About this cottage rental
Located on a quiet and private road, Holiday Cove sits back off the water within a lake community, and enjoys access to the lake and a limited lake view at an affordable rate for larger groups of guests.
As you enter the home you will notice that it is decorated with a chic & modern flair. Showcasing hardwood floors in the great room, flat screen TVs, a wood fireplace, upscale furniture, and oversized kitchen with plenty of counter space (ideal for the chef of the family). Three spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms off the kitchen are also available on the main level. The lower level is finished and features another bedroom with two double beds and living room area, perfect for children!
Just off the great room is a 15x30 Trex deck, with quality outdoor furniture for dining or lounging. If you want to escape from the sun, a 12x25 covered veranda is located just off the dining room.
The large, level lawn makes this pet-friendly property the perfect place to spend time with family and friends enjoying outdoor games! The lakefront is located in a cove, so swimming along the shoreline is weedy, but fishing is exceptional and the marina at the end of the street allows easy access in and out of the water for your boat. There is a picnic table and fire pit for evening campfire entertainment, and a kayak and rowboat for guest enjoyment.
Dock Access: Please note- water levels can vary and in a dry season water levels may be too low to safely dock a boat at the property. If this happens, we recommend you request a boat slip at Hibiscus Harbor to dock your boat.
Occupancy: This property is closely monitored for responsible renting. The maximum occupancy of each home is the number of guests allowed on the premises at any given time. This includes both day and overnight guests.
Note:
1. Smoking is not allowed in any rental property. This includes vaping and e-cigarettes.
2. Homes are not handicap accessible, unless stated in the description.
3. Air conditioning is not available unless listed as an amenity. If available, air conditioning is considered a seasonal amenity and is only available May 15 - October 15.
4. Where pets are allowed it is indicated. Otherwise, pets are not allowed. Homes are not guaranteed allergen-free, even those that do not allow pets.
5. Docking capabilities may vary based on current water levels. Docking is not guaranteed if water levels are low and/or high due to seasonal weather and climate changes.
6. Outdoor amenities, including furniture/watercraft and firepit are not available between October 15 - May 15.

Pictures of this rental aren’t realistic- proximity of lake to unit is farther than what it looks like. Very small window of lake view because of a large house directly in front of this unit. However, because of other positive elements; we still would rent again. Nice large kitchen and living room, 3 eating areas/tables, and comfortable bed’s upstairs. Dock had steps into water, and small fire pit. Picnic table badly needs replacing, and a chair was broken on deck but all else in good working condition including a nice grill. Kitchen was well appointed with many pots , pans and utensils. Was great for family and small kids!

Eventhough most of the problems were eventually resolved the first 2 days were VERY stressful! Couldn't get ahold of company that was taking care of house for 4 DAYS! (2 days before arrival then first 2 days there)Then they came and solved most of the problems but some of them came back with plumbing, called again and again NO replies. Area was overall nice.

Well laid out, lovely ranch with basement, great dock and launch area for kayak.
Only complaint was that the house was listed with a.c and none were put in, we had to call and the house was very warm but the property ppl were able to come by end of next day

The house was super spacious inside and very clean. It was a great space for a wine weekend up at the finger lakes.

Enjoyed catching up with sorority sisters & visiting the wineries. House had lots of room, beds, & everything that we needed. Just need to air out basement, little musty. Plenty of space & bathrooms. Very convenient to not have to worry about bedding & towels. Great weekend!

House wasn’t clean. Crumbs under the dining room table & around the couch. Furniture had not been dusted. Listing said bedrooms & great room had window AC. Main floor twin bedroom had NO window AC & no window screen so window couldn’t be opened….very hot. Kitchen windows are painted shut & window AC is too small to cool the open floor plan of living room, kitchen & dining room. Could only open 1 sliding door. The screen door on the patio door with picnic table was broken and sitting on the patio. Pull cord for overhead light on main floor is missing. You can’t use the overhead fan unless the overhead light is also on. The mattresses are great on all beds but the pillows need to be replaced. Very nice house but needs attention to some basic details.

Home has lots of space. Longer walk to water than expected, no bathroom in basement, couple fans did not work. House in front blocking the majority of the view of the lake. Water access was easy to walk into.

Wells Graduation! house was fine but only 3 bedrooms. Had to put 5 downstairs and no bathroom or privacy for those 5. Downstairs would be good for kids but a little uncomfortable for adults

Lots of beds but only 2 closets.
Overall, it was a spacious and comfortable stay. The out side can use some night lighting. We could not find the front door nor the number on the house because we got there after the sun had set. The dishes could use an update because they were a bit dated and scratched from over use and washing in the dishwasher. We bought paper plates, cup and throw-away eating utensils. Also there were some stink bugs that had snuck into the one of the bathrooms and one of the bedrooms.

Beautiful home
Beautiful home with lots of room to spread out. Kitchen was perfect size for our family of 8. Very nice outdoor deck. There is a large home in front of this home so view of the lake from the deck was somewhat obscured. The firepit is great for toasting s'mores. Bedrooms were nice size and the beds were extremely comfortable. There was no screen in one of the windows in the master bedroom so couldn't open the window at night. The screen on the patio door is ripped, needs replacement. The personal touches made our stay very homey. All in all great home to stay while visiting wineries or boating.

Look out
Last minute cancellation of another property, the Look Out was offered as a "backup". The property was not "arrival ready". Grass was cut just before our arrival, grass clippings all over walk ways and common areas. Kayaks listed for use were full of water and had been for quite a while. Fire pit had weeds growing in it 3 ft high, was weed wacked the day before our departure. In closing, the last minute cancellation caused a 1:30 min commute every day to the area we had rented the first location to be close to. Unexpected things happen, but the level of effort to make our "backup" rental as good as it could have been was lacking.

Great place
We really enjoyed our stay! The location is nice, the house is really comfortable. We had some issues with plumbing but we were able to work it out and someone came by early the very next morning to take a look. Overall a great stay!

Solid Rental
In person, the interior of the house actually seemed larger than in pictures, which doesn't happen often. The area was very nice, with a marina and restaurant less than a half mile away. Dock access was direct and easy. One downside is that one of the showers leaked into the basement where the double bed room is. It seemed like it may have happened before, but I'm not entirely sure.
In the end, I would stay there again.

The most uninspired overpriced rental
We showed up early just to check things out. The cleaniyperson slammed the door as I walked by. Check in is at 4:00 PM yet the cleaner remained until 4:38 Front step broken no railing, cable not set up in the rooms, the kitchen reminded me of a college students, not very well stocked, there wasn't even a large frying pan. this is not a lake house, it's a house near a lake. the cropped photo suggests "steps" from the lake (like 100 paces) it's set quite far back so my elderly mother had a difficult time getting to the dock.no problem there because the dock was covered in bird shit from end to end. The cove was to shallow to get a boat into, so I had to rent a slip at the marina. Basement smelled of mold & mildew, not all of the windows had screens. Blue tape was used around the air conditioners. A worker showed up on Saturday to install a smoke detector. He also delivered propane for the grill & left it sitting on the deck. Zero personal touches on this place. Way over priced for a mediocre set up. This is a house that someone threw a bunch of furniture in & stocked the kitchen w/ one trip from the good will. Slapped it up on VRBO & is making a pile of money... It's a shame, it's my mother's 75th birthday & we wanted to have a get together privately. We made the best of it but I will never use VRBO again.

Awesome Family Vacation Spot
Absolutely fantastic location for a family vacation (7 adults, 2 young toddlers, and a dog). The yard was great for the kids and dog to play. The property was located far enough from the water that there was no danger of kids falling in, but still had lake access for fishing and kayaking. The house was spacious, the kitchen was equipped with absolutely anything you could need, the deck was beautiful and had plenty of space for everyone. The property manager was very responsive when we had trouble with the door lock and a hornets nest. We had a great time!

Very nice place
Very nice place and good rental company. Should probably change listing to inform you that there is a large house in front of this house, though the access to the lake was nice.

Perfect Getaway
Holiday Cove was the perfect getaway for my friends and me this 4th of July! While the house looks small from the outside, it is very spacious inside with plenty of beds in addition to plenty of space in the kitchen for cooking. We had an amazing weekend and easily got the help we needed when calling the office. Only thing I would change is that the dock was not cleaned off prior to our stay, so definitely pack flip flops :)

Misleading
Let me start by saying all of our frustration is with the property management group not the home owner. 1) Not lake front. There is a large house that has been built directly in front of the house. Pics are not accurate 2) horrible communication with management. No return call/email/VRBO messaging. 3) misleading about being able to have a boat. Water at the dock is 1 1/2 feet only good for a pontoon 4) called us 10 min before check-in to inform us they didn’t have time to install the window AC units on a 90 degree day.
House is in great condition just very dismayed with the level of deception in the description. Better options that are truely lakefront.

Very nice
We had a wonderful time at this home. Close to the things we wanted to do including shopping, casino and hiking. This property could use a bathroom downstairs even a half bath so those that are sleeping down there don’t have to navigate those steep stairs during the night. There bight be restrictions because of the septic but you could get rid of that half bath that is so tiny it was laughable and put one in downstairs instead.

Wonderful!
We had an amazing time. Property was even better than it looked on the listing. Such a beautiful view of the Lake. So lush and green.

We loved the house! We've taken many trips to he Finger Lakes, I think this is my favorite house so far!
The bugs tho.... hundreds of them all over the deck, and quite a few inside too. After we looked them up we realized they were harmless, but still gross on the ceiling while we were sleeping. :(
