We had a wonderful stay! We especially loved being able to walk downtown while still having a big, beautiful backyard.

This house was great! The kitchen was week stocked and very clean. We enjoyed the huge back yard and spent a quiet couple hour hours on the hammock. The location was perfect. We could have walked to many locations, but choose to drive to save our steps for tiring the beautiful city. I would highly recommend this property.

Cute house near beach and town.
Our group had a great time for 2 weeks in this house. It’s close to Eastons beach and town. The house has everything you need - big backyard too. Charming.

Such a great rental!
My family and friends really enjoyed staying at this property. We have young children and it was a perfect place for them - the house came with a basement playroom stocked with toys, there was a large backyard with a tire swing/hammock, and there were other kid-friendly amenities. The backyard is more beautiful than the pictures show. The location was perfect - we could comfortably walk to the beach and to downtown Newport. I'd highly recommend this home! We hope to rent here again in the future.

Great vacation, ok house
This house was a cute cottage, not as nice as most we have stayed in, but it suited our purpose. It is definitely kid friendly, which we did not need. One main drawback was no air conditioning in the downstairs. Very hot and stuffy, especially in the small study/bedroom my elderly mother had to sleep in because she can't climb stairs. This is a well-maintained home but is old so it could use some help in this tech age ... power strips for more plugs would be helpful. Newport was fabulous with so much to see and do that we barely dented our must-do list.

Peace and glory
What a wonderful home. This is not for people who are looking for a maniacally busy city holiday, but those in search of peace and calm beauty. Especially recommended for bunny lovers. The garden was filled with bunnies, squirrels and a substantial range of the local avian life - singing for all their worth.
The house was immaculately clean. The other comments describe its great facilities and the feeling that you could relax in them. As we are kosher travellers, this facility is amazing because there is a complete range of separate kosher utensils securely available.
For kids there are a range of beaches nearby with good lifeguard coverage and a nauseating amount of fudges, ice creams, salt water taffy within easy walking distance - also a stock of toys, games and a croquet set.
One is close enough to Boston to have a good day visit there - and i haven't yet talked about the whale watching opportunities. All in all we would love to stay again.

Where to start... easy walk to the beach and downtown area... Gorgeous and spacious backyard ideal for entertaining or just lounging. Interior is well designed, with everything you need for a great vacation. Elegant, minimalist... I loved how this home had both New England "charm" but modern elegance and features... definitely a 5-star experience.

Magical cottage, huge yard, perfect location
We have stayed here twice---once for a romantic vacation for two and another time with several friends---and can't wait to book again. The house is gorgeous; it looks like a Marty Bell painting of a small English cottage from the outside, but has a spacious interior with plenty of room and huge kitchen (we like to cook). The backyard, which has a giant farm table, hammock, deck chairs and rope swing, is shaded by enormous trees. It offers plenty of room for pickup games of frisbee or even to host large, stylish parties. Location is impeccable: within walking distance to the mansions, beach and downtown, but just far enough away to be completely quiet when home and to provide easy parking. A truly magical experience. Worth every penny.

Perfect Stay
Wonderful home with exceptional hosts that went above and beyond their duty to make us feel comfortable. The house is fully stocked with beach towels and beach gear, toiletries and everything else you can think of that you might need to feel at home. I especially loved cruising around Newport with their bicycles!! I recommend biking through Ocean Drive to take in the beautiful mansions. It also happens to be the best route for picturesque ocean views.
The house is a short 8 minute walk to first beach, so don’t worry about having to pay for parking. The house is centrally located so that getting to any main area (beach, tennis hall of fame, grocery store, downtown Newport, wharfs, restaurants, shopping) is only a short walk.
Don’t be fooled by the adorable cottage look, the house is larger than the photos depict. It is so spacious and has the perfect rustic/romantic feel to it. Another bonus is having a washer and dryer to do laundry. The back yard is probably my most favorite part of the house. My family loved dining and lounging in the back yard. This house was ideally set up for outdoor lovers. The hammock, lounge chairs, and Adirondack chairs were perfect for outdoor reading and socializing.

The Pics Don't do This Place Justice
From the moment we arrived at this house I felt a sense of calm and relaxation. It is so serene and quietly tucked away in nature however you are only a short walk away from the main drag and the beach as well. We rode bikes to the local tennis courts and ice cream shoppe. The famous Cliff walk is only about ten minute walk away and a great place for a run. The house is so well appointed with everything we needed from bikes to beach gear. The deco was right up our alley, luxury, cottagey, and comfy. Central air was nice but with the Newport breeze we didnt even need it. I could probably lie on that hammock for hours just enjoying nature - birds, rabbits, butterflies, the smell of lavender. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and cant wait to come back for more.
