We liked how we were within walking distance to some nice coffee shops and restaurants with easy on/off access to get to the highway or to any of our many adventures. We were also a quick walk to Waikiki beach! We had a rental Jeep for our trip so it was FANTASTIC that the parking spot was included with the room, a real convenience and money saver for us.

Comfortable basecamp for exploring Waikiki or taking excursions.

Property is only a short walk to the beach and it is surrounded by drink and food options. Unit was simple, but charming and most importantly it was clean and had the right amenities. Would stay again!

Our trip to Hawaii did not start off well as we had booked at a large chain hotel with a TON of extra fees. After one night, we had 12 minutes to check out and we contacted Martin... he replied so quickly! It was available and we moved. They even let us in early that day and allowed us to stay later on check out day because our flight was at night.
The stay itself was wonderful. It was a good size for the two of us, I am not sure I would want to have more people but it was great for us. The pool was one floor below, easy to access by stairs. I think the best thing about the place was the people who also stayed there. Year after year, they came back and we made new friends at the pool. It was small, always chairs available on the pool deck, and there was a public BBQ.
Even though we were booking through VRBO, the staff were clearly happy to be there and so helpful. There is an IHOP attached to the hotel (would not recommend, terrible service) but just a few minutes away were food trucks and tables.
Location was FABULOUS! Pharmacy, restaurants, and the beach was a short walk away. I always felt safe and would stay alone for sure.
Martin and Cindy could not have been more lovely. I hurt my back one day and Cindy showed up at our door, after 10 pm, with a, extra pillow for me. Always responsive. After one week of being home, I am looking to see when it's available so I can go back. Best decision ever.

I was hesitant to stay in Waikiki, but it was wonderful! We were able to walk the beach in the mornings, leave in the car for adventures around the island, and come back to find good dining experiences. The parking was a thrill ride all on its own, but we were thankful to have it. We would definitely stay here again just to sleep on their comfortable pillows!

Vrbo keeps asking me to leave a review on my stay so I will be transparent.
Room wise, the room is great for the price. Location is super close and walking distance to everything in Waikiki. Check in is easy. The room is modern and has everything you need from a hotel. The free parking per day was a huge factor. Great location, modern spacious room, great parking situation.
Experience wise, wasn’t the best for me. My trip to Oahu was cut short due to Hurricane Hilary. My flight got delayed from San Diego to Oahu and I missed out on 2 nights of my scheduled stay. Vrbo would not refund me for the 2 nights missed due to that underwhelming hurricane. I did notify the host that I would be arriving 2 days late because of my flight situation. With that being said, when I finally did check in to the room, it was a mess. Towels on the floor, the bed was a mess, dirty floor, and the bathroom was not cleaned or restocked. It appeared that this room had not been cleaned ever since the last person checked out. Now understand my frustration, I already missed 2 days of my vacation because of a hurricane, no refunds for those 2 days, and now when I finally get to Oahu and check into my room, it is a complete mess. There were 2 extra days to clean the room, I didn’t understand how I walked into a mess.
The room is great for the price. My personal experience from the hurricane Hilary extravaganza does not take anything away from the greatness from the room. I would recommend

Everything was great for our stay only bad part was traffic which was not really a problem. Everything was great felt at home, Thank you Martin we will 100% be staying at your property again. #304 had the best view and Trade Winds to keep the Lanai open in the evening!!!!Mahalo Nui for a great experience!!!

Surprised my wife with a trip to Oahu. This place was perfect for our needs. The room was spacious with a king size bed, a pull out couch, 2 small refrigerators, a microwave, etc…. The assigned free parking space was great! One of the best things is the location! We walked across the street, through the Hilton resort to a beautiful beach every morning and at night we would walk down the beach, then a short 3-5 minute walk back to our room. Our room also overlooked the pool and standing out on the balcony, we had ocean views. We loved every minute of our stay!

There are several housing options in Waikiki that are much past their prime. No balcony, windows do not open so no fresh air. Kitchenette means only one sink- the one in the bathroom. I had a view of the small pool one floor below. (There are 3 extremely slow elevators) made a major error by double booking my stay and did not catch the error until too late for a refund. Owner said he would try to rebook those 3 days but I never heard from him again and no refund. My fault but I was so glad to leave for my stay in a Turtle Bay condo which was a huge improvement.

Great stay. Great room. Great Vacation. My wife and I made our first trip to Hawaii ever. After promising her for 31 years to take her all the stars came in line. Airfare price was right so I booked. Then I found this VRBO listing and I started to read the reviews. If you are worried about the parking deck review or anything else don’t be. The room is great. The location is great and walking distance to the beach is very reasonable. Lots of great food within walking distance also. Trip info - rent a car (Jeep). It’s a little over an hour drive to the North Shore from here. Diamond Head is a great hike. Snorkel Hanauma Bay (be ready to get your tickets online at7am. They are gone by 7:05🤣. Enjoyed the stay

We loved the location. So much was walking distance. It was nice to having an assigned parking space also.

Perfect stay although a couple more pillows for the bed would have been even better. I would prefer not to use a sham covered pillow to sleep on. Other than that the unit was great for my 3 day stay.

Fine.
We booked for 4 people, only given towels for 2. Found someone else's underwear tucked behind the mattress. Yuck.
Parking was nice, pool was close by, location was great. Overall, experience was fine.

Loved our get away to Honolulu.
The property was everything it said it would be. No hidden resort fee, no extra parking fee and best of all a very comfortable king size bed. Comfortable couch and little table with three chairs.

Great location and price
I would stay at this property again. Check in was quick and easy. Location was great. Easy walk to the beach. Plenty of food and shopping options in walking distance if you don’t want to drive and have to park at different places. Pool onsite was a nice option to have. The parking garage as mentioned in other posts is small but we had a Dodge Charger and did fine just had to take our time around the corners. The water pressure was pretty low and the room and hallway smelled a little musty. But we didn’t spend much time in the room so it wasn’t too bad.

Nice cozy place, convenient, with all the amenities - laundry, reserved parking, close to Waikiki and easy to get to main highway.

My expirience:
I found this accommodation to be as advertised and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Waikiki. Affordable and parking included are huge selling points.

December Vacation
The room suited our needs mostly well. There were 2 mini fridges, one was mostly frozen over inside. Microwave was useful, but washing the dishes in the bathroom sink was awkward. It was good to not have an extra fee for parking each day.

Excellent Waikiki location. Free parking in garage is a big plus!
Assigned parking stall is almost at the top of parking garage and turns from floor to floor are tight for vehicles larger than compact. No disposable cups for bathroom use and no dishwasher to ensure provided dishes are sanitized (COVID precautions?) Housekeeping apparently did not include checking under the bed. A single high-heeled shoe was found under the bed from a previous tenant.

Endroit agréable!!
Emplacement parfaite!!! Les commodités sont correct.. manquait la plaque chauffante pour se faire à manger ce nous occasionné un peu de problème ... avons donc utilisé le bbq . Stationnent très pratique..balcon un peu décevant que des portes patios..piscine et terasse très agréable .

The building is located a short walk to Waikiki Beach. Theres plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. The pool is one floor below, directly outside the doorwall. There really isnt a balcony, only about a one foot ledge outside the doorwall and it opens toward the road so it will be noisy if you want it open. The room came with parking and that is a big plus. It can be a challenge finding someplace close to your hotel and the cost per night when your hotel does offer parking. The owner is very responsive and checking-in is similar to a hotel. Dont count on sleeping too long on the sleeper sofa as it is not much for comfort. Overall youll find this room a very good value.

We liked the location and its proximity to shops, restaurants and the beach.

A nice value, especially with parking.
I was initially afraid of the noise coming up from Ala Moana Blvd as the apartment is on the street side of the building. After staying there, it turned out to be no problem at all as it is set back by the swimming pool, and the glass door insulate any other noise.
It is very comfortable with adequate space although the only cooking facilities are a refrigerator, microwave, and toaster. -- more like a dorm room; and just a bathroom sink.
It is a short walk to the beach, but a long walk to the center of Waikiki.
A great value is the included parking considering the hotels are charging $30-$50 a day.

Excellent Location
The property is located at a very convenient part of Waikiki and a short stroll to Hilton. Facilities in the apartment are adequate. You feel secured as the entry to the hotel/serviced apartment was manned 24/7. Carparking is definitely a plus if you need parking. Carpark entry, and going up and down the floors, might be a bit tight; but once you get used to it, it is no issue. Will definitely stay in this apartment when we go back to Hawaii in future.

Great place!
My wife and I both enjoyed our stay. The location was a short 5 - 7 minute walk to the beach. The room was very clean and nice. The A/C kept the room cool. The bed was very comfortable and provided a great sleep after a day of touring the island. The parking ramps to the 3rd floor parking were a little tight but if you take your time it is no problem and by the end of our stay it way easy. Overall we really enjoyed the room and Aqua Palms. I would highly recommend staying here.

Location Location for beaches and shopping
Value for money, loved the location as it was easy walking to beaches, Waikiki and Ala Moana.
The room itself was similar to a hotel room, however having amenities for example; toaster oven, microwave, 2 bar fridges and plates made it cost effective as we were able to make our own meals. Groceries were ready available from Target at Ala Moana.
The room space worked for us as there were only two of us. The room can sleep 4, however we had 2 suitcases each and with our carry-on luggage - anymore would have been too much.
Having our own parking spot was also fabulous. Hotel staff do have a habit of parking in that area, so on day one we had to park elsewhere within the carpark until that staff member finished their shift. After that we didn't have a problem as we placed the witch’s hat in the parking spot when we were out. The carpark was quiet, so navigating the ramps was easy.
Overall it was an excellent experience and would love to return in the future.

Great location
The room and hotel are old but clean and the location is perfect for my family. My only complaints are having to live out of the suitcase because the dresser drawers are full of sheets and towels and some of the towels have a bad odor. We washed them but it didn’t help and they probably need to be replaced. I would certainly stay here again.

Close to food, shopping and fun.
The room could be described as being smallish and does not have a true kitchen, but it was close to many great restaurants, places to shop and the beach, with included free parking. We were able to enjoy and save money by taking several meals at "home." It was an enjoyable space and worked well for our time on the island. We spent an afternoon at the on site pool and enjoyed meeting several other guests. We would stay at this property again.

Great location and space!
The deluxe studio at the Aqua Palms Waikiki was great! Very nice and spacious. Great location for those looking to enjoy Waikiki. Especially clutch was the parking spot in the garage, which allowed us to rent a car to explore the rest of the island. It is a tight squeeze to get the car up and down those ramps, but we got the hang of it after a while. Mahalo!
6.0
Depends on what you need
On the plus side, parking is included though the parking garage is very difficult to navigate and other people sometimes parked in the space and we had to go get hotel people to deal with it. The garage ramps are very narrow and steep and from the looks of the walls (scrapes, gashes, etc.) and comments from people in the elevator, lots of folks have a tough time.
The location is on one end of Waikiki. It takes a good 20 minutes or more to walk to the areas in the center of Waikiki where all the action we were interested was.
The room itself was okay. Fine for a night or two. Housekeeping is...interesting. We were greeted with stacks of wet towels (water was puddled on the floor). Found a wadded up towel in a corner and a moldy potholder. But it was fine otherwise. Bathroom was clean and everything was too. I will say the sheet quality was really poor. The material was like that of window sheers--the curtains you hang that you can see through. The sheets came off the beds (sofa and regular bed) every night, so we had to re-do everything everyday. I bought sheets like this once because they were very cheap and promptly gave them away.
We used the kitchen appliances a lot during our multi-day stay. If you turned on more than one thing--microwave and toaster for example, sometimes the circuit tripped and we had to get hotel people to re-set it. Rather frustrating.
Check-in process was bumpy. We didn't quite know where to meet or what Martin looked like. Took us a while to meet up.
This is one of those places where you have to consider your needs, budget, plans, travel style, etc. If I only needed a night or two, I'd stay here again. Any longer, and I think I'd look elsewhere.

Great stay
Compact, clean and well positioned apartment giving easy access to local area! Fantastic beach, safe lagoon and bar only 5 min walk! As for any tours? Pick up point was just 2 min walk so not far to carry all that shopping back from the Outlet stores!!!

Great location!!
Great place to stay when in Waikiki!! Location is perfect!! Free parking and no resort fee is a win!!

Great location to all facilities, clean and tidy with easy instructions regarding self checking in.
We'd have no hesitations in recommending this room to fellow travelers.
Close to major amenities and major shopping complexes (Ala Moana) are within walking distance.
The Waikiki Hyatt was right opposite the Aqua so premiere shopping and restaurants are just across the road.
Easy to use public transport, recommend .....the trolley service, we purchased was the 7 trip tickets, well worth the buy.
Pearl Harbor, and the Wednesday and Saturday markets are a must, we were disappointed the international markets were been revamped at the time we were over there, oh well no guessing where we'll be staying when we go there again.....thanks Martin and Aqua Palms.
