Met up with out of state family at this cute accommodation, 6 adults. House was clean and well stocked with linens, & cooking utensils. Very convenient, walking distance to shoppes, restaurants and the beach! CVS across the street, BP gas station 2 blocks away yet very little traffic noise. Worthy of 5 stars⭐️

Early Bird!
We loved this cute house right off Main Street. We learned quickly that it’s a great idea to rent a golf cart to zip around town instead of driving. Because the location was right “downtown”, there was a lot of early action….trash trucks, supply trucks and lawn mowing. If you have kids, this is the place! Lots of twin beds. Would highly recommend!

Great location and super comfy
Small and quaint house but great distribution of space and very comfy.
Five single beds on top floor, queen and day bed on bottom floor that sleep two each. You can fit 9 people ver comfortably. The kitchen is a nice size and fully equipped and the dinning table is round which is perfect for great conversation. We had a wonderful time at the property and it’s location can’t be beat with walking distance to the famous cafe Max and shopping.
Draw backs: no closets or place to hang clothes. Only One bathroom which can be tricky with a large group. However, an easy fix would be to privatize the shower doors and then you could have five people using the bathroom at once.
My friends and I will definitely go back!

Perfect stay
What a lovely place, nicely located, decorated and super clean. We had a great stay! A slight issue arose that the owner, Susan, (who by the way was out of the country on vacation at the time) was very prompt and helpful to address the issue and in no time, our issue was no more and our relaxing stay was uninterrupted. Worth every penny, we'll be back!

Nice House Close to Downtown!
We stayed there parents weekend of 2021 visiting sons at the academy. The house was exceptionally clean and appointed with just about every essential item one would need. Location is walking distance to downtown restaurants, shopping and beach park, the academy is a short 5 minute (or less) drive. Thanks so much for allowing us to utilize your house!

Great Lake get away for the family
This property was extremely clean and well maintained on the inside. The space was nice and actually had 8 beds that slept 9 people. The bathroom was amazing. It was nice to have doors on the toilet and shower so the rest of the room could still be in use. Our stay was extremely comfortable and enjoyable. There was close easy access to the lake and downtown areas and restaurants. It allowed for great walks and bike rides. The kitchen made it easy to cook meal from home.
There was a slight leak in the skylight over the toilet when it rained one night. The back door does not close properly without much force. We did not realize this and my 2 yr old escaped and walked outside unnoticed because of this. The outside of the house does need some TLC as some of the siding is missing. It would have been nice if there was a driveway to park in. The upstairs bedroomS we a great size and very comfortable, but even with the AC vents, they did not cool down well. The price was great and my family had a wonderful time! I would absolutely rent from her again!

Cool place
Only one bathroom for 5 -9 people (number of occupants). The bathroom is huge! The living room seats 4 comfortably. Only one tv and no closets. It is right off the square, close to lake max. Really clean.

First time in Culver!
My friends and I were in town for a wedding. This cozy home was affordable and in a great location, right off Main St. There is a bedroom on the main floor with a full size bed and a full size bed with a trundle underneath in the entryway/nook. On the second floor, there are 2 twin beds in a loft and 3 more in a room just next to the loft. If you're counting, that's 9 places to sleep! We only had 5 so we were able to pick and choose where we wanted to sleep which was nice. When we arrived (end of September), the house was rather warm, so we made sure to turn on the air. The second floor is harder to cool down and the second room does not have an air vent, but the loft does. We were able to close the bedroom door so those sleeping in the loft were cool. So, if you are using all the beds, I would suggest bringing a fan in the summer months. As far as only having one bathroom, the nice thing is that the bathroom is a HUGE room with 2 vanities, a toilet closet, and a shower closet. So, even though there is only one bathroom, it can still be utilized by multiple people at the same time. Overall, it was a great stay!

Great house with a wonderful location. You can walk to downtown to eat or shop and campus is a quick ride away. We have stayed here multiple times and will try and stay here again.

Great location, especially for Town Parade. Spotless clean.
The information about WiFi connection that we received from HomeAway was different from the actual WiFi information found on site. So this was a little confusing. It would be great if the property had a toaster and microwave oven. The A/C vent in the upstairs bedroom (the bedroom with a door) does not vent out any air. It would also be great if living room had more sofa space for sitting. The location is great and the place was spotless clean.

Charming place
It was a great place, within walking distance to restaurants and other points of interest. We did have an issue with the shower during our stay, but the owner gave us a fair credit for the inconvenience.
It was very clean. I stress this because I am a bit obsessed with keeping things tidy.
Great stay!

Winter weekend stay.
We had a great stay at this home. It was a snowy weekend and we were very warm and cozy inside. The kitchen had new appliances and the beds were super comfortable. A main floor master was nice. 1 block off of Main Street was very convenient!

Unique house in charming Culver
If you want to immerse yourself in this unique, charming town on the shores of Lake Maxinkuckie, this is a house to rent. Hardwood floors, a large, expansive bathroom with high ceilings and skylights. One bedroom downstairs with brick and plaster walls. Upstairs are two bedrooms with five beds.
Walk around the corner and you're on Main Street with restaurants (Lucrezia Trattoria and Cafe Max) and boutique shopping. Highly recommend both. Especially, Cafe Max for breakfast.
But the highlight of my visit was getting to know Susie Mahler. Susie owns this home as well as Cafe Max. She started the restaurant 30 years ago. If you want to get a feel for this town go there. Look at the walls (Historical photos of Culver Military Academy as well as the local high school.) Susie unites town and gown communities into one. No one gets preferential treatment-- including George Steinbrenner and John Cougar Mellencamp. They both wait their turn in line to dine.
