About this house rental
Elk Meadow House is a private home that showcases Big Sky's beautiful mountain environment. This home is located in the Antler Ridge subdivision which is located just off Lone Mountain Trail, three miles above Big Sky's Meadow Village and another three up to the ski resort making it the perfect location summer or winter. Situated on over an acre with panoramic views this house offers beauty, privacy and convenience. We are on a well, our water is tested frequently and some of the cleanest water you will find. The vaulted ceilings, expansive windows, open floor plan and modern upscale kitchen are just a few of the features that make this a luxurious vacation home. 2,200 square feet with 3 bedrooms plus a small loft (can be used as an office area with a small desk, chair and printer) and 2.5 baths. The master suite has a king bed, two nightstands, gas fireplace, chaise lounge with reading lamp, large bathroom with double vanity and bidet toilet seat, flat screen smart tv with Roku and a walk in closet. The main living area has cathedral ceilings, expansive windows, a large L-shaped leather sofa, 2 arm chairs with ottomans, a smart flat screen tv and a gas fireplace. The gourmet kitchen features slab granite counters, a walk in pantry stocked with spices and a custom island. The dining table is next to the island with seating for 6 and two barstools at the bar and a main level powder room. Downstairs off the entrance there are two additional bedrooms each with one queen bed and 2 nightstands, full mirrored closets, a full bathroom with shower/tub and a laundry room. Due to the house being on a hill, both downstairs bedrooms have mountain views. The garage has 2 bays (fits one large SUV only due to storage areas) and offers plenty of room for skis/boots or bikes with additional street parking. We have 4 pairs snow shoes, poles and sleds for your winter enjoyment and a deck off the living room with an outdoor hot tub (new 2023), small portable grill, chaise lounge, adirondack chair and a table with 4 chairs (outdoor seating for 6). Please respect the fact our home is 100% non-smoking inside and out (including our land) and if you are a smoker, PLEASE find a different home other than ours. Please note require the signed rental agreement within 3 days to confirm booking or your reservation may be canceled. We had an incredible stay at Jamie and Bob’s house in Big Sky! From the moment we booked, their communication was impeccable. The home was perfect for my family and me, and it was wonderfully dog-friendly ~ our dog loved it just as much as we did. We drove all the way from the coast of North Carolina so we could bring our dog, and it was worth every mile.
The house itself is amazing ~ comfortable, spacious, and the beds are incredibly cozy with the softest sheets! The master suite is particularly outstanding. We loved having our morning coffee on the deck and relaxing in the hot tub. The kitchen was well-equipped and perfect for our needs.
The neighborhood is great, with stunning views and perfect proximity to both the Town Center and the Resort. We walked the neighborhood every day we were there! We saw quite the wildlife too (from the house), which was always fun!
We were so sad to leave and definitely wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to be back soon and would love to rent from Jamie and Bob again. Thanks for everything!

My partner and I decided to do a spontaneous trip to Big Sky for NYE. Luckily, last minute we found this incredible cabin. Jamie, the host, is absolutely fantastic. Some of the best communication I have ever had while booking any stay for a trip. She gave us some amazing recommendations on things to do, restaurants, and bars, as well as updating us during our trip on things that are happening in the area. The cabin is stunning. It’s in the perfect location in Big Sky. It made our trip extra special. We will definitely be back!

My family and I can't rave enough about Jamie, Bob, and their beautiful cabin. We spent the holidays in Big Sky and we're so happy that we stayed there. The house is beautiful, clean, and fully equipped, with plenty of room for the 7 of us and our dog. It is also centrally located between the town and the mountain. Jamie and Bob were very welcoming and communicative - it was everything we wanted for our family vacation!

This home was absolutely delightful. The western decor was present without being over the top. The bed was comfortable. We felt very homey and relaxed. We were dependent on car to get to the ski slopes but we knew that going in.

Best Ski Trip
Stay here with a couple friends and close to town and Big Ski so of the best skiing. After a long day of skiing the hot tub was amazing!

If you are planning activities in the Big Sky area this home is perfectly located. We did things in Big Sky and traveled to Yellowstone and Bozeman and everything is very accessible. The house is a really cool mountain home, you can stand by the back door to the deck and look in any direction and you can't see any other homes and it's a beautiful panoramic mountain view. Jamie is super friendly and helpful with tips for restaurants and activities in the area i.e. dog sledding, snowmobiling, skiing, sleigh rides and fly fishing, all of which we did and had a blast. We would definitely stay here again, you'll love it!

Thanksgiving in Big Sky
Outstanding experience! Great house - both beautiful and highly functional. Fully stocked pantry and garage with everything you need (cooking items and paper towels) and everything fun (snowshoes and sleds). Ideal location between town center and the ski mountain, very helpful and communicative hosts. Great neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Prime location, beautiful setting
This home is perfectly laid out and super convenient to town center + all skiing. Kitchen is well stocked and so nice to have laundry/attached garage. Antler Ridge neighborhood is lovely for walks with fantastic wildlife all around. Owners are so quick to respond to any questions and couldn’t have been more helpful. We highly recommend!

Overall our group had a wonderful stay at Antler Ridge and enjoyed our ski trip to Big Sky. The house is a wonderful property and has plenty of rooms for a larger group. The hot tub provided a much needed post skiing respite and the views of the mountains were stunning. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Wonderful property! We found this Antler Ridge home incredibly comfortable, quiet, and well equipped. Well-stocked kitchen and pantry were very welcoming. We experienced 2 feet of snow during our week stay and the snow-removal service was very prompt. Highly recommend!

White Christmas @ Big Sky
Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay @ Elk Meadow House, we arrived a few days before Christmas and were overwhelmed by the beauty of the landscape and the cozy, generously appointed home that is Elk Meadow House. Ideally located with just a short drive to both Big Sky resort for skiing and the town of Big Sky. This was perfect as we needed to plan a bit for our Christmas away from home!
The bedrooms are large and comfortable, and the heating of the house made it cozy without noise or difficulty in controlling the warmth. The layout is great for a family spending time together, with enough separation when needed and comfortable living, kitchen & dining area where everyone can be together. The holiday vacation was a great success and we'd recommend Big Sky and this home 100%. That said, there is a part of me that would like to keep this a secret :)

This home was a perfect 10 for our family celebrating Thanksgiving ! The kitchen had every gadget & amenity on par for a chef. WE enjoyed our family time together kicking back with a puzzle of Big Sky and a round of scrabble. The hot tub was divine ! WE could not ask for another gift. Everything at our fingertips. Skiing, Recommendations for Dining. We enjoyed every moment in this beautiful home surrounded by peace and tranquility ! Grateful for the gracious owners Jamie & Robert...It was a hit for our family, 5 Star Professional, We'll be back again next year !

Three weeks in paradise!!
Jamie and Bob's Elk Meadow House was perfect for our 3 week vacation in Big Sky and matched the VRBO description exactly.. Located in Antler Ridge, it was close to the Big Sky town center, but not too close. It was very peaceful, quiet and private, with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountain scenery. It is within close proximity to several great hiking trails that we took full advantage of, plus the expedition to the top of Lone Peak with some phenomenal 360 degrees views. The home itself was very well appointed with all of the dishes, appliances, spices, etc. that we needed. We loved the gourmet kitchen with the granite counters and custom island, cooking the majority of our meals there rather than eating out.. And every morning we took full advantage of the DeLonghi Espresso Machine. In addition, the home was very tastefully furnished and decorated - we loved the artwork that adored the house. The upstairs master suite served as a private oasis with its gas fireplace, chaise lounge with reading lamp, flat screen TV and extremely comfortable king bed. Jamie and Bob were excellent to deal with through the entire renting process, and very responsive to our every need. As an example, after we notified them that the internet had stopped working, the next day a technician from 3 Rivers Communications was there to replace the modem and router. Overall we could have been happier with the house, location and our hosts - Jamie and Bob. We look forward to our next visit to Big Sky.
