive to any questions.

My family absolutely enjoyed our stay at this property. Wonderful views from inside and outside the cabin. So many amenities here to take advantage of- game room, hot tub, movie theater, playground, fire pit, we couldn’t have asked for more. Rare to have any kind of yard for the kids in a mountain property. Hot water and air conditioning was more than sufficient for our demands. So many dining seats was a real treat. Hard to get such a comfortable stay for 19 people.
6.0
It was a beautiful location and plenty of room for our family and friends totaling 18. The house is older and needs some TLC. The area had heavy rain the night we arrived so the theater room was flooded and not usable while we were there.

Fantastic 50th Wedding Anniversary trip
We loved this house. 1st, the cleanliness was exceptional. It takes a lot of work to get that large of a place ready in just a few hours. There was plenty of room for our family of 16 and the views from the back deck were breathtaking. There are the tops of some trees that if they were cut back would make the view spectacular. We only had a few minor issues with the house. The toilet in the little cabin flushed super slow. We plunged it several times but to no avail. My husband says it needs to be snaked. I felt terrible for the family members who slept in the 2 upstairs bedroom. They were so hot and we were instructed not to turn the air below 69. I don't know what can be done about this but I do know the thermostat is in a strange position for the upstairs. There was plenty of accessible parking. The hot tub was super clean, but I was a little concerned that some of the boards are warping and there is no extra support underneath it. The left paddle on the arcade game would not work, but fortunately, my son in law was able to fix it. The movie theatre was great. Nice and cool but we had to use DVD's as the wi- fi was terrible, which is understandable for the area. My biggest concern was the landscaping. It needs some serious work in the off season. The graveled walkway from the big house to the theatre room needs to be leveled out. It slants as our children had to help us navigate the path. The steps to the fire pit area were rotted out as we're s few of the steps to the house. The lumber used to hold the retaing wall had rotted away leaving several 3 inch bolts just sticking out of the ground which were dangerous for young children running around. We loved the fire pit area but it definitely needs to be expanded. It was one of our favorite things to do but the most chairs we could get around the area were 8. The hill is too steep to set up lawn chairs, so only half of us could use it at a time. That said,. We had a wonderful trip, the house was lovely and we would rent again if ever in the area. Highly recommend for large groups.

Lots of potential but poorly managed
This property had the potential to be the ideal retreat for my extended family of 13, however we left very disappointed with our experience. The property layout and amenities were great, however most were in poor condition. Being a rental, this is expected to a certain degree, but this property is in need of some serious repairs and renovations.
The list of things that were broken/not working is too long to include here, but some of the more impactful things include the AC for the bedroom on the 3rd floor farthest from the kitchen having no air flow (and thus not cooling the room even though the unit was "working"), and a significant water leak/mold in the theater. Several chairs/decorations and other items had noticeably been damaged before and were either poorly repaired or left broken. The unit was clean though.
If that was the extent of the issues with our experience, I would have given a more positive review as again a lot of those kinds of things are not "unexpected" in a short term rental like this. This is at 1 star because of interactions with the landlord. When I contacted the landlord about the AC not blowing, I was told "I can see on the thermostat it is working, make sure your windows are closed" which we of course had already verified. We did every thing we could to help that room cool, but with limited flow from the duct, that room doesn't cool. Multiple conversations with the landlord on the topic yielded no results, meaning very hot nights for those in that room. I understand this isn't something that is going to get fixed quickly, but I really don't appreciate being talked to like I'm stupid by a landlord who isn't seeing first hand the problems while I'm trying to help them understand the state of their property. The arcade joystick left motion doesn't work (making it unplayable). The response was "make sure you turn it on". Again, I REALLY don't like being talked to like I'm stupid. When contacted about the leak, "we know about it, have someone coming out next week". Based on the amount of mold, I find it hard to believe this was a recent development. The electronic entry code was remotely reset for the smaller cabin before our checkout time which would have locked us out while packing if we didn't fortunately still have someone in the room when it happened. Combined with cameras everywhere and remote changes to ac temp, its clear the landlord has no respect/trust for the tenants. Avoid ASUN rentals.
