Great views of the ocean and the ridges overlooking the calanques. A 10 minute walk to Plage de Bestouan and also into town. A bit of a climb back to the apartment, but the perch is well worth it. The apartment is very comfortable and has good natural light. Lovely manager made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed.

Christine the manager and the patio overlooking the sea were the highlights of this property. Christine went above and beyond to help us navigate our 5 day stay in Cassis. We will miss her beautiful smile and beautiful spirit.
Everything was clean and bright as the site said it would be.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cassis and the apartment was fantastic. Easy bus connections from the train station and close proximity to the beaches and trails in Parc national des Calanques makes the location perfect for people without a car. This apartment is perfect for a visit to Cassis.

We loved our stay at this great apartment. The property manager Lucile was fantastic! she made us feel welcome and showed how everything worked in the apartment. We loved the balcony and the view of the mediterranean sea and the Cap Canaille. The bed was comfortable the kitchen was well equipped and it was great to have a washing machine! It was an easy walk to town and the local beach, only one big hill and your there. The elevator was a huge plus!

We had a wonderful stay here in Cassis. We loved the apartment and it is exactly like the pictures. The French doors from the living room and bedroom to the balcony were wonderful for both amazing views and fresh air. The location was perfect for us. It is an easy walk to the main part of Cassis, to Plage Bestouan, and the entrance to the Calanques National Park. Christine was a great host and was easily available if we needed anything, which we didn’t because the apartment was well equipped! Check in and out went smoothly. We can’t wait to go back and highly recommend this apartment.

We had a good experience with this place, but you should have expectations in line with staying in a French apartment. No air conditioner, not much linen provided (honestly could stand to buy new towels and sheets), no coffee. The apartment manager was kind enough to meet us on arrival, and to provide toilet paper which we ran out of (only 1 roll in the place). It is a steep walk up from the harbor, but that is all of lovely Cassis. Parking is available.

This apartment fully met our expectations in terms of facilities and the view! It was very clean, a good size, and well-equipped. The balcony and view are beautiful, and it is a 5-10 min walk down into town/the port. Cassis is a great little village that with many great restaurants, some wineries and hiking around he Calanques. We also did day trips through Cannes/St. Tropez and some hilltop Provençal villages. Jean-Pierre’s apartment was a great homebase for us to explore Provence as well as relax and enjoy Cassis!

We just returned from a 10 day stay in this lovely apartment in Cassis. The view is truly spectacular. It was a delight to wake up every morning to breakfast on the terrace with such a view. Cassis is very hilly and the apartment is pretty high up so you should be aware of this if
walking uphill is a problem. My husband and I are in our 60's and in fairly good shape so we felt the walk back and forth to the the center of town was good exercise. Cassis is a very picturesque fishing village and the center of town is about a 10 minute walk with many restaurants and shops and lots of activity. There are 2 beaches which are also about a 10 minute walk from the apartment.
Jean-Pierre was very helpful in answering all our questions and responded quickly to our
e-mails. The apartment manager Mme.Annie was waiting for us at the apartment when we arrived to give us the keys and to show us the apartment. The outside of the building does look a little dated but not terrible. The inside of the apartment was clean and updated and had everything we needed to feel very comfortable.
The tourist information center in town was very helpful. They have maps and information on everything in the area. The young people who worked there all spoke English and were very helpful to us. With my basic knowledge of French and the locals understanding of English we were able to make ourselves understood wherever we went. Definitely try to get to see the beautiful Calanques either by boat or by hiking. We did both and enjoyed it. We only walked to Port Pin and I would say it is moderately difficult but the views are amazing.
We had a car and drove one day to Aix-En-Provence and one day to Arles which are both good one day excursions. The highways are great although driving around the town of Cassis is not for the faint of heart. Until we got the hang of it with our Google phone app it was a little unnerving.
In any case I am still basking in the afterglow of this wonderful time in the south of France.

This was our first visit to Cassis and when we arrived at the apartment we were a bit worried because the outside of the building has some deferred maintenance issues. As soon as the door opened, however, we knew we had made a good choice. The apartment is exactly as it is portrayed in the pictures. It is clean, comfortable, and has an amazing sweeping view of Cap Canaille and the Mediterranean. The walk into town is only about ten minutes (about 15 back as it is uphill!). We had everything we needed and made meals in the apartment using the utensils and cookware provided. We appreciated having a convenient parking space although we walked almost everywhere and only used the car once. We had the added benefit of 70 degree weather at the beginning of November (I know they can't guarantee that!). We would love to return to Cassis and will definitely try to stay at this apartment again. The apartment manager greeted us and showed us around, and the owner was available by telephone to answer questions. The apartment building itself is visible from the village, perched high on the hill and commanding its fabulous view! Both a large and small grocery store are within easy walking distance as well. Thank you for a wonderful experience to help me celebrate my 60th birthday!

My husband and I recently returned from a week long stay at this Cassis apartment. The view is breathtaking! We used this apartment as a hub for taking day trips and it worked out perfectly for the two of us. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. If you are a television watcher, there are many French channels but limited English language ( CNN, BBC, MSNBC). Ms.Anne who is the manager of this apartment was helpful, but limited English, however, helped us with the questions we did have. The owner is also very helpful and "just a phone call away"! We enjoyed the markets in Cassis and there also is a grocery store in the area but not within walking distance if carrying many parcels/bags. Waking up every morning to the view of Cap Canille was such a gift!

We stayed in this apartment for two weeks and found it to be very comfortable, modern and ideally located to the ports. The kitchen is suitably stocked with dishes, flatware, and tools. The bedroom is fairly spacious and has a large closet for luggage and clothes. Our stay was during July and even though there is no air conditioning, being on the 5th floor (there is elevator access) ensures a nice breeze through open windows and/or doors. The view from the balcony is stupendous but the balcony is small - comfortable for two. There is a clothes washer but no dryer; the apartment does have a communal laundry line outside on the property, though. A vehicle is preferable as the grocery store is not close and the climb is steep! Parking is limited and difficult during the summer. We found parking on the streets surrounding the building. The ports/beaches are a 10 minute walk downhill and slightly longer for the return (uphill!). This apartment is better suited to two guests rather than three or four, even though there is a pull-out sofa. The apartment building lobby appears to have no lighting after dark making it unsafe and difficult to navigate through to reach the elevator, however.Michael & Catherine HicksAlberta, CanadaJuly 2016

Fantastic sea view and good apartment
This apartment is well situated for staying in Cassis. It is walking distance to Cassis Marina and to a couple of local beaches. The apartment is very well equipped and has everything you need. We stayed in July and found the apartment hot as it does not have air conditioning but there is a fan which made the apartment bearable. The walk down to the beach was a very steep hill but it was not a problem to us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would certainly stay again.

Our fantastis 11 days at Cassis
My wife and I enjoyed our stay here and would return. Great well equipped kitchen.
Good parking at the rear, no extra cost. Walk to the beach and village center.
It was central enough that we could drive to LA Coitat in 15 min. where there is another great beach. Aix en Provence is only 40 min away and a fantastic place to shop, eat and enjoy.
We took a day trip to Arms to see the old Roman coliseum and also saw St Remey de Provence plus the old Roman, Baux en Provence.
A clean and well appointed unit. Loved the whole French experience.

Lovely little quiet apartment with beautiful views
My husband and I had a week here at the beginning of August 2014. We came to love the quiet of the location and sitting on the small balcony late in the day to see the fantastic views. It definitely had everything we needed and a great kitchen for cooking. It is only small and although suitable for a couple I felt would be too small if you had anyone sleeping in the lounge area. The balcony is also only tiny and really only enough room for 2 people. However given that August is the busiest month at Cassis we really appreciated being away from the main harbour and we also had wonderful afternoon breezes which you wouldn't have got downtown. A note also that the shower is a little awkward as you have to step up into it and would be difficult for anyone not fit or of a bigger build. All in all a great stay and we would be happy to recommend to others. There is parking at the back of the building but its at a premium in August and we had to do a bit of car shuffling a number of times to get a park as soon as someone moved. Be prepared to walk in Cassis and although its not far you do have an uphill walk from the beach and the restaurants back to the apartment.

An ideal apartment
We very much enjoyed staying here, the apartment is very comfortable and the view of the sunset magnificent. Walking up the hill to the apartment justifies all the baquettes and wine. It is very convenient for walking the calanques. The apartment building looks quite run down from the outside but the apartment itself is very comfortable, clean and well managed. Cassis is a vibrant little town with much to see and do. We had a meal at villa Madie restaurant which was expensive but superb. Would certainly return here if we are again in cassis. Also having parking is a great benefit in cassis.

Just perfect
I was looking for a quiet and comfortable apartment with a view that was far enough away from the bustle of the village but close enough to get to when I was ready for it; a perfect hide-out. A walk to the port down the hill was a mere 10 (maybe 15) minutes ... who tracks time with views like this? The walk from the house to the Calanques longer but again, my goodness, the views! Jean-Pierre was very easy to work with, responsive and flexible. Thanks ... just perfect.

Breathtaking View!
My husband, our son and I stayed at the apartment in Cassis the first week of July this past summer. Our stay in Cassis was the highlight of our trip to Europe! The view from the apartment's balcony is breathtaking. The first time we walked into the apartment and saw the view, we all couldn't believe how lucky we were to have found the apartment. The apartment is very nice; it is clean and updated with beautiful wood flooring. The kitchen is well organized and had everything we needed. The outside of the apartment building needs a paint job, but hopefully that has already been completed.
We enjoyed the village of Cassis with all the wonderful restaurants. Our favorites were the Napolean and the Sol. We hiked to the calanques, which was a bit strenuous, but well worth it. They are beautiful! We visited the outdoor market, which has an amazing display of fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, jewlery, clothing, etc.
The apartment's manager was very helpful. She picked us up at the train station and dropped us off there at the end of our stay. She is very pleasant. We appreciated the fact that she speaks English.
We would highly recommend staying at this apartment in Cassis.

A wonderful week in Cassis
We can nothing but recommend this apartment for rental.
Renting the apartment was an easy thing to do, as the owner was responding within 24 hours on our e-mails. Upon our arrival, we were immediately welcomed by a friendly lady, showing us around the apartment and handing out the keys. The interior is in a very good condition and well maintained, everything was neatly cleaned. The Wifi connection worked perfectly throughout our stay.
The small balcony gives enough room for 2 people to have dinner or breakfast, and at the same time it offers a tremendous view on the surrounding - cap Canaille and the Calanques.
The roads in Cassis are partially quite steep, but if you are of average condition, you can manage everything by foot easily. To get into the city center, it takes approximately 10 minutes by foot, but there you are able to find everything you need - from bakeries, supermarkets to many fancy restaurants along the harbor.
Should we ever decide to come back to Cassis in the future, there will be no doubt that we will rent the same apartment again!

Unforgettably stunning view of Cap Canaille and the sea
My husband and I spent four glorious days in this lovely little apartment overlooking the sea. It is a perfect location (about 5-6 minute descent to the port). We had our breakfasts daily in the cheerful dinette, and we took many pictures from the lovely terrace overlooking the Cap.
The whole rental process went smoothly, and the description and photos on this site are exactly the way it is.
We ate in different spots each night, and we would recommend La Vieille Auberge and the César.
The natives are friendly and fun, and the view from each café or restaurant is breathtaking.
I have traveled widely in France for many years, and this is absolute Paradise.

View, view, view
We really enjoyed our week in this beautiful appartment in Cassis. You can reach the city centre (with shops, restaurant, the market, the boats...) and the beach by foot and don't need a car. The appartment is well equipped, everything was clean. The house is not really beautiful from outside (a five floor appartment building which would be worthy of a coat of paint) but the appartment is really nice. And the view is magnificent. Rent it, sit on the balcony, enjoy the sea, the local food, the Calanques and everything else in this relaxed part of the Côte d’Azur.

Family stay in Cassis
We stayed at the apartment in early September with two adults and two kids (aged under 10). We found the apartment to be just as described, clean and wonderfully located. The view is indeed breathtaking!
Our grand plans to spend the week driving around Provence had to be downsized as all the kids wanted to do was spend the day at the beach, which is about a ten minute walk from the flat (note: slightly longer on the way back: uphill all the way to the apartment, but that is how the flat gets that wonderful view!).
We also had excellent help and advice from the apartment manager. She was very professional and very prompt in dealing with our queries.
We would highly recommend this flat and hope to return one day. The only warning is that Cassis is not flat, so be prepared to climb stairs!!
