Mission Beach is our Happy Place! We downsized this year to a one bed room and it was perfect for us and had room for our daughter to visit. The duplex was so cozy and comfortable. Steps to the bay and a short easy walk to the beach. There is a quaint little coffee shop just up the alley or a Starbucks on the corner. The house had everything we needed and the owners were easy to get in touch with and very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again!

This was a perfect 1 bedroom for a short term stay (about 6 weeks) and Karin was so responsive and accommodating! No issues outside of a little dusting and missing my own comfy bed but I was plenty comfortable and there’s no place like home 😊 I’ll definitely come back and stay even longer!

This was the perfect spot for our relaxing vacation. Only steps to the boardwalk on the bay in one direction and a block the other way to the open ocean. Loved walking the beach and boardwalk. Having the bikes available to use was a great bonus too. The boogie boards were so much fun! The unit was well stocked with pots, pans and basics. I would certainly stay here again.

My daughter and I enjoyed staying at this property. It is the perfect spot close to restaurants, the bay, the ocean and all the attractions. This property had everything we could need for a 4 day stay. The garage and the addition of central air was priceless! Karin is great to work with and we would love to come back!!

We had a wonderful stay. The rental was minutes from either the Beach or the Bay and right around the corner from the amusement park. The home is small, but had all the necessities needed to make our stay comfortable. A big plus for us was being able to use their paddle board. This was my daughters first time on one and we were so happy she was able to use it the entire day vs just an hour. We used the grill out on the patio one night, we cooked Steaks and Lobster. We would have liked to sit outside to eat but their wasn’t enough lighting. I will note that the garage is small and there wasn’t enough room for me to get my Yukon xl in, but we had already known that. I just wanted to mention it for future guests. We parked in front of the Bahia resort, which was only a few minutes walk away and our truck was totally fine. No issues at all.

Great location. Missing sponge to do dishes. I am addicted to TV but none in the bedroom so I slept in the living room the whole time. The garage is super small and very difficult to park but that is common to the area. Overall, really enjoyed the place.

I truly have nothing negative to report. From the hostess of the property to the location, everything was spot on. Perfectly sized cottage for me, but can sleep up to 4. Well-appointed with all the amenities of home. The location is fantastic with the bay mere steps away and the ocean only a block away. And as a solo traveler I never felt unsafe. Plenty of restaurant options within a very short distance to walk too. I highly recommend this quaint cottage in the heart of it all. I plan on returning next summer. Might even bring the hubs. lol

We do enjoyed our stay here! It is a short (less than a minute) walk to the bay and 2 blocks from the ocean - there were many days we did both beaches in one day! We loved the paddle boards and the beach toys and beach chairs and umbrella and beach towels! It was so helpful to not have to bring any of that! The washer and dryer were a big plus too as we could wash towels and swimsuits and have fresh each day! Karin was so easy to get a hold of with any questions and Starbucks was right down the alley - there are also numerous amazing restaurants in walking distance and it was super easy to use Uber to come and go as needed!

We had the best time at this rental. It had everything we needed for a great beach vacation. Great location for a short to walk to the beach, with good options for coffee, ice cream, or tacos on your way. Karin had lots of beach gear, including sand toys for the kids, beach chairs, and towels. We saw dolphins swimming one day and many beautiful sunsets. The small garage fit our Toyota Corolla rental fine. We would not hesitate to stay again. Thanks Karin!

Even though it rained during our stay, we had a great time in the cottage. It was just the right size for our family of three and dog. We used the bikes for rides along the bay and ocean beach. We walked everywhere and didn’t take our car out for four straight days! Karin was really helpful when needed. The oldish tv didn’t work very well but other than that it was a great stay!

This place made it super easy to make a great stay without having to pack anything other than clothes. We traveled here with our two children and we only brought their bikes. We didn’t have to pack our bikes, paddle boards or anything else. We just rented from the host. Karin was prompt with all communication. The one thing I would note, there is no fire pit. So do not plan to use that. We had a blast with the paddle boards and kayak in the bay. There is food, coffee, treats and entertainment all so close to the house.

This place is clean! We were very impressed. The only con for us were, getting car into garage. A man across alley was aLittle upset that we had to move garbage cans in order for us to get car into the garage. We planned on putting them right back but he mumbled something about he would just do it. Just FYI about that. The AC was a huge plus. And the kitchen cookware was good. I made meals everyday. We brought plastic silverware and paper plates & napkins. So that helped in dishes. We will look at staying here again.

We rented both of the units, one for my family and the other for my parents. The shared patio was perfect for breakfast and night time visiting. My 3 yr old was able to go in and out of the unit and patio while still keeping am eye on him. We parked the car and didn't move it our entire stay. Walking distance to the bay and beach. Everything stocked and we didn't need hardly anything we brought ourselves. Karin was always so responsive and helpful. Will definitely plan on staying again!

Amenities abound, some for a price (bikes and kayak) but most included in your rent. Our hosts were responsive and very pleasant to work with. We highly recommend this property.

Perfect location. Close to everything you need. Walked in and was greeted with a welcome sign and a dog treat for our dog. Very clean. Kitchen had everything I needed. Our chevy traverse fit in the garage. Didnt need the truck the whole stay. We biked and walked everywhere. The host was awesome! Easy to talk too and responded really fast. Outside area was relaxing and cozy for a bbq. We would love to stay again.
