About this cottage rental
Upstairs you will find 4 bedrooms -- 1 queen bed, 2 full beds, a crib, and twin bed.
The crib and twin bed are in the same room with an ac unit & blackout curtain to keep the space climate controlled for naps.
There is a queen mattress on the enclosed porch and a pull out full bed in the living room.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with cooking supplies and a gas stove. We have a gas grill outside and a fire pit on the beach with ample beach furniture and a dock.
The house is equipped with wifi and an additional ac unit in the living room. The bathroom can be found right off of the kitchen and the shower is on the enclosed porch. It makes for a nice set-up so you can use both at the same time.
The house was built in 1940 by my great grandfather so it’s no frills! The walls don’t go up to the ceiling upstairs, no TV, outlets aren’t perfectly placed. We’ve continued coming back and bring our children because the lake is breathtaking and we always found ourselves outside for most of the day. If you come with clear expectations, I have no doubt you’ll make lasting memories!!

We had a great week here with our kids. They enjoyed sleeping on the sun porch and the zero-entry beach access for all-day entertainment. The property is rustic (no TV, no washer/dryer) as described in the listing so if that works for your group, you will love staying here.

This camp is in a perfect spot! We loved the beach and enjoyed the quietness of the location. All the neighbors were so friendly! It was also wonderful to have everything we needed for cooking and towels for swimming. We were a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the house and found several windows that wouldn’t open. We were unable to connect to the Wi-Fi using the network name and password provided. After a call to the internet company, we had no issues. It would have been nice to have a TV for the kids at night and during passing storms. But we loved playing all the games!
Overall, we enjoyed our stay! If you’re looking for a rustic, Maine camp, this is it.

This property is awesome camp lake living! The waterfront is sandy and clear and jumping off the dock every morning at 6am was the best! Lots of wildlife to observe, including loons, ducks, fish and a resident baby snap turtle. The sandy beach made it tricky to keep the inside of cottage clean, but we swept often; keeping a foot wash bucket at the bottom of the stairs helped! The lighting inside could use a little love (bare bulbs and dark areas), as well as some deeper cleaning in bathroom and shower. Some of the listing is outdated, like the Wi-Fi info (we figured it out) and ‘purple bin’ for check out; We felt confident in how we left the property quite tidy. All in all, we really liked the camp feel and it suited our family’s needs wonderfully.

Enjoyed our stay. Has a nice gradual entry in to the water which is great for kids. There is an ice cream boat that comes by everyday and the kids loved that. Very close to anything you would need. It's in a very nice area. Neighbors are friendly.

The property was as described, rustic but comfortable. Dishes, pots and pans, sheets, blankets, towels were all provided (we did opt to wash what dishes we took out of the cupboard as we used them, since we weren't sure when they were last washed). Gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, outside gas grill were all in good working condition and clean. Comfortable sleeping on the queen bed on the porch with loons calling most evenings. Four bedrooms upstairs (all on the smaller side) gave us choices. One rowboat (we didn't use) and 2 kayaks (1 single, plus a two-seater, which we did use) were available, with plenty of choices of life jackets in the closet on the screened in porch. The lake has clean water for swimming. Communication with owner was excellent; very responsive. The cottage was just off a quiet private road (25 mph speed limit); we took a daily walk out to the main road (about 3.5 miles out and back). Lots of shopping within 3 miles for supplies (Walmart, grocery), plus within a 15-20 minute drive were excellent restaurants and ice cream places. We even treated ourselves to dinner and a movie at Smitty's.

Great Camp!
We had a wonderful time! It was close enough to town for a quick trip when needed. The cove was quiet with the bigger part of the lake right around the corner. The loons were spectacular! The owners were very easy to communicate with and I thought it was very thoughtful when she sent tips of places to go, because you know the locals know the best places! They had all you need for a wonderful camp...kayaks, a boat, grill, fire pit, fishing poles, and the list goes on.

Enjoyed our family stay. Scenic quiet area. The 2 kayaks on the property plus a couple of rented paddle boards gave everyone a chance to enjoy water activities. Kitchen was very well equipped. Easy access to grocery stores and restaurants. There was plenty of space for our large family group.

This is our second time renting this lovely camp. It’s a bit older but has all the amenities that we needed inside the camp and outside. We were just a short time away from local restaurants, shops, entertainment and the camp is very easy to find and get to. We will be renting again next year as it’s only 30 minutes from our home, family and friends if anyone wanted to stop by for a quick dip in the lake. Lisa was very attentive to us renting her place. The lake is so beautiful and the camp sits about 50 yards from the channel that goes into middle lake, which keep in mind this lake has three different parts to it, lower, middle and upper lake. Definitely worth the stay.

We loved our recent stay at Little Sebago Lake this year. The house is a classic Maine camp/cottage that is literally twenty feet from the lake. It has its own private sandy beach between it and the water, a dock, as well as a screened porch on two sides of it. Most importantly, the ambiance is enhanced by its own resident loon. There is plenty of parking for three cars.
The first floor includes the living room, kitchen, bathroom, dining room and access to the screened porch. (By the way, there is a bed on the screened porch if someone wants to sleep closer to nature. The bedrooms are on the second floor. The kitchen has everything that you would need for in-home cooking and dining, including, glasses, plates, utensils, pots and pans, and a large refrigerator. There is a gas grill outside. There is a cabinet on the porch that is well-stocked with towels, life jackets, beach toys and there are many board games in the living room. Also, the living room has a window air conditioner, which we did use a couple of times, because we had a couple of unusually hot days for Maine this time of year.
The owner, Lisa, is an extremely nice and pleasant person, who is very accommodating and easy to deal with. She made sure that everything was in place for us to experience a wonderful vacation, and she encouraged us to contact her if we needed anything. We look forward to the possibility of another rental in the future.

Great staycation
This cabin was great for a close to home vacation. Much bigger than the pictures let on. Kitchen is stocked with whatever you need for cooking and serving. It is rustic, but that’s part of the appeal. Beach area is private, but other homes are close by. I would just throw out there that there are a lot of dogs around that run loose, and wander into the yard, which was a little stressful for us because we brought our dog and she gets nervous with new dogs. Not a huge deal, just something to be aware of if you have a child (or like us a dog) who is fearful of dogs.

Great location
The house is located on a peaceful part of the lake and water access is great. Though the house is a little outdated we had a great time swimming, kayaking, and fishing...

I really enjoyed my stay. My only disappointed was that there was no direct sun light on the beach. But that didn't stop me from enjoying the sun just floated around on my float. The beach is great for kids gradual entry, nice and sandy. There are outlets in the rooms upstairs for the fans. Had one minor problem and Lisa had someone there in about 5 minutes. All the neighbors were very friendly. It was just a nice place to stay glad I rented it.

We loved this cottage. It had everything in it we needed to enjoy a week right on the lake.
We had never been to Little Sebago before. It is a beautiful lake. The property is nothing fancy to look at, but has everything there you could possibly want. We had a great family vacation, the first time in 10 years. We were campers in the past, but wanted to rent, we are so glad we did.

very rustic
The location is absolutely beautiful, you can literally see the lake from every window and the water is literally steps away. The owner is very responsive to questions and concerns.
The house itself is quite rustic, with funky lighting and lack of outlets(ie there are fans in the upstairs bedrooms, which get very hot, but nowhere to plug them in.very little lighting in the living room area)
the linens and towels included were a little sparse and hard to locate. We could not find sheets for the futon couch, and there was a lack of towels for a family for a week, especially since there was no washer or dryer.
The kitchen was very well stocked with all kinds of things. If you are looking to cook, you will have no issues. no dishwasher.
The shower stall was a bit funky and needs updating.
Overall, you are paying for the location, proximity to services(everything incredibly close by!!) and proximity to the water.
The house itself is quite rustic and minimalist.

The property was perfect. We had a dock, sandy beach, big enough cottage and beautiful lake views.
Great experience! Nice dock, fireplace (outdoor), nice beach, kayaks, rowboat, brand new grill. Cottage was spacious and very comfortable. We loved the provision of linens and towels. It was great to not have to worry about cleaning the cottage on our departure. The cove was wonderful. I would recommend this to anyone. The owners were very accommodating and easily accessible.

Awesome camp
Great property with so much to offer. Great Lake location with a great spot to pull up a boat. Everything was super clean and felt very homey. Lots of room for a big family. Porch has an aw awesome view of the lake. Owner was very nice and accommodating when I messed up and had originally picked the wrong dates when I first booked. I can't say enough good things.
