About this house rental

Enjoy a beautiful spacious 5 bedroom 3.5 bath home in a quiet wooded setting overlooking the Magothy River. The home includes two master suites: one on the main floor and one on the second floor. The second floor master suite has a jacuzzi tub and opens onto a second floor deck. Three other large bedrooms are on the second floor with one also opening to the second floor deck. Classic hardwood floors lead to carpeted bedrooms. A stone fireplace graces the living room and dining room which span the whole waterfront side of the house. French doors off the living room and dining room open out to a large screened in porch that is another room onto itself with indoor/outdoor carpeting, ceiling fans, a picnic table and outdoor furniture. With the porch doors open, the breeze off the river can be felt throughout the house. However, there is air conditioning for really hot days. Tastefully decorated with warm bright colors, overstuffed furniture, a dining room table that seats 10, an eat-in kitchen, comfortable rooms and an exceptional layout make this home particularly inviting. There are water views from virtually every room.
We enjoy many returning guests. The house has become a home away from home for those who visit the area frequently.

Enjoy swimming, boating, sailing, kayaking, crabbing, fishing or just the beautiful views. With Annapolis, Baltimore and Washington D.C. all close by, there is so much to see and do.

This house was perfect for my husband and I and our adult children with their significant others. The screened in porch was fun to hang out on Access to the river was awesome. A rookery of blue herons just across the cove. Great big family vacation spot. We would definitely rebook.

Issues with ants in the kitchen upon arrival, 2 of the 3 TV's on the property did not work, and the one that did work only had streaming, unable to get local over the air channels. Welcome book did not have a lot of detailed information about the property. Of the VRBO properties we have used in the past, this property was not worth the price. Granted it was at a peek time in Annapolis, MD for commissioning week at the Naval Academy, but still it was not worth amount we paid.

The house was perfect for our family of 3 generations staying the weekend for a wedding. Beautiful views over looking the water, a ground floor master bedroom for my parents, 2 rooms upstairs for adults and 2 for kids. Highly recommend!

Our family of 10 had a great weekend at this home. It is spacious, clean, well stocked with supplies, a fire pit that overlooks the water.... We spent most of our time by the water or on the screened in porch. The hosts are friendly and generous. Hope to visit again.

2nd year at this property. Really enjoyed the stay- spacious for a larger group. Love the screened in porch and view of the water. Comfortable beds and clean. Suggest bringing outdoor chairs if larger group wants to enjoy fire pit. Owner very responsive. Great place!

Lots of space as we could all have our own bedrooms. Loved the back porch and backyard area. Peaceful and pretty water views. Close to Annapolis. Get up for the sunrises! Owners were responsive to inquires . I would want to stay there again. We all wish we could have stayed longer!

The house was great. The layout was very good for our friend group. I loved the screened in porch. The water was great for swimming and floating about. We rented paddleboards which was a lot of fun. Only downsides were the area around the fire pit was a little tight for a group of 9 and we ran into a few jellyfish. Otherwise perfect location and the owners were so helpful in making our stay better.

Perfect home for our family to have intentional time together. We were able to take 2 adult children, their spouses and their families. Everyone had their own sleeping space and bathroom. The back porch was perfect for this Nan and Pap to have coffee along the water in the morning before anyone else was up. Evenings were filled with and food and laughter with no bugs thanks to the screened in porch. Easy day trips to Annapolis and Baltimore with lots of things to do.

8 of us rented this property to attend a wedding. Plenty of room for the 8 of us. Enjoyed our short visit to Annapolis and sitting in the screened in porch. We also enjoyed just sitting in the yard looking at the beautiful water and properties. Could have used a couple more lawn chairs is all. Everything was wonderful.

My son is in the Naval Academy. We rented this for his parents weekend which didn’t happen last October due to the pandemic. These owners were amazing to work with and we rescheduled for our spring break. It is perfect perfect perfect. It is about a ten mile easy drive to get to the academy. The house is spotless, exactly as pictured, on the water and has everything we needed. We have booked it for his 2022 commissioning and can’t wait to return.

This place was just what we needed! Cleaned and sanitary, we were not worried about COVID-19. The location is in a neighborhood but feels secluded and is super relaxing. The hosts went above and beyond to be flexible with our group and all our needs. The water is gorgeous and relaxing and the kitchen had everything we needed.

This was just perfect for my husbands parents, and siblings and their spouses for a weekend get-away to honor our parents 50th anniversary. The house is beautiful as well as the setting looking out over the water, and met our needs wonderfully. The men went on a charter fishing trip Saturday morning while we ladies shopped downtown Annapolis and also the Amish Market. It would have been nice to spend one more day here just to enjoy the house itself. Upon arriving it's just a wee bit difficult to figure out how to get to the house simply because you can't quite see it from the road. It's a shared driveway, and you simply have to turn in where the mailbox is marked with the house number, and continue on back the lane.Thanks SO MUCH Michele and Shelly

It was lovely, inside and out. Well-equipped kitchen, large bedrooms, private yard and just a short walk down to the dock. It was the perfect half-way (ish) point to meet my sons for a nice relaxing visit.

The house was perfect for a large family getaway. There is many convenient stores, restaurants, and attractions near by. Our itinerary included sandy point state park, Annapolis downtown, bushel as Joe’s Seafood, and a full day just hanging out at the house: Kayaking, fishing, crabbing and campfire. It’s really relaxing. Thank you for letting us stay and build amazing memories at your beautiful home.

This house is gorgeous with spacious bedrooms and living space. Enjoyed meeting and talking with the owners who live in the adjacent property. The river is beautiful and clean. I brought my own kayak and did a lot of fishing. Caught many white perch and a few Pickerel.
