Nothing SCAM BOOKING
Would not recommend, very unproffesional staff and the person who owns the acct of booking.com is from abroad, poor communication with local staff.
We booked and paid online but upon calling the staff a day before our booking she said the owner doesnt inform them of our booking, so we are forced to cancel with charges.
We request the owner to cancel without charges but he did not approved it
SCAM!

The place was 5 minutes walk to the shore, it also have 2 nearby restaurants, and kitchen which you can cook. The caretaker was so nice and easy to talk to.
The AC was not working well, it was hot the entire stay, the shower room drainage was smelly, and the water in the shower is brown.

Nothing since the area looks like very dull
The location itself. Especially the bathroom has no hot shower. Its totally different on the description of what i have booked for.

staff attentiveness and eagerness to help

The best location in blue lagoon and the room was way better than the rest that we've seen. The clean white sheets and pillowcases gave it a 5star hotel feel. The ref and free use of the bbq grill were a sure plus. Helpful staff. They made a way for us when we decided to extend our stay.
The lavatory was leaking. There was also a small shack with a pile of wood close to the door which made the area look shabby which can turn off other travelers.

l Great position less than minute to beach
Staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful!
I am always very reluctant to give negative feedback as I know how difficult the hospitality industry is, especially during Covid! So I was inititially minded not to be to critical.
Sadly i just cannot rate Buena Vista Beach Resort very highly
Initially Pagudpud was very quiet indeed we were only guests at the hotel. I assumed they had had a very tough time due to Covid! Consequently i was prepared to be a touch more sympathetic with criticism. However it was later full up. So I do not think I can look past the shortcommings. Furniture old and tired, drcoration tatty, poorly finished. No window in bathroom just packing paper and tape! Tiolet and bathroom not exactly dirty but dingy and uninviting. To sum up the whole place seemed shappy neglected and dilapidated. The only saving grace was the staff wbo were excellent. Ifeel it was probably 50 % overpriced as it really only offered only bunk house facilities.

We liked everything except those bunch of junk infront of our rooms. But overall, satisfied kami 😊

Nothing to like about this place.
The entire property is ugly and untidy.

Nothing. Nothing.and nothing
The place was way overpriced. 3500 pesos per night for a place that should have been about 500. Photos completely misrepresented the beach and accommodation. There was a large retaining wall construction project directly in front of the resort so beach access was not good. Rooms were clean but grounds were filthy. Food available that was pictured in add was non-existent. The resort had many permanent residents who were clearly not guests. All and all l got ripped off. Booked for three nights and Left after 1. Didn't even care about any refund, it was that bad.
