About this house rental

Waterfront home with the quintessential lake view. Perfect gently sloped lot on the point makes for easy access to the TWO docks and waterfront. NO STEPS! 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths. 2 King, 1 Queen, Twin over Full bunk bed. Open floor plan with cathedral ceilings. Living room with gas fireplace, dining room, kitchen with attached sun room and master bedroom on entry level. 2nd and 3rd bedrooms on upper level with shared full bath. 2nd living area on lower level. Sun room has wall to wall windows for viewing the lake. Perfect spot to relax and drink your morning coffee or sit and talk. There is also a 4th bedroom on the the entry level with the twin over full bunk bed. Look out on the water with a lake view from almost every bedroom. Fully stocked kitchen. Side deck off of the kitchen has a patio set with seating for four. Wonderful view of the lake from this deck. Downstairs living area with bar and pool table perfect for entertaining or kicking back with the family. Downstairs living area has sliding glass doors that open onto the lakeside patio complete with gas grill and outdoor furniture. TV's in great room, downstairs living area as well as all of the bedrooms. Fire pit down by the lake perfect for roasting s'mores. We have a high chair and pack and play available for you to use. Also, lots of board games and corn-hole. Linens are provided. Internet access with WIFI throughout the house. We have a 7 night minimum stay during or Summer season. Otherwise the minimum stay is 3 nights. There are security cameras located outside the front door and the back patio. No cameras inside the house.

3rd year staying here..love it! Close to gas for the water toys and corner lot allows for awesome sunsets from the dock. Owner is super responsive..house is perfect, well stocked kitchen and have flat area near water is great for playing games. Made great use of covered patio during rain storms. Looking forward to our next trip!

We had a wonderful stay at Kim's SML property! It was a perfect set-up for our family and we enjoyed the beautiful views! Kim is a great host and is incredibly hospitable. There were a few minor things out of Kim's control that we wish were a tad better (some areas of the house that we had to clean upon arrival and high wake on the docks that made swimming and docking difficult), but we would definitely stay again! Kim is a super responsive host and nothing beats the view!

Our second year staying at this property A fantastic location well furnished with supplies flat area for lawn games, cove area for swimming/relaxing and extremely close via boat to Bridgewater marina. Kim is a great host would highly recommend.

This is our third time at this property, and it truly has become our "home away from home." Every detail is attended from the linens to the kitchen supplies to the welcome bottle of wine. Kim, the property owner, is the best! She is always accommodating and responsive to our needs/requests. The lake-front location couldn't be better. We plan to return!

An active boating area. Watching the float plane touchdown and takeoff was exciting. Hanging out Lakeside in the mornings in the evenings was nice. The house has good spaces, a complete laundry area, and a well set up kitchen.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Popsys Point. The house suited our needs quite well. The views of the lake were great, and we enjoyed the daily visits from the local deer. The kitchen was well equipped, except they could use some more coffee mugs! The owner was very responsive to communications.

Many yrs staying at SML…this house was best so far. Kim was super responsive and ck in was easy. Pictures are accurate…literally 5 min jet ski ride to the bridge which made refueling easy! Less boating traffic.. Property has nice slope with flat areas making it an easy walk to the dock…nice to swim in cove where there is a 2nd dock Pool table was nice for a couple hours of rain Kitchen is extremely well stocked with everything except Tupperware Great house!

This was out third stay at this property for its location. It could use a deep cleaning as the cleaners look to have just cleaned surface level. The dock lights didn't work for third year in a row. Love the location and Kim is super responsive!

We enjoyed the flat lot and location of this property on the lake. It’s only a short ride to Bridgewater Marina. The master on the main was also another plus, but sharing the master bath with the bunk room on the main was not ideal. Hulu was the tv service we had to stream live tv, which was disappointing as we are avid Washington National fans. We could not get any live games. Overall, great trip and would highly recommend this property for anyone who is looking to avoid a lot of stairs.

We stayed at the house for our family summer vacation. The location on the point was wonderful. Great views and plenty of back yard room for all. We enjoyed the fire pit, the pool table and the views from the sunroom were wonderful! The ice cream boat was a nice surprise as well. The grocery store was an easy 12 minutes drive and the marina was only 15 minutes away. What a great getaway!

This is a large, charming well-equipped family home. My husband and I only made use of the main floor and its master bedroom, which connects (as does the kitchen/dining area) to the splendid sunroom with its gorgeous views of the lake. From the sunroom we saw geese with their goslings, a mother deer nursing and grooming her fawn, and heron.

Beautiful property! This house has all you need. Kitchen is fully stocked. Easy walk down to the lake. Great spaces for every age range, including a family room with a large screen TV, a basement with pool and ping pong, and a beautiful enclosed sun room (my favorite). Easy check in. We loved it!

Had a wonderfull time with family at this lake house. The house was clean, well stocked , not just the kitchen, but towels/washclothes/bath rugs, sheets, t. paper, basically anything you need except personal items and food. Hope to rent this house again next fall.

Property was clean and comfortable - a terrific space to spend a weekend getaway with four old friends. The house sits on an awesome little point that makes it feel like you have the lake all to yourself. Communication with the manager and access were a breeze. Highly recommend!

This home is obviously a well-loved lake house. It reminded me of going to my grandma's lake house when I was little. The home is spacious and has so many activities to occupy our 11 and 12 year old. We LOVED playing ping pong and the kids had a great time swimming in the lake. If you're looking for a super posh destination, this isn't for you. If you're looking for a spacious area to spend quality time with your family and are willing to get down with rustic lake life, then this will be perfect.

We had a blast staying at Popsys Point. The house and view of the lake were awesome! Plenty of games for our 5 year old son to play in the home and lots of fun outside in water. The only issues we had were that the pack n play hadn’t been used in a long time so we decided not use it as it was very dusty. And we didn’t bring our own because it was listed as having one. The other issue was that the televisions each had several remotes. It was very confusing on how to use the televisions. Some of the remotes were mislabeled and it it took us a few evenings of trying to figure it out. The internet wasn’t great and I had to use a mobile hotspot to do a little work from vacation. These issues wouldn’t stop us from visiting again! We really loved this place and we highly recommend to anyone interested.

Week at the lake

Week at the lake

I visited this property along with my wife and our 3 yo son. We had a few friends visit later in the week along with their two small children. Overall, we really enjoyed this house. Beautiful lot with a gorgeous view that feels nice and private. The kids loved swimming off of the dock and playing with all the various games/puzzles stored in the house. The adults enjoyed the pool table and having coffee from the sun room or patio in the morning. It's also a quick ride to the marina if you would like to rent a boat. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a nice, relaxing stay at the lake.

This property is beautiful and on an awesome spot on the lake with a great view. It's just a short drive to the closest public boat ramp. The house had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans and even spices - everything you need to do a bunch of cooking. The bathrooms were stocked with towels and even shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Such a great spot. Everyone had a great time.

Fabulous Property

We have been going to SML for 20 years and also owned a home on lake at one point. It doesn’t get any better than this. Lot was perfect with little to no slope. House was great with comfortable furniture. Lots of rentals have cheap furniture that is uncomfortable after a couple of days; not the case here. Having the linens provided was fantastic. Nice grill; wasn’t cheap. Loved playing ping pong with my son. Location was great to get to groceries or rent a boat as we did. I could go on an on. Kim was responsive as well. Definitely would like to come back.
