About this apartment rental
Situated on the top (4th) floor overlooking the beach, this 4 bedroom 3 bath condo is the perfect vacation getaway. The condo sleeps 8 comfortably with ocean views from three of the four bedrooms. The master suite has a king size bed, a private bath with a double vanity, and an oversized walk-in tile shower. There is a double twin bed suite with a private bath, a single king bedroom and a bedroom with two double beds. The unit has a spacious fully furnished kitchen with an island attached to a full size dining area. In addition to a 55 inch flat screen TV with Blu-ray player and a gas fireplace, the living room boasts a full size couch, two oversize leather chairs and a super comfortable swivel rocker. You will be hard pressed to ever find more spectacular ocean views than the ones from the living room and spacious balcony of this unit. The balcony is large enough to support a four person dining table and two padded recliners with plenty of room to spare. For your convenience and comfort this unit has central heating and air and a walk in laundry room with full size washer and dryer (laundry soap included).
This condo is located as close as the law will allow to one of the most pristine beaches you will find anywhere. The unique topology of this area allows the building to sit a mere 20 yards or so from the beach. It is so close in fact that you can easily make it from the unit to the beach in less than one minute.
The Villas at Sunset Beach is a gated community located between Alys and Rosemary Beach. It’s on site security guard, palm tree lined brick drive and parking areas and large swimming pool (heated in colder months) mark it as one of the premier communities in the area. You could easily spend a week here and never leave the complex. However, if you do decide to venture out it is an easy walk (or drive) to Alys or Rosemary Beach where there are a multitude of shops, restaurants and scheduled activities.

NUT FREE ZONE: This condo is our personal vacation home that we visit multiple times a year. Having a daughter with deadly food allergies, which include peanuts and multiple tree nuts, we ask all of our guests not to eat nuts while in the unit. We realize this would be a great inconvenience for some and we respect that. If you must eat nuts we would kindly ask you to rent somewhere else. Keeping our condo a safe environment for our daughter is paramount.
COVID-19
Due to state and county mandated guidelines, all rental properties have been required to remove all non-essential and decorative bedding and pillows. Housekeep is required to follow strict new processes. This includes the cleaning and sanitization of all shared surfaces as well as ALL bedding. To comply with these new regulations we have been forced to change to all white lightweight bedding that can be washed and sanitized in the six hour window on turnover day. The king bedrooms have new white washable comforters but please feel free to bring extra blankets if you think you may require thinker bedding in the other rooms.

Beautiful place, great location. The only negative thing was the shared access to the beach stayed busy non stop and the chair rental place took all the beach in front of the house and crammed everyone together in one small section. Paid way too much money to be packed in like sardines.

We really enjoyed our stay. Location was excellent. Could tell that the condo owner uses the space as well a simply renting out the unit. I hope we treated the premises accordingly respecting the place as we would our own.
Sadly we had one mishap. One of our girls collided with the closet door going to the bathroom in the dark. The closet door knob damaged the wall and we apologize that this happened and will pay for the repair. Hopefully it is not too big a fix but are sorry for the inconvenience.

This property was perfect. Very clean and well maintained. The amenities were great right next to the pool and oceanfront. Amazing views from the balcony and living room. The overall location is perfect as well, situated right between Rosemary and Alys Beach. We will definitely be going back.

Phenomenal location right on seacrest beach. The condo was decently appointed, and everything worked. The view from the 4th floor balcony was amazing - with clear view of the sunset! We had 4 adults and 4 kids (5-8 years old) and never felt like we didn’t have enough room.
There is only 1 real TV in the condo - in the living room. The others in the bedroom are computer monitor sized and not really suitable for watching at 6+ feet away. So just know that if your group is TV oriented. The wifi worked just fine, no issues there. The only other “quirk” to this condo is that there are no ceiling lights in the bedrooms. You have to use the various lamps for bedroom lighting. We made do, it was just unusual.
Those are all minor things. We had a great time and would certainly stay in this condo again.

The condo was very clean and spacious. The location is perfect! We walked & biked everywhere. Lot’s to see & do. The balcony was the best part! The sunrises & sunsets are gorgeous! The grandkids absolutely had the best time. We hope to go back again soon.

The balcony view could not be beaten. We brought chairs but realized we were so close to the sea that we ended up enjoying the beach from our balcony and going down to the beach to walk or collect sea shells. The place was beautiful and provided a great place to be with our family.

The condo was spacious and clean. The view from the balcony was just perfect, you simply can't get closer to the beach without being on the beach! The property itself is within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

This condo is in a great location with a great view and super access to the beach. The condo is large with four bedrooms. Drawer storage in the bedrooms is limited but workable. The living room furniture is definitely worn, but is ok for a week of fun. Beds were comfortable. Two large bed bedrooms and two bedrooms with two beds each. Clearly though, for the price you are paying, you are getting the view, location and beach access.

Amazing spacious property with gorgeous view
This condo was amazing and clean with gorgeous view. Large balcony to spend the evenings and have a cup of coffee in the mornings. It was great to have the refreshing swimming pool so close as well. The only downside was that the beach was very crowded, and we had to go out to reserve a good spot close to the water as early as 5:30 am! Overall, very nice place. Highly recommended if you don’t mind the crowds of people.

Wonderful stay at the Panhandle Penthouse
We stayed Memorial Day 2022. The location is wonderful - within walking distance of both Alys beach and Rosemary Beach. The condo was perfect for our family. The unit was clean and comfortable and right on the beach. We especially enjoyed the balcony overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. We can't wait to stay here again!

Outdated, unclean...but beautiful ocean view
Our family booked this condo last minute as it was Spring Break week and everything else was booked. We paid over $6,000 for this condo rental and honestly feel like we got taken advantage of a bit due to everything I outlined below. We were excited because based on the details this was the perfect place and the views looked amazing from the pictures. When we arrived we quickly realized why this condo wasn't already booked as it seemed everything else in the area was.
Pros:
#1 GORGEOUS views from the 4th floor balcony. You can see the ocean from a just about every angle in the living area...it is really a beautiful location!
#2 Close proximity to restaurants - we didn't use our car all week and walked everywhere.
#3 Private-ish pool (see cons about this below)
Cons:
#1 The condo is VERY outdated and NOT clean. Doors are dirty and chipped. Outdated EVERYTHING. The bed pillows have stains on them and the mattresses are at least 20 years old. All of the furniture and decor is pieced together, stained, dinged and VERY dirty. We were able to tour the first floor unit while we were there and it was gorgeous and updated - nothing like the unit we stayed in here which made us upset that we spent so much for lackluster accommodations.
#2 The pool is private to all the residents/guests of the condos which is great. However the walkway to the beach is public access so hundreds of people walk by at all hours of the day and night. It doesn't seem like it would be a big deal....but it is a constant flow of traffic on what you would think would be private property. During our stay the police were called to the property every night due to rowdy groups gathering that were not residents/guests.
#3 There is only one working TV in the condo and it is a basic TV that doesn't have any smart technology. It has three remotes to operate the one TV. Again, outdated and needs to be replaced. The other TV was located in a bedroom but was broken and didn't turn on.
Overall, we had a great week because we tried to stay out of the condo as much as possible. Would we stay in this unit again? Absolutely NOT...until the owner puts some well needed effort in updating the unit.

Perfect family rental
This was perfect for our family as it was very roomy, clean, and arranged so that everyone had a private area. The view of the beach was beautiful and we loved being able to walk to shopping areas. The furniture in the living area was very comfortable and the balcony was really large.

Appreciate the extra chairs in the unit. We used them on the beach. Ida the Hurricane forced water.
Ida had forced water into the upper window and had covered the entire dining room floor by the time I got to it. All Windows will need to be resealed. The tubs are all running slow and need to be cleaned out. The window sills and the top of the shower pillars in the bathrooms have mold. But overall a great place. Just needs very minor upkeep. Thank you again for the rental opportunity.

What a view
Nice area to stay, lovely community, shopping, and food near by. Condo was nice and could use some updating. Beach was beautiful, unfortunately there is only a small area to be used by everyone that doesn't want to use beach service. People started claiming spots at 530am. The area was packed since shuttle people from condos across the street to use the same area.

Excellent stay
First time to the area. Owner was great and answered all questions promptly. Location is fantastic and the photos don’t do the place justice. The views from the huge balcony can’t be beat. Having a keypad to enter the condo is highly valuable especially with 2 teens - never had to worry about who had the room keys. Highly recommend

Great Location & Amazing Views
The location of this condo relative to everything you want to do at the beach is fantastic. One of the best features is the view from the balcony - Just amazing! A very short walk to all the local restaurants and evening entertainment. The condo is nicely decorated and stocked with everything that you will need for the week. I definitely recommend this property.

Location is perfect but unit is outdated
The location is perfect. I booked this property for the location because we have stayed in this complex for the past 5 years and love the gulf front view and close proximity to Rosemary. With that said, I would not recommend this unit. It is beyond outdated, no TVs in the bedrooms??? except one tiny tv in one of the bedrooms, that can’t be seen because it’s so low and small. The walls are so scuffed and filthy. The furniture looks like from the Goodwill from the 70’s. It’s a shame because the property has potential. Rent in the complex because all of the others we’ve stayed in are clean, up to date, and what you’d expect for the price, but not this one. The view is gorgeous, but that’s all for this property.

Perfect location!
What a great week we had! This location is absolutely perfect. You literally can’t get any closer to the beach. We had 2 families and the layout was perfect for adults and kids. Huge patio that fit us all and had amazing views. Close proximity to shopping and restaurants. We biked or walked everywhere. I would definitely stay here again!

The perfect spot!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo!!! Everything was seamless from our initial interest through our departure. Scott was awesome to work with, always answering my questions in a very timely manner. The condo view is AMAZING! We loved sitting out on the balcony morning and night, enjoying the beach and water. The condo itself is adorable. The decorations are updated and the unit is fully stocked with anything and everything a family would need for the week. We will definitely stay in this condo again and I would highly recommend it to any families looking to get away, relax, and seeking a true oceanfront property:-).

Great but large crowds
Property was great. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit the 30a area. My only complaint was the very little beach space available for those not renting from the umbrella and chair company though. The umbrella and chair company took up nearly 3/4s of the overall beach space, and the vacationers that used their own equipment were only given 1/4 of the beach space. It felt very cramped.
