The view was very nice. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood

This place is a gem!

The home was decent. Hot tub was great. The cleanliness of the cabin left much to be desired. We found a wasp that was partially dead on the floor in the living room. We also found a dead waterbug on top of the dresser that seemed to have been there for a while. I’d highly recommend looking into hiring somebody else to clean because it obviously isn’t getting done well enough. I reached out about the situation and was told they’d get back with me, but I never heard from them again.

The location, the view, the kitchen and the hot tub are fantastic! The bathrooms are builder grade ok, no problems. The TV would not turn off demo mode and that was annoying. Plus, there is only 1 TV in the cabin. The biggest issue was the downstairs mattress has zero support left. I tried sleeping on both sides and the middle, with no success. (I am not large and do not have back issues.) It needs replacing. Fortunately the sofa was comfortable and I slept on it. The upstairs mattress was more firm / supportive, but needed some luxury like a topper. Teen slept on it ok. Enjoyed having two working bathrooms. The decor was rustic, mountain cabin. It is a good value for the money. But I was glad we had a short visit since the bed was a problem.

The home and view are to die for! Second time there! Will be back!

Great property. Wonderful views. Would stay again.

Cute place. Great view and location. Furnishings a bit run down. Limited kitchen/cooking supplies. No washer/dryer. One time visit is enough.

Very nice cabin. Hot tub was new and wonderful. Everything was fine. FYI, the upstairs bedroom does not have doors separating it from the rest of the home. There is also an open area above the knee wall by the stairs so privacy would be an issue if the are more than one couple staying in the cabin. We were alone so it was fine for us. The air hockey table is just a kids sized one, maybe 36 inches by 18 inches. Would love to see a full sized pool table in the future.

It was easy to find and all the amenities work perfectly

Over all the stay was great nice view. Unfortanly the hot tub was broke and could not get in which is the reason I choose that cabins was bc we wanted to relax in hot in.

The view of the mountains from the huge side windows was amazing!

The view was wonderful from the cabin. However, there were problems with the property as it was advertised.
1. The Hot Tub did not heat the entire time of our stay. The sent a tech out one time and they left as soon as the tub indicated it was heating but never went above 73 degrees. They promised to send a tech the next day but the tech was a no show. The main reason we rented this cabin was due to the fact it had a hot tub on a covered porch. The property manager just strung us along stating they would take care of it but never did.
2. The wood burning fireplace was not usable due to a chimney issue but we were not told that until after check in.
3. We had to spend 2 hours defrosting the refrigerator’s in door ice maker.
4. Vacasa was not helpful in resolving issues as their automated telephone problem reporting system was a nightmare to deal with.
In conclusion, this was our first experience with a VRBO or renting a cabin and we did not receive the value or amenities we were promised from the property listing as our 4 night stay was quite expensive.
No other properties were available to us to swap too but we could not confirm that. If you list a property that list extras and other amenities like hot tubs, they should be functional and usable.
I feel like we were just a source of money and nothing more.

We loved our stay at the Grandview cabin in Sautee Georgia this past weekend! The house was clean, well appointed, comfortable, and had an amazing view of the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. We will definitely come back!

Our first impression of Grandview Cabin was very positive. It’s a cute little place with definitely GRAND views. We had corresponded through VRBO to ensure that the cabin had proper access for two full-size pick-up trucks and motorcycle trailers. Upon entering the neighborhood, we had cause to doubt the party we spoke to, as the two hairpin turns were a bit daunting the first-time in.
The driveway and parking area seemed much smaller than the photos had led us to believe. We assume a fisheye lens was used to photograph the cabin and surrounding area as there was not, in fact, room for two trucks, with trailers and four motorcycles in the driveway and parking area once we unloaded. One truck and trailer had to be parked off to the side of the road. Neighbors, however, were wonderful as we had no issue with this the whole week.
The cabin had the same problem. While cute and cozy, it also immediately struck us that it was much closer quarters than the photos made it seem. This was not a real problem, but we felt mislead in retrospect.
Bedrooms and kitchen were fully stocked with linens and dishware. Clear instructions were left for the Wi-Fi, TV and Gas grill; however, there were no instructions at all for the hot tub – a major draw when searching for our vacation getaway home this year. After multiple attempts to start the hot tub – pushing buttons and checking the breaker box we reached out to the Guest Services 800 number only to be told the system was showing that th

The view was beautiful the town was super nice reminded me of the olden days would definitely come back

The property it nice, but Support was not very good. Although they responded in a timely manner, they did not resolve any of our issues. They said they were sending someone to fix the hot tub but no one ever showed up. The water in the hot tub was very, very cloudy.

I don’t think you could a better place to stay in this area. This place is perfect and has everything you need—towels, dish soap, everything! We had a great time and will definitely book again for a return trip! Thank you!!!!

The cabin has a very rustic and beautiful charm. The floor plan was very nicely laid out, and very spacious. King size master bedroom on the first floor, and another king size master on the second floor. The side of the house that faces the mountains is almost all glass, offering an incredible view of Chimney and Tray Mountain. Screened back porch was also a plus. I would also recommend vacasa as a company to rent your vacation stay with. They went above and beyond expectations to accommodate us after an unforseen circumstance caused them to have to cancel our original reservation at the last minute, I mean literally the day before we were to arrive. Hats off to them for a great job.

After finding the listing, we were very interested in staying but concerned about recent reviews about the hot tub situation. We reached out to ensure this wouldn’t be a problem and was advised by Vacasa that the issues had been addressed. On the morning of checkin, I reach out again to verify the hot tub was clean and in working condition and was again advised there would not be any issues. Checked in and found the hot tub utterly disgusting despite repeated being told otherwise. The management company has been unresponsive, would not discount our stay, and still charged us a hot tub cleaning fee even though we couldnt use it (nor was cleaned after the last renters). I would completely avoid this property and any others managed by Vacasa in the area.

Our stay was great but unfortunately I got sick and we had to leave 3 days early after spending a day in bed. Always get insurance to cover if something happens and you have to leave if it’s no fault of yours.
The place was clean, we did not get to use the hot tub and having a fireplace was great!!! Thank you

The cabin was nice and the view was beautiful. The Neighboord was very nice and quite. The only prob was when we got there we had to wait 30 min before getting into the home due to it still being cleaned and was supposed to be ready 4:00 pm and we were‘nT able to unload and get into the property til 4:30pm. Also first thing we wanted to do was soak in the hot tub and it was an ice boxes. My suggestion would be to call the property manager a few days ahead to ensure it’s on and working properly before your stay. It took about a day in a half to get up to 100 degrees and we were only there for 2 days. So that was very unfortunate because that’s why I booked the cabin in the first place. I will say the property manager and maintenance team were there quickly to remedy the situation and they did all they could.

Hot tub did not work and managing group was unwilling to repair or discount the billing or relocate us even though they knew prior to reservation and did not disclose the amenity was inoperable prior to reservation. We relocated ourselves overnight on the first night of our stay and recovered the enjoyment of our vacay with amenities we were promised from you but did not receive.
4.4
Hot tub had no electricity and I reported to Vacasa right after checking in, I also drove to local Vacasa office, Helen, GA, twice the day after checking in, they knew about my problem, and no resolution or option was offered.
Online description didn’t mention the hot tub was not working.
My vacation was very disappointing.

We enjoyed our trip to Helen and this house was wonderful! The house was just as pictured... very clean, comfy beds & couches, beautiful view and close to Helen. We especially loved the hot tub!
4.4
Beautiful cabin in a great location with beautiful views. Cozy fireplace, plenty of wildlife to watch. Deer visited every morning and evening even while sitting around the fire pit. Beds are firm, but fairly comfortable. Bed frames are very noisy though. Enjoyed the jacuzzi in the evenings and a warm fire in the fireplace and the couches are comfy.
Only downside was the wasps (4+) in the upstairs windows inside. My husband is allergic so we were spending most our "relaxing" time inside keeping an eye on them. Noticed a can of wasp spray in the cabinet under the sink so it's obviously a problem. Perhaps some better preventative measures to keep them from coming in would be better? Also, some cozy chairs for the fire pit would be much appreciated. Overall, we would stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

Booking with Vacasa was easy. Cabin was clean and jacuzzi was relaxing. We roasted marshmallows in the fire pit that was provided. Had a fantastic time!
4.4
It was a perfect time of year to enjoy the fall colors and Oktoberfest in Helen. The cabin lives up to its name "Grand View"
4.4
The fireplace was inoperable. I called the management company and they did not resolve this issue. Half the hot tub jets did not work.
Would have preferred more than 1 tv in the cabin.
The view was great, cabin was clean
4.4
I did not want to leave. The cabin was clean. It had everything we needed. The view was spectacular, and it was so peaceful. Saying we enjoyed our stay is an understatement, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back and stay at this cabin again.
4.4
Overall we had a wonderful time at this cabin.
The view was beautiful!!!
Cabin was smaller than it appears in the pictures.
My biggest complaint is the beds and the linens...both were old and uncomfortable.
4.4
This property has a green area with table and chairs for viewing the mountain, but if the weather doesn't cooperate, the floor to ceiling windows of the living room provide the same view. It's a quiet neighborhood, so relaxing there was easy. The home is well-equipped though could use some updates. It was clean and comfortable. We did not use the hot tub, but there is one on a screened in porch with privacy provided by the tall trees. Be sure to arrive during daylight hours the first time you go to the home; the neighborhood roads are narrow. I would definitely spend time here again.

I stayed 3 nights with friends and my adult son with autism. The house was clean except minor missed details in the kitchen. Open windows allow you to enjoy view of mountains. Washer/dryer hookup is available upstairs but appliances were not available. This is a great convince for families traveling with small children or those with special needs. The upstairs “bedroom” is nothing more then a loft with bedroom furniture not allowing for privacy or regulation of sound. It can get quite noisy in the home with can alter sleep routines for kids. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay at this cabin again…

We are coming back
We’ve been coming to Sautee Nacoochee since 2018 with our kids every year and we want to still doing it. But honestly WE LOVED THIS CABIN, our favorite so far. It was perfect, so cozy, clean, and a great place to create memories with our family! We are definitely coming back next year (probably this year again😊).
