It was wonderful to find plenty of plates, utensils, and other basics in kitchen for preparing meals. Outdoor deck and pool area were more than anyone needs to enjoy the outdoors. Our pooch loved the wooded fenced in property. There were 6 of us, and we all agreed that your home would be a wonderful place to re-visit on another "USMC Reunion". Chris is a thorough attentive host. Thanks!

We stayed for a short trip for my wife’s birthday with our 2 dogs. The owner was great and ensured us we had nothing to worry about with the fully fenced yard. He was right the yard is huge and fully fenced with every nook sealed. We had a great time around the pool two decks over looking the lake. The property was very clean and organized. Would stay here again.

Cabin on the Rocks is great. This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed there. We look forward to our next trip . . .

This is a beautiful cabin situated on a lake. My wife and I visited with our golden retriever. For those with a dog or two, this property is ideal, with a huge area that is fenced and secure.
The cabin itself is great—lots of beds for a a larger group, a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy fireplace, and a really nice pool.
The owner, Chris, was extremely helpful in planning our visit, suggesting a number of local restaurants and hiking venues. As an aside, the local Kroger store is one of the nicest supermarkets I’ve ever visited, so stocking up with groceries and household supplies is a piece of cake.
I really can’t say enough about how fantastic our visit was; our only regret is that we didn’t have more time in our schedule for a longer stay. If I could give this property more than five stars, I certainly would.

We all had a fabulous time here. The grandchildren enjoyed playing outside in the large fenced yard. They enjoyed the arcade games and pool table. Having the large dining room table allowed all of us to be able to play board games together. The place was clean and well provisioned. This place would be even more fun in the summer with the pool and kayaks. We would recommend staying here. Having only one bathroom upstairs called for some scheduling, but we made it work.

We LOVED this property. The views of the lake (seen from EVERY bedroom except 1) are breathtaking. The property is well maintained and our dog loved being off-leash to run free on the 3 acres (fenced in). He gave a few squirrels a good chase! Our first impressions of the property was exciting and the emotion lasted us all week. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed the screened in porch facing the lake and stayed down at the dock a lot too. The steps were easy to navigate with plenty of landings to rest before the next climb. Most all beds were super comfortable. There were a few in the big room that could use memory foam, but no one in my family complained. The house is well stocked. We did run to Walmart to purchase groceries for the week. We cooked every day and just laid low for the Thanksgiving get-together. We had 3 families come together for our trip and really enjoyed our time. I highly recommend this property. My kids had a great time with the "Hey Google" house features and the pool table downstairs. We didn't have any issues and will definitely consider rebooking this property again next year if we decide to do Thanksgiving in the same location next year. The house is just a short 30 minute drive to Oak Ridge where we did a lot of shopping, and we found a beautiful waterfall: Ozone Falls State Natural Area that was an easy drive from the house. All in all: 5 star rating and one of our best week get-aways so far.

Thank you for sharing your lovely lake home. It was a perfect fit for our group of 8 old college friends. We parked our cars on Friday and never left the house until our stay was over. The screened-in porch was a super big hit! It couldn’t have been a better fit for our needs!

Unless you have a very very sneaky dog, the property is fenced in, well taken care of, and absolutely beautiful. The lake is not overly crowded, very relaxing and the place was unbelievably clean. There was everything we needed there, we did not want or need for anything. Thank you for sharing your home!

The perfect layout for spending time with friends and family. We went to Ozone falls, Potters Falls, The lost sea adventure - Craighead caverns, Kayaking, fishing on my sons bass boat, the pool was awesome especially since this week was brutally hot, rented a pontoon boat from Caney Creek marina for 3 days - they are so friendly- we just love Phil, the manager. Chris / owner is incredible. He was very accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions. He is extremely helpful with things to do in the area. The space was very clean and had all of the necessities for a fun filled family vacation. We will be back

We really enjoyed our stay! The fenced in yard was amazing, and so wonderful for the dogs! The house was immaculate. The pool was a really nice addition to the house. There are definitely a lot of steps to the dock, so be prepared for a work out! Chris, the owner, was very responsive. We lost power twice due to storms in the area and he responded right away and contacted the power company. We loved having so many options for sitting outside! Highly recommend this property!

Our family loved our vacation together at this gorgeous chalet with all it’s amenities! We had our 3 adult children, spouses, and 3 grandchildren meet up for some family fun and relaxation. This property did not disappoint! It delivers what it promises including a breathtaking wooded setting with Great Lake views. The kayaks and boat access were a favored amenity, and the pool provided so much fun, we’ll never want to vacation without one now! We definitely want to return!

The house is beautiful and just as the pictures showed. We enjoyed the pool, pool table and the lake. We caught some fish and had a fish fry. The owner was very responsive to all of my questions prior to our stay and during. We would definitely like to stay again sometime.

Expectations were met 100%, beautiful, comfy, fun. All the way around, we had a wonderful time! (We did struggle a bit getting the kayaks down to the water, but once down, the kayaking was lovely!! and we needed the exercise!) We would make this a regular event if possible. One of the best sister trips ever!! (And we are in our 60's and 70's). We go somewhere 2-3 times a year and loved this one. Beautiful.

The lake view was spectacular. We had 9 people for the week. One guest for us be afternoon. Accommodations fit us like a glove; especially the 5 bed granddaughter’s room. Did I mention the huge screened in back porch?
The lake was down 4’ but still got some fishing in at the dock.

Our family had a wonderful time at this property and the fenced-in yard was a real winner for the dogs! The host was responsive and we had everything we needed. The grocery store was close by and the neighborhood felt safe. The only downside was that it was in December and we couldn’t take advantage of the pool. We hope to come back in the warmer months!

We are hoping to return. The setting and the location offered us a “staycation” while letting us get away. Grandmother came for a couple nights. The daughters dropped in for a night. A family friend came for a night. We were able to enjoy our sailboat on the lake. Awesome vacation week!

We had a very intimate wedding on this property and couldn’t have asked for a better day. Beautiful area!

The Lake House offered a very relaxing and enjoyable retreat for my family of 9. The house was very clean and had great views of the lake. My husband and son were able to enjoy fishing off the dock (and they actually caught fish). We all enjoyed the outdoor games that were provided. We liked being able to have fires in both the outside fire pit and the fireplace inside on the crisp fall nights. The master bedroom was very spacious for my son, his wife, and two small children. My daughter's dog was able to roam around the fenced yard. The front porch offered a relaxing swing and bench overlooking numerous trees in the front yard. Overall, the lake house provided our family with a great place to enjoy each other's company, have fun, and relax.

Our entire family enjoyed everything from the view to the pool. The 3 fenced in acres were great for our dogs. We loved the big front porch with swing and screened- in back porch that overlooked the water. Large deck also was great for family gatherings to enjoy. House was well stocked with pretty much anything you needed. We would definitely rent again.
