About this cabin rental

Our cabin is secluded, private, and furnished with everything you need. Just bring your suitcase and food. Large bedroom has queen bed, with door going onto deck. On the same floor is large bath with jetted tub and shower. Upstairs bedroom has twin beds and the living room has a queen size sofabed. If needed, you can put an air mattress on the kitchen floor. Kitchen has dishes, pots and pans, silverware, microwave, coffee pot, can opener, etc. There is a nearby playground for the kids and fishing in our pond. We are located 8 miles from Blairsville where we have great restaurants, antique shops and a large park with swimming pool and tennis. Butternut Creek and Owen Glenn golf courses are also located nearby. In the fall you can take hikes to see the leaves turn, watch the wildlife or just relax. We are 2 hours from Atlanta where there are many other attractions. Approximately 5 miles to Lake Nottely. Other attractions include the Georgia Mountain Fair, Gold Rush in Dahlonega, Vogel State park., Brasstown Bald, Appalachian Trail, Helton Creek Falls, Trackrock Riding Stables, ATV trails and ORV trails. Anything you might want, everything you might need! Just relax while sitting in the rocking chairs on the deck watching the children play on the playground! You have come to the right place. Oh and don't forget you 'HONEYMOONERS' THIS PLACE IS PERFECT.

Check in was straight forward and everything me and my Wife could have wanted. We just needed some alone time before I deploy. The cabin is so homey. I dream about owning a place like this some day.

It was a wonderful location for a getaway. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would certainly reserve this place again in the future if necessary. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in the woods.

The cabin was very nice and quaint. I had to call the property owner while I was there due to the hot water not working. There is a jetted tub in the rest room that is nice, but unusable unless you boil water first because the hot water runs out before the tub is anywhere near a bathable level. The pond area and fishing were nice. The ad lists air conditioning, but what they mean is there is a window unit in the closet if you want to drag it out and install it. They said they hadnt gotten around to putting it in, but the cabin is very stuffy without it. The owners were very friendly and overall it was a pleasant stay, with some minor inconveniences.

This cabin was such a lovely stay; it’s quiet, well kept, and with lovely views of the pong and pasture. The kitchen was very well stocked and so were all of the rooms. It was lovely sitting on the rocking chairs on the porch and take in the peaceful surroundings. My only gripe was that there were many uncovered windows, no blinds or curtains so I felt very exposed. We had to hang some towels over the big windows so we didn’t feel watched. But other than that the cabin and the property owners were lovely! I highly recommend staying here.

The porch is nice, the cabin was cute and quaint. We saw a deer. The broken window upstairs is a little creepy but no issues from it. Would stay here again if I was in the area.

We were impressed with the quiet location at the end of a short road with no close neighbors. The pond with deer grazing around it was a pretty view from the wrap around deck. It was pretty chilly so we didn’t spend a lot of time outside on the deck. We did however spend time in front of the warm gas fireplace. The cabin was beautiful with all the wood and was amply stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen. The location was close to great hiking, which we took advantage of doing. It was a nice cozy place to usher in the new year!

Nice cozy cabin in the woods at the end of s private drive. Needs a little TLC - window treatments, bathroom and kitchen refurbish but functional. Overall a nice stay.

Great secluded place. Beautiful nature is all around. No noises or other interruptions. Close to main highways . Blairsville is handy with plenty of stores carrying everybday needs. Good places to eat. Centrally located to many points of interests. Hosts were very responsive to messages and very nice. We enjoyed the properly and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a quit getaway and also be able to interact with the rest of the world when needed.

The cabin was perfect. In a quiet setting, just as advertised. But not too far from main roads. We had everything we needed for the weekend. Very cozy! My sisters and I loved our weekend stay at this property. We would definitely stay here again.

It was a very nice cabin overlooking a small pond. The cabin was at the end of the lane which was very quiet. There was some small sugar ants around but I would rather see that then dealing with the smell on ant killer and chemicals. Loved the stay, would book again if I ever get back in the area.

Loved the cabin and it's location! The cabin was neat and clean with everything we needed. I particularly loved the jetted tub. It was so relaxing! I also loved the back deck. At night I sat and just listened to the nature sounds. There was no traffic noise, no noisy neighbors, no sirens in the middle of the night! I also met Mrs. Dyer. She is very sweet. We had a lovely chat. I strongly recommend renting this cabin as a vacation spot. My husband and I had a wonderful time!

The property was dirty. The railings around the deck was unsafe as were some of the deck boards. Cobwebs in the house and filthy windows. It looks like the water to the house comes from the pond. I was so disgusted with the place I left on Tuesday instead of Friday. I snapped several pictures of the cabin that I'm willing to share with you. Minus 10 on a scale of 1-10. I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemy.

We had an enjoyable stay at this property. My family and I traveled to Blairsville for the weekend for a baby shower. The cabin location was cool. There is no central air but we found a window unit in the closet which helped out a lot. We were able to fish in the small pond in the back and caught a couple of small fish. A few dogs came up to us on the property and were so sweet. The only down side was the cleanliness of the cabin. There was hair in the sponge dish in the kitchen, mouse poop in the drawers, lots of bugs in the bathroom & tub. The bugs were expected since you’re out in the woods and they were all dead/dying which made it obvious that they had treated before we arrived. Overall, it was a good experience!

I know telling the truth about our experiences at these cabins will greatly diminish our chances of ever finding another opening as other folks will flood in and fill the calendar, but I must be honest. We love these cabins, the location, and for sure the hosts!

We had a great time staying here! Every morning there was a field full of deer to watch from the front porch. The house was well equipped. Just be mindful that there is no central heating, but the fireplace and wall heater in the kitchen kept us warm.

My wife and I needed a short getaway and this was the perfect location. The back porch was our favorite, overlooking the pond, we even saw about 8 deer. The large jacuzzi bath was another favorite. We hope to be back soon.
