The cabin was wonderful. Pool was clean and well taken care of. The cabin is large and spacious. The floors flexed and made noise a little when people would walk on the floors above you but we got used to it. You are a little bit out of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but that’s what we wanted. The road to the cabins is a small two lane road with hardly no traffic. Overall nice big cabin with great pool and hot tub.

What a great place for our family of 12 with our kids and grandkids. We stayed for one week. The pool was nice for our grandchildren. The additional of pool, fire ring, grill, TV and extra decking made for that additional space to spread the family out on the property. As often happens with wood cabins, the floors and stairways were creaky and we heard any late night and early movements. We are repeat customers of Elk Springs. It is our first choice to find cabins for a large family, small family or just the two of us.

As a first timer in the mountains of Gatlinburg, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect of the area or the rental but everything was beautiful! The cabin is conveniently located within 10 minutes of local stores should you need to restock on any personal belongings. Onsite accommodations are clean, spacious, and well maintained. The heated pool was a highlight of the stay! Our friends group all agreed we have to return in the Fall to experience the foliage from the wrap around deck located on the center level. Check-in/out process was simple and stress-free, and property management quickly responded to any inquiries we had. Overall perfect stay!

We had a wonderful time. The location is great with plenty of level parking. Convenient to the arts and crafts loop. The cabin was clean and everything was in working order. We had a early Thanksgiving dinner and the only thing we were missing was a second 9 by 13 casserole dish. The kitchen even a Kerrigan with 6 coffee pods! Pool has towels and restroom to change in the separate pool house. There's an alarm on the pool door that surprised us but it was easy to figure at (and there's instructions posted by the door). We enjoyed movies in the theater room. The recliners were extremely comfortable and there were super soft blankets on the rockers. We used the firepit with morning coffee. Theres not really a view from the balcony, just woods, but fairly private. We had older teens and young adults with us and all had a great time. The floors are squeaky, especially in the kitchen, so no sneaking around. Overall it's a great cabin with an awesome pool and amenities.

The cabin was excellent, the pool house and outside decks were perfect. We would NOT reserve this cabin again for two reasons: 1) every door and all the floors creaked loudly and 2) the kitchen was not well appointed with enough coffee cups, dishes, pots and pans or utensils.You would think the cleaning crew would have reported that the doors needed to be "oiled" and the floors were exceptionally creaky.

We had a great stay at Lumberjack Losge. The house was clean and ready when we arrived. The communication from the company was easy to follow and made check in easy. The house itself was perfect for our family with room for everyone to comfortably have their own space. We enjoyed using the hot tub. The kids loved the pool. The outdoor deck with a TV was perfect for relaxing and watching football. The location was also great and a short drive to downtown gatlinburg. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

Thank you Elk Springs Resort for a wonderful Labor Day family weekend. Lumberjack Lodge did not disappoint. It brought our family together in a beautiful rustic atmosphere. We felt like we were staying in a treehouse. It was clean and equipped with everything we needed for our family reunion. Our vacation rental experience was wonderful. The pros outweighed the cons. Pros: We had enough room for everyone. Parking was spacious (we had 3 cars). Customer service was very informative, understanding and available. For activities we truly enjoyed the Diamond Heist Escape Room and the Alcatraz Museum!! Cons: For movie night the sound system wasn't as loud as we expected. There was a water bottle left in one of the movie seats. Instead of putting the top sheets on one of the beds,they were folded on the bed rail. Crumbs found in chair at dinning table. Despite the cons, we are looking forward to returning. :)

Nice cabin and plenty of room. Kids enjoyed the pool. The cleanliness of the cabin is not great. The bed sheets had hair and eyelashes on them. Dishes and spatulas had food still on them. The office handled it well and sent clean sheets.

The cabin was not cleaned as one would expect a hotel or vacation rental to be cleaned. There were sticky films on the night stands, flooring, and windows. The bedding is old and worn. The air hockey table had a broken paddle, the washing machine did not work, and there was a smoke alarm chirping because of a low battery.

We had a great visit at lumberjack cabin. It is in a great location ! Not far from Gatlinburg and about 30 minutes from pigeon forge. The beds are very comfy, plenty of room for your whole family to stretch out or hang together ! The only things I would change extra heater in bottom floor( we did everything they suggested but was still very cold) nicer bath towels and a different shower head or glass doors on shower upstairs very hard to keep all the water off the floor !

Amazing, our family had a fantastic time!!! The cabin is beautiful but the cleaning not so much. There were lots of cobwebs, cheese curls on and in the couch and the large windows in the living room were filthy. It was “surface “ clean only.Also, when we booked we were told that an indoor pool was being put in and could possibly be done when we arrived. We called the morning we were to check in to verify if it had been completed. We were told yes..... it was NOT! Very frustrating!! The staff we spoke to were very professional and friendly but apparently not very knowledgeable on the specifics of the property.

The cabin was spacious and very clean. All appliances worked and we had a great time. I would suggest an upgrade to the cookware to include some type of skillet. Also, renters need to know that the water gets extremely hot. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again. The porches were very inviting and relaxing.

The size of the cabin is perfect for two families. This was our second visit to Lumberjack Lodge however I do recommend some updates. The bathroom on the main level smelled of urine terribly upon arrival. The third level began to smell on day three. The bed sheets need to be replaced. We should have been told there was construction adjacent to the cabin. The rocking chairs on main level were encased in spider webs. There were multiple kitchen utensils dirty. The cabin was very clean on our first visit in 2011. This visit was disappointing from a cleanliness review.

Dirty soiled sheets, stained bed mattress covers, dirty tubs, broken kitchen sink stopper, black dirty broom (molded), dirty dishes, crud in the bottom of the kitchen trash can, toilet water leaking in the bottom bathroom, obvious fingerprints of previous guests on surfaces. Me and my family were totally and utterly disgusted. We wanted a refund , was told no. I was refunded $100 for the cleaning and they offered to resend out house keeping. So help me understand, if they did not do their job originally why in the hell would I ENT them to com out and try it again. I will never book through this site again. It is a bait and switch and the customers did stuck. My family and I were looking to have a great vacation and it was ruined from the moment we walked through the doors of the fact were staying

HI!! My friends and I stayed here for the weekend and had the BEST customer service care!! We woke up the next morning noticing that the fridge was not cooling properly and by 4:00pm they had it replaced!! (10 Stars to CUSTOMER Service and Management!!)

Overall it was an enjoyable stay. The only issues we had were the mattresses need to be replaced. They were like sleeping on a concrete floor. Also the pillows were flat, if you're booking this cabin I recommend bringing your own pillows.
