The cabin is in a beautiful location with stunning morning sunrises on the front porch and evening sunsets on the back deck. We had 4 couples staying at the cabin and it was perfect for our vacation. The only down fall was that there was no AC when the listing listed it to have it. The basement room was the coldest and the heat did not bother them. The other bedrooms especially the loft got very warm. We did our best to cool the cabin by opening windows. Overall it did not ruin our vacation but it would have been more comfortable if there had been AC. The property owner did say they are planning to add it for next summer. Any time I messaged the owner they responded back in a reasonable time. When we notified them we needed garbage bags, dish soap, and toilet paper those items were delivered that day to the front porch. The owner was very responsive and nice! The only reason for the 4 stars is due to the AC being an inaccurate amenity. You will see mule deer every morning right from the deck and porch as well! You are moments away from Estes Park and the entrance to RMNP. I highly recommend this location for your next vacation!

This was our third time at this cabin. The living spaces and bedrooms give our family plenty of spots to spread out while also offering quality family time. The kitchen is great for cooking in the cabin. The outdoor area provides for peaceful relaxation that feels secluded from neighbors and welcoming to deer visitors. A great cabin and location!

Lovely snowy weekend retreat for our Girls Weekend. House was everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, house was clean and all the deer outside was a bonus. We cooked, laughed and soaked in the hot tub. Close enough to town for convenience but you feel part of the mountains. A few of the houses were closer than we expected but it didn’t take away from our enjoyment. Having multiple bathrooms was awesome.

Wow! Can't say enough about Moose Mountain Lodge. From the moment we walked in and looked around we were all saying "omg, wow, look at this, etc". We saw wildlife on the yard almost every morning. Beautiful views for morning coffee and sunsets. The beds were amazing and so comfortable. Perfect space for our 5 adults. Close to town (10 minute drive). Very peaceful.

Just 9-10 minutes from the town of Estes Park. This property was so nice, and very quiet. OMG wildlife everywhere, and right up to the house and porch. Sitting on well over an acre of land, made it so peaceful while relaxing in the private hot tub on the back patio! Inside the house was great as well, all updated amenities and beautiful decorations. Bonus: who doesn’t like Ping Pong!!!! Had some fun games with the wife. Temper-pedic beds too, very comfortable stay!!

Everything was perfect and was clean.
We loved the property and loved our stay.
It was frustrating that we could not talk to a property manager to explain how sick our daughter was on the day of check in. We asked to check in early that day as our daughter had a fever and was vomiting every 30-60 minutes. We had checked out of our hotel that morning and had no place for her to rest and give her the care she needed. We spent the day cleaning her vomit out of the rental car and puking at various scenic locations.
Would have liked to talk to someone about the urgency of getting into the rental. Instead we got a text that told us we could not check in until 4:00 PM.

This house was perfect for our family’s stay in Estes Park. The neighborhood was so quiet and we saw elk and deer out the window every day. The view of the mountains from the living room was breathtaking. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and more as well as very clean. We throughly enjoyed the ping pong table in the basement and all the beds were comfortable. The location was great as well. We were able to be in Rocky Mountain National Park in around 10 minutes. This spacious cabin truly made our visit to the area extra special and relaxing. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a quiet getaway to the Estes Park area.

MML did not disappoint. Owners were very responsive and accommodating( thanks again) instructions were simple/convenient to operate inside and outside the house. Plenty of space and very well up kept. Not far from shopping and wildlife(i.e Rocky Mountain National Park) and also The Stanley hotel which was very interesting. Very peaceful and serene - would definitely recommend and recommend. MML ROCKS! Peace and Blessings to Mitzi, Randy and the others that help keep MML going.

Great stay. Super quiet location. And beautiful evenings with the dark sky’s. Property manager kept in contact and was helpful when we lost WiFi. Would stay again.

The only complaint would be the beds are not comfortable and the pillows are horrible. The wind was blowing so hard we could not use the hot tub so can’t comment on that.

This is the cleanest cabin we have ever stayed in. The interior of the cabin was amazing and well stocked. We so enjoyed that. Our only issue is concerning the view. We were a bit disappointed as we were arriving here. Yes there are stunning Mountain View’s, but they are far away and behind the power lines, houses, etc. There are power lines around the entire perimeter of the property. The neighbor behind the cabin is only a stones throw from the hot tub. Yes the listing mentioned that the cabin was in a neighborhood, but the listing photos give the impression that the cabin was pretty private with unobstructed Mountain views And that just isn’t the case. It was a great value for staying so close to RMNP. But the property was not what we were expecting concerning the privacy and the views after viewing the listing photos.

Property is beautifully kept and the owners provide lots of helpful information about the cabin and the surrounding location. Elk do roam around the house and it has beautiful views of the mountains. Short distance to Estes Park and RMNP. Highly recommend!!
4.0 / 10.0
The area that the cabin is located in is beautiful and welcoming. The interior of the cabin is exactly as presented in the pictures. We were even welcomed by elk visiting the cabin each day. There are 2 main reasons this rental does not receive a 5 star review.
Firstly, the exterior pictures of the cabin are misleading as to the size of the property the cabin is located on and the proximity of neighbors. One exterior picture is actually taken from across the street but the street is covered with snow so you can’t tell and another picture is from a far corner of the property on the other side of the property and is taken at a such an angle that it hides a neighboring home.
Secondly, is the cleanliness of the home on the inside and the minor maintenance needed on the outside. High traffic areas/surfaces such as toilets and countertops were cleaned but it appeared that those areas were the only areas where cleaning had happened. For example, when we reclined the sofa you could see that there was abound 1/4in of dust along with some trash under the leg rests. As we have small children who crawl and roll on the floor this was an issue so we moved the sofa and used the vacuum in the home to clean the floors prior to settling in. This was also evident in the ceiling fans which were covered in dust. There’s also maintenance needed to the stone pavers and wooden stairs leading to the front door. Some stone pavers are loose to the point where they lift and slide when you step on them and it’s fine if you are expecting it after the first time but the first time we did almost trip and fall. Similarly with the stairs as there are some loose nails and partially rotted boards that that lean and move when stepped on. Again you’re ok if you’re aware they’re there but that first time caught us off guard.
All in all, the perks of scenery and wildlife and the fact that we intended on not spending ALL of our time at the cabin each day outweighed the downsides to the point that I am only giving the rental a one star deduction.

Gorgeous views from an amazing cabin space! It was great having three full-size bathrooms to accommodate eight females, a large table to eat and play games around, and we loved having the hot tub on the back deck! We also had several elk and deer outside in the yard!
