Very clean and spacious. Great location. A little loud at night if you don't party til 3am. Beds were comfortable. Coffee pot not working correctly and Mike said he would bring a new one the day we checked in but it did not show up for 2 days. I messaged host several times and did not hear from him until I reached out to VRBO the day before we arrived. So check in was confusing. Also, I had to reach out to the host the day of check out to get instructions. Besides the host communication we really enjoyed our stay.

Entering the property feels quirky and torturous entering through one building then walking on a walkway on the roof to another building because “the elevator is out of order”. Very funky. Property manager Gerald was initially combative and eventually became accommodating and helpful. The condo is beautiful and spacious with all the comforts of home - though the wifi in the second unit was not operative and therefore no TV available. The location is superb - though because it overlooks Bourbon street we could hear the constant partying until early morning. But hey - it’s NOLA and that is expected!

The apartment was huge. We really enjoyed the location and the host was very helpful. Because it’s so close to the Quarter it is a little loud but we had no problem sleeping. We also enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. We will definitely stay here again.

This is a unit in an old building that has been unevenly renovated. The building front, on Bienville Street, is nicely done. But the unit is in the back, on Iberville Street. This back area is service by a dirty old service elevator with graffiti (a cup of piss was in it one day). Unit manager Gerald tries hard, but he doesn't control this gross exerior environment. But if you can put up with that as you come and go, it's a nice unit in the heart of the French Quarter. Note that signs everywhere say that short term rentals (VRBO) are illegal in the French Quarter, so you rent at your own risk.

This was a beautiful property with plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable. Location was within walking distance of all the fun of New Orleans. We enjoyed our stay so much!

Overall, good stay. Clean and comfortable.
There are several items that were broken or not working - hot water in master bath sink did not work, kitchen faucet didn’t have a handle, left bed stand light in master completely broken, both toilet paper holders in the bathrooms are broken. Shower liners were both moldy and should be replaced.
If you’re looking to be in the French quarter, this was close to everything. Very convenient, walked everywhere. That said, it’s also VERY LOUD in the evening but that comes with the location, nothing you can do about it. If that’s what you’re looking for, book it. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, search elsewhere.
Beds were comfy, bedding clean. K-cups provided as well, nice surprise. The private balcony over looks the roof top of the building and the courtyards to several bars. We enjoyed early morning coffee everyday out there.
Getting to the unit is interesting - you have to go through 5 doorways, an elevator ride and then a trek across the rooftop. If you have a lot of luggage, be prepared to take this journey slow.
Gerald was helpful with the initial check in, but AWOL thereafter. No major issues, but didn’t return texts, calls or emails.
Thank you for a nice stay. New Orleans treated us well.

The owner clearly went out of his way to be responsive and make everything right for us. The beds were comfy, tvs in every room, complete coffee set up and as i said in the title, a great big living room perfect for gathering ehen we just needed a little down time. Never made it to the pool but that would be nice on those hot days.

It was very confusing at first because the contact for this property does not give a very detailed explanation of how things work before you get there. So arrival and check in was confusing. Because of that here is a detailed explanation of how check in works.
This building has a parking garage attached that is 6ft8in clearance for vehicles. If that garage is too small there is another parking garage that fits larger vehicles right across the street that may or may not be available depending on any festivals going on.
The building uses a variety of different tools you need to access your room, you require a fob, a white key card, and 2 sets of keys to access various doors and your room depending on if your coming from the back or front entrance.
Cons of this apartment -
The building is infested with ants (literally had ants in the couch in our place) and most the time the elevator doesn’t work where your room is so you have to walk across the entire building and down 2 flights of stairs to access the other one.
Pros of this apartment -
Conveniently located. Almost everything inside the apartment worked (the Keurig did not). The contact for this property will meet you 24/7 to check you in and walk you through this complicated process, however he will not explain any of this until you arrive.

Communication wasn't the best, we didn't get wifi password until the second day, and there was no instructions on checkout or response to texts. elevator was down so we had to enter from another building, go up to the roof and cross on a Deck Bridge to get to the unit. The actual property Apartment was nice and great location. I would book again.

I can’t say enough good about the location, the decor, the cleanliness. Wonderful! But because the property does not have a digital door code and requires physical parking access cards and keys, the check in process is cumbersome and honestly, a little stressful. Once we got that settled, we had a lovely stay, and the check out process went more smoothly because by then we knew what we were doing.

2nd time in NO and best yet! We stayed in hotel first time and decided VRBO for this stay. This is the way to go. So close to Bourbon street but extremely quiet. Never would know you were that close. Place was amazing, a little weird to get to (cross the roof). I would not hesitate to stay here again. Loved it!

This is just half a block from Bourbon St., however the apartment is still quiet. It is very roomy with high ceilings. There is a small deck which is nice to sit out and have coffee. There is also a pool which I had not realized when booking it. The property manager Gerald was very helpful. You need to meet in person to check in because there is a key fob to open the door to the building, that you need to pick up. Two complete sets of keys were provided. The only very minor quibble I have is that the wifi information was not provided in the unit , but Gerald sent a copy immediately when requested. Perfect base for exploring the Quarter.

This condo was so nice. It was very modern and quite large for a condo in the French quarter. The location was perfect. It was close to everything. We felt completely safe. The property manager was amazing and helpful with any needs.

We visited for several birthdays. Gerald got us in the property which was beautiful. It's also an excellent location for exploring the French Quarter. I don't agree with some of these reviews that say you're far enough away from bourbon to not be bothered by the noise. It's more accurate to say Friday and Saturday night are gonna be noisy, but not unbearably so. The weekday nights Bourbon is not as crazy so you don't hear much. If it's your first time visiting NOLA, this is the place you want to get!

I just returned home from a stay at this property, and I can say, without any hesitation, that this is one of the most beautiful properties we could have stayed in! The pictures of the property simply cannot do it justice. It was thoroughly modern and clean, yet had a lot of historic touches that make it ideal for a unique stay in a unique city. The bedrooms are spacious and beautiful, and the beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in. I am pretty bummed about having to go back to my own lame bed tonight! The condo has a fantastic private balcony that is right off of a roof top deck. We saw a few people enter and exit the building from the rooftop deck, but it was pretty much our own private rooftop deck for the stay. The view from the balcony and rooftop provides the most amazing views of the cityscape and is a welcome spot to escape from the action for awhile, but still completely immersed in it from above. The location cannot be beat being just steps from Bourbon Street and convenient to everything in the French Quarter. Finally, I cannot say enough good things about the host, Gerald. He kept in touch with us before, and upon, arrival so we didn't have any of that uneasiness that comes with waiting for your host to provide a code for entry. He met us in person, walked us to the condo and even toted some ridiculously heavy suitcases up the stairs for us. Thanks for that Gerald! We had some questions come up during our stay and he responded immediately. Just a super nice guy with an excellent vacation rental. If this one is on your list, just stop looking and book it! I am so glad I did and I will definitely be back!
