You will not find anything like this. These are two spectacular 4 bedroom houses on the same property. Lakefront on Lake Harmony, with the cottage being about 30 feet in front of the larger house. They are rented together. Both have several large flat screen smart TV's, hot tubs (indoor in the larger house, the cottage has one outdoor), AC, outdoor fire pit, wireless, cable, wood burning fireplace in the larger house and gas fireplace in the cottage.
Larger house has a pool table, Galaga 60 game arcade, Marvel Digital Pinball, and jacuzzi in the master bedroom. There are two docks and a deck on beautiful Lake Harmony, and they are about a 5 minute walk to popular restaurants and night spots. The property is minutes from Jack Frost and Big Boulder, and Split Rock Resort.
As for the beds in the larger house, the master on top level has a king, the loft area with a single, two bedrooms on the main level, each with a queen and bunk bed (one bunk bed has a full on the bottom), the bedroom on the game room level has 1 single and one day bed with a trundle (so sleeps 3).
In the cottage two bedrooms have queens, one room with 2 singles and one bedroom with one bunk bed and one single (so will sleep 3).
The kitchens are perfect for cooking for large families or groups, including breakfast bars with seating for 3 at each house, and have a stove, oven & microwave. The kitchens are fully equipped with all the tools you need prepare great meals for your family and friends. Off of the kitchens in each house are the dining room areas that have a dining room table. Cottage can seat up to 10, and larger main house dining table seats up to 8. Each house also has additional counter seating.
Property is located about 1 mile from Big Boulder, 4 miles from Jack Frost and 2 miles from the H20 indoor water park and the Galleria at Split Rock.
Minutes from numerous activities such as horseback riding, paintball, hiking, white water rafting, fishing, hunting, mountain biking, shopping, and golf.
Lake Harmony is located 90 miles from NYC & Philadelphia, and is a private powerboat lake that permits fishing, power boating (If you are bringing your boat, please call owner for a copy of the registration form), water skiing, sailing and jet skiing (there are no jet ski rentals).
Shopping outlets, Hickory Run State Park, Jim Thorpe (a city steeped in history) all within 30 minutes of house.

Minimum rental is usually 2 nights and if you want to rent a Friday or Sat night, the full weekend rate applies to the second night whether it is a Thurs or a Sunday. Stayed for Labor Day weekend as a group of 13 of us and had a great time! The rooms were spacious and there was plenty of space for all of us. The hosts were very quick to respond with any questions we had which was greatly appreciated. Having the lake on the property was everything we had hoped for. Beautiful views! We were also walking distance to the restaurants on the lake which we also took advantage of. Definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing and spacious trip on the lake. We're already planning on coming back next year!

Stayed here with a big group of guys, the house is great for a large group. Perfect location, plenty of beds, highly recommend. Just note they don't supply any sheets for the 18 beds, I bought cheap ones at Walmart so nbd

We had an amazing week staying on Lake Harmony. Our property included everything we needed for a great week and was well stocked, with things to do to keep all ages occupied. Would definitely recommend this property to others. Communication with the owner was easy as well. Overall great experience.

Great place for multigenerational vacation. Quite comfortable for children and pets. Plenty of things to do lakeside and in the house. We love the beach but found some definite advantages to lake life.( No sand!) We have become lake people!

Our large family had a wonderful stay! We pretty lived outside on the dock and in the water. There were lots of chairs and tables to accommodate our crew. We really enjoyed the lake cottage, it made hanging out by the lake all day super easy. The hosts were super responsive to our requests!

It was great staying at the houses…having the lakefront cottage as well as the Main house was fantastic! We were able to golf, fish and even swim in the lake in early June! We had a great time…Barry and Skylar’s communication was fantastic!

My family was extremely satisfied with this property for our quick family getaway. Gorgeous view overlooking the lake, and very close to Big Boulder slopes where we went skiing. We also enjoyed using the fire pit and roasting marshmallows. The two hot tubs, one outside overlooking the lake and the other inside, was an added bonus. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating as well. We had a great time and I would highly recommend this property.

The property was perfect for our group of 14 (12 adults/2 children). We have always gathered in NYC the first weekend of December to see Santa and celebrate the holiday season, but this year decided to try something new....a weekend in the Poconos. Having a property with a main house and cottage fit our needs since the group also included a small dog which stayed in the Cottage, separate from a family member with allergies who stayed in the Main House. The spaces in the house are warm and cozy especially with the wood burning fireplace going. The lower level is a bit chilly, but a provided heater solved the problem.. The kitchen is equipped with cookware and serveware. The beds were comfortable. The owner is very easy to work with and responds to all questions quickly. The main house family room allowed the family to be together for meals and hanging out. The location is perfect...under 30 minutes from Jim Thorpe where we took the Santa Train and 30 minutest to Great Wolf Lodge for a day at the waterpark. Some of the group found some wonderful places to hike. The view of the lake is spectacular.

The photos of the property on VRBO made us believe it was as a relatively new construction, hi-end given the cost , which met our needs in terms of numbers and location for a family reunion. Upon arrival we struck by the condition of both the house and the grounds- the house and cottage much older and the grounds looking unkempt. The stairs between the houses are hazardous, necessitating concern and care especially with older adults and children. While the place was surface clean and the furniture comfortable, the appliances were old and in some cases not working, the hot pads filthy and many things showing age, like missing screens , old poorly- coated aluminum cookware and faded bed covers ( we had to bring our own sheets or pay for a service in addition to our rental fee) . We did our best and enjoyed our time together but unfortunately would not recommend this to anyone. I hope the owners will consider razing the place and rebuilding- it’s a nice spot.

We were 5 families totaling 10 adults and 10 kids and were happy with the amount of room the two houses provided. The houses have direct access to the lake and the dock area has plenty of room to lounge.
We would definitely recommend this place for large groups that are looking for a relaxing time on Lake Harmony.

We stayed at this property for a family reunion - 16 people ages 1 year to 95 years young. The two houses had plenty of room for all of us, and we totally enjoyed using the outdoor areas like the decks and the docks. Barry is a great host and was quick to resolve any issues we had and was very helpful throughout our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchens stocked with pretty much anything you might need to do all your cooking for meals right there, which we did. We did not use the linen service, and that worked just fine for us. It is shallow right off the docks, and that worked great for the younger kids to be able to swim between them in a protected area. I would not hesitate to rent this property again.

We rented this property to celebrate my mother in law’s 89 birthday. There were 18 of us so the 2 homes were perfect. The property is in a great location right on the lake. We spent a lot of time on the big deck, which was especially nice for viewing the sunsets. We had a fire in the fire pit every night which was wonderful. We will definitely be coming back and would rent this property again.

The two properties in this listing were perfect for a work retreat that included skiing/snowboarding at nearby mountains. We had 20 people sleep comfortably across the two houses (sharing the queen and king beds) with 1-2 twin beds to spare. The main house has the majority of the communal space and activities (games, pool table, hot tub, grill, patio). The cottage closer to the lake is smaller than the main house, but it has a real warmth to it.
It was a quick five minute drive from Big Boulder Mountain and less than a half an hour to Camelback Mountain, which gave us options for our ski trip. There was ample parking space for our four SUVs. The houses themselves had all of the common spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen amenities that we needed (with the exception of having to rent bed linens separately). The owner Barry was incredibly helpful to us in connecting us with a company to rent linens (very reasonable pricing for an add-on), giving us advice on how to use the fireplace, grills, hot tubs, etc., and referring us to restaurants/markets in the local area. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this property and would consider renting again!

We rented this Lake front property for the first time last weekend and loved it. Great layout with both houses having view of Lake and nice cozy feel . Have been coming to Pocono’s for years as a large group (12) and always hard to find place large enough and reasonable — looks like we found our place now! Owner checked in with us several times to see if we needed anything and to ensure enjoying area . Love the place — big enough with bedroom and kitchen accommodations but just right size for everyone to hang out together in main house . We stayed for 4 nights for a family reunion. The location was central to where most family members were -- Cincinnati, DC, Princeton, Maine -- and the drive was relatively easy. Some family members did have to fly, but it was easy to fly into Newark and drive a rental car from there. I am always worried about how stocked the kitchens are in VRBO homes, but these had everything. I brought my own crock pot, but there was actually one already there! We were around 20 people and cooked one large meal every night. There were plenty of dishes, pots, pans, spoons, etc. Many of us took daily hikes in Hickory Run State Park; AllTrails.com has the hikes mapped out pretty well. We also really enjoyed boating and floating on the lake, watching the ducks and fish, and playing games in the house. We had a great time.

I found this rental for this summer's family vacation (there were 17 of us) and we had a blast. It was so nice to be right on the lake and a few minutes walk from restaurants, bars, and other small establishments. Barry (the owner) was prompt on answering questions, from prebooking to during our stay there. It was a pleasure doing business with him.
If you're staying in the cottage, be prepared to use data. The wi-fi is set up in the larger home and the extender did not send the signal to the cottage. If we had to do work, emails, or anything with uninterrupted service, we went to the larger house to do it. Also the AC in the cottage are 2 window units, one downstairs in the dining area and one in the upstairs hallway window, none in the bedrooms. Box fans were provided, as not all rooms have a ceiling fan. So if you're starting in the cottage and like to sleep with the doors closed, bring a small table fan to put in the windows to pull outside air in and one of the box fans to circulate it around. The AC and ceiling fans in the large house seemed sufficient to cool the whole place, regardless of doors being shut at night.
Overall, had a fantastic time at Lake Harmony and Barry's property. 😊

This property exceeded our expectations for our extended family vacation. We had plenty of space to mingle around the docks during the day or around the fire pit and night. The dual-house setup allows you to get little ones to sleep at night in one house while adults can get together in the other house without a fear of waking them.
Very ideal setting. Lake Harmony is great with a few very nice restaurants/breakfast stops within walking distance. We really enjoyed our time here!

This house was perfect for our group of 16 adults. We each had our own bed. We grilled and had a great meal and there was plenty of room to spread out. We played pool and enjoyed the hot tubs. Great weekend getaway and this place was perfect. Barry is great to work with. Highly recommend.

We had a group of 12 adults, and the set-up of the houses was perfect, with plenty of room for dining, relaxing, and the outdoor space was perfect for playing corn hole and ladder ball, board games...we even went to the local park just a few minutes away and played croquet and bocci! The lake is spectactular! We kayaked, floated on tubes, and took a banana boat ride from Yeti Sports, which was super fun! We "hiked" in the Hickory Run State Park to Hawk Falls, which was just gorgeous! All in all, it was the perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying quiet time together. A nearby establishment (Nick's) was excellent for lunch or dinner out and drinks, right on the water. Having two houses, lots of decking, and essentially 3 living areas with televisions allowed people enough places to be together, but enough space to "get away" and have a little alone time if desired. Barry (the owner) was INCREDIBLY responsive to our requests...he must live with his phone in his hand!! We hope to visit this very special place again, as it was a vacation for the memory banks!

House is perfect for a large groups. It has tons of space between the two. It’s right on the lake and walking distance to bars/restaurants and other activities. Couldn’t be happier with our golf trip getaway and will 100% rent again.
