About this house rental
(Estes Park Town Registration #3256)
Beautiful house located on the 2nd fairway of the Estes Park 9 Hole Golf Course. Spectacular mountain views from all windows including the deck. Our home is a short walk (500 yards or less) to the Estes Park Visitors Center, Lake Estes Walking Trail, Big Thompson River for fly fishing and Elk Calving Area. We are located a half mile from downtown and it is an easy walk. The Estes Park Visitors Center (short walk) has shuttle buses available to drive you into Rocky Mountain National Park during the summer season.
Two of the bedrooms have cedar log king size beds. The third bedroom has twin beds. All 3 bedrooms have a chest of drawers, TV with remote control and ceiling fans. The Game Room has a set of twin bunk beds and a queen size hideaway sofa (all with memory foam mattresses). We also have a travel crib at the house if you need it. However, our house is NOT baby or toddler proofed!
The main level has 1 King Bedroom and 1 Full Bath; the downstairs level has 1 King Bedroom, Twin Bedroom, Game Room with Bunk Beds (2) and a Queen Hide Away Sofa Bed and 1 Full Bath.
We also have an Office Area with a desk, printer and wireless internet for those of you who still need to work a little while on vacation. A full size washer and dryer are also located downstairs in the utility room. Laundry Room also has an extra sink with a mirror. And yes... we have an iron and ironing board.
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, Keurig coffee maker (bring your own K cups). Also included is a microwave, gas range, all utensils, pots, pans, plates, glasses and coffee mugs.
There is complimentary high-speed wireless internet. Also included is a 52 inch smart TV in the family room and a 32 inch flat screen TV in ALL 3 bedrooms with Sling streaming TV.
The large outside deck is great for watching the Elk, golfers or people fly fishing in the evening. We have lots of outside seating and a table if you choose to eat outside. There is a gas grill if you want to cook burgers or steak.
During elk rut season you will find many elk roaming the golf course behind our home. Amazing front row seat to this magical nature season. Also front row seats from the deck for the July 4th fireworks!

The home was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of room. Great kitchen and laundry. Two living areas. Great location convenient to everything, but also quiet. Communication with owners was excellent. I have been coming to Estes over 50 years and this is one of our favorite homes we have stayed in. We would love to stay here again.

The house is very spacious and the location is great! It was very convenient to be within walking distance to the shops downtown. We kived watching the elk and geese on the golf course, and it was a perfect spot to watch the fireworks on the 4th of July! We would love to stay again.

This home is one of the best spots in Estes Park, in our opinion... beautiful views of the golf course and the mountains, but also walkable to downtown. The home had everything we needed, including all the kitchen tools to cook dinners, etc., and plenty of space. We hope to return!

We absolutely loved this place. So convenient and close to downtown and grocery store! My son and husband loved the location on golf course! Very well equipped kitchen and bedding supplies. Just a couple suggestions for improvement would be a small vacuum sweeper for the rug in living room and some smaller kitchen towel/dish cloths/sponges. Other than that, it was perfect! King beds were VERY comfortable. Very nice and we will be back for sure! Thanks so much!

What a great home in a beautiful setting just outside of the Estes hustle and bustle. We shopped and dined in Estes and walked from the home. Might not be for everyone but everything was within 1.5 miles and much of the walk was along the Fall River. The house had everything that we needed to make several meals and the evenings on the deck overlooking the golf course were really special for our family.

We loved our stay at the property and the location was great! So close to everything in Estes Park! Would love to stay here again on our next vacation to the area.

A small girls group of friends came to experience the Colorado hiking trails. This place was comfortable for us and conveniently located

Our family of 7 had a great 3-night stay at this lovely property. It is a 2-min drive from the Visitor Center or Safeway. We saw elk in the backyard every afternoon, which was a treat. Communication with the owner was excellent as well.

Home was in a great location! Kitchen was fully stocked, as listed including a griddle, crockpot, multiple sized pots and pans, roaster, mixers and multi-sized bowls. This was great for meals. Home was walking distance from the stores in Historic Estes but did require crossing Hwy 34. Awesome view of the mountains. We would stay again!

So glad we booked this place! Beautiful views across the golf course, close to everything, layout was perfect for visiting and had enough beds/bedrooms for a fun girls weekend. Clean, had all the amenities we needed, clear instructions for Wifi TV etc. And although we had no issues it was nice to know we could reach via text or phone for a quick response. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We loved staying here. We would highly recommend!

The Concern,
The Refridgerator was reading that it was overheating, The Refridgerator was giving a load alarm noise during the day and night
My son wanted to play catch with his dad, unfortunately the back yard was very high and had not been mowed in a while
The chairs on the outside porch were very uncomfortable to sit in to get a good reach of the table meal
This was the topper the wine opener in the door was supper small cheap piece of junk that had to be worked by two people. I was concerned that I would get cut while holding it in place

We had an amazing weekend staying here for our friends wedding! The home is close to town but still a bit of a walk. The property was lovely and cozy and does sleep8 but it is important to note there are only two small bathrooms - so keep that in mind if you're traveling with couples as it can be a little tight. We loved hanging out on the couches and on the deck and would definitely come back, but maybe with a group of 4 or 6.

We were in town to see the Rocky Mountain National Park. This property was very nicely equipped and clean. The golf course in the back is very scenic and sometimes had geese and elk to watch. The yard could use a mow though. All in all, we really liked the property.
4.8
Great house with back deck and plenty of space downstairs. Only downside is the 1 bathroom downstairs.
4.8
We really enjoyed our visit to the area.
Estes Park is a charming town.
The home was very spacious and comfortable.
The location was perfect for walking around town and an easy drive to the RMNP.

The location was wonderful- the Elk made it spectacular. The only downside was how poorly the rental was stocked- the worst we have ever had. Ice maker on fridge was broken and they had ice trays but weren’t filled - tiny bar of soap in each bathroom and no soap dish. Not what we were expecting- hope the owners step it up.

This is a beautiful place to stay. Great accommodation for the 7 people we had there. Plenty of room, at no time did we feel crowded

Couldn’t have asked for a better location in Estes Park, at least for what we were looking for. We had a herd of elk in the backyard for our entire trip. My boys felt like they were in a zoo without fences. The place had more than enough room for our family. Wonderful views and easy access in and out of downtown. Would stay again for sure.

Easy access to town

The location is beautiful we were there mid September and had elk in the backyard every night. Very open and spacious house. We loved our stay!

Very nice. Everything worked, great location. Difficult to only be able to park 2 cars.
4.8
Was a perfect place for our group of all ages to recharge before we explored Rocky Mountain National Park!
4.8
We booked this 3 hours prior to checkin. It was ready when we got there. It was nice and clean, and decent location.
4.8
Property was nice but would have been better with air conditioning in the house. We slept in the basement so we could be cool at night.
4.8
Our family has enjoyed Estes on numerous occasions, but this was by far our favorite place to stay. The home is located close to everything you need, updated and the perfect size for our family. Having the river close by to enjoy at night was a highlight for our kids.

Estes Park Geteway
This property is in the heart of Estes Park. Handy to everything. Right on the golf course. As others have said, sometimes a mower going in the morning, but it is offset by the Elk in the back yard at night. The house is getting a little dated, but has great bones, and I think the price we paid was a good value. Would stay here again.

Perfect and peaceful
We enjoyed our stay. It felt as if we truly were in our home away from home. The property was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed the sights and sounds of the Canadian geese every morning. The property is in a quiet neighborhood and is a short distance to town.
4.8
Perfect Location
This house is really the perfect location for a week of solitude, and or a busy week in Estes Park. It is very quiet on a golf course and yet only a half a mile from downtown Estes Park. A great home.

Family getaway
Had a wonderful time during our short stay. The kids loved the extra room downstairs. The beds were comfortable and the location worked very well for us. I am surprised to see the previous review "Stay for Wedding" which said this property was dirty? The home was well kept, clean and had all the amenities needed. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Paul and Joyce for the use of your beautiful home and quick replies to questions during our stay!

Stay for wedding
Great location. Place is a bit run down and dirty. Carpets are filthy and windows haven’t been cleaned in years. Upstairs bathtub hardly drained. Mice in kitchen at night(OK, not the biggest deal). Daughter found a pair of fake eyelashes on carpet between beds downstairs, makes you wonder if it was cleaned/ vacuumed. Again, great location just not kept up well. We dont feel its worth the price.

Great property in a great location.
Family had a great time.

We had a wonderful time hosting friends and family! Beautiful home with beautiful views!
The home was clean and well kept. In an amazing location! Walking distance to downtown with gorgeous views!

Great Estes Park Getaway Close to everything!!
The house looks exactly like it does in the pictures. The inside was immaculate !! The cleaning crew does a great job. The main level is spacious and beautiful.
The downstairs is set up perfectly for great sleeping! It is nice and cool down there (summertime) and the black out shades make it so you can sleep peacefully.
I would have rated 5 starts but, the outside needs some work. The deck is falling apart badly. The rotted planks make it feel very unsteady. The other thing is that the exterior needs a good power washing. There are spider webs everywhere..
Again, the inside is clean and very comfortable. The sheets and beds were nice. We enjoyed it!

Nice home in a great location
The house worked well for our family of three adults. It was conveniently located with easy access to the grocery store, downtown Estes Park, Lake Estes, the public golf course and two entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park. The house was clean with plenty of space and had all of the amenities that we needed. We frequently saw elk grazing nearby. The house is on a golf course which provides a nice view from the back deck but every morning I was awakened at 6am by the lawnmower on the golf course. There also is a bit of background road noise as the house is somewhat near two busy roads.
Also, be aware that there is no air conditioning. The main level of the house did get fairly warm in the afternoon even with all of the windows open and the fans on. However, it cooled off quickly once the sun set and was quite cool by morning. The downstairs bedrooms stayed cool throughout the day. Overall a very nice experience.

Mini vacation
Great place to stay with easy access to walking trails and Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park.

Family getaway
Just the space we needed to enjoy the re-opening of Estes Park. Easy walk to the shops and restaurants. Great communication with owners
4.8
Beautiful setting
We had a wonderful time watching the elk, hiking in the national park and exploring the shops in town.
4.8
Great place
Perfect location, lots of room and very homey. Saw looks of elk. The only thing I can complain about is the outside decks need replaced or redone. The railing on the back steps is loose and unsafe. Otherwise it would have been a 5 star rating!

Daughter’s RMNP Wedding
Great location and home for getting the bride ready. Kitchen has awesome appliances to prepare food and great family table for gathering around.
Icing on weekend was the morning we left an Elk family was hanging out in back yard.
A memorable weekend was had by all from Wedding to Elk!
