About this house rental

Enjoy a little bit of paradise at this cozy, open concept home. Fully renovated with Brazilian cherry flooring in the living and dining areas and kitchen. Convenient to everything the island has to offer; our beach access to the Gulf of Mexico beach is a quick walk away. The heated, in-ground swimming pool is yours alone and next to a spacious patio and expansive deck.

The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, while the other bedrooms have queen beds. Flat screen televisions are in two of the bedrooms and the living room. There is excellent wi-fi service to keep you connected. Updated, fresh linens for bed, bath and beach are included and a full-size washing machine and dryer are located in the family bathroom.

A full complement of dishes, glassware and cooking utensils fill the generous kitchen cabinets. Dishwasher, microwave, stove and refrigerator with icemaker make meal preparation easy. The newly remodeled kitchen with quartz countertops is adjacent to the dining area and sundeck, both of which have tables with seating for 6. The charcoal grill can be used on the patio or on the deck.

Beach chairs, umbrella and toys can be found in the storage shed on the ground level. The island's bike path is directly across the street and parallels the specially-designed jogging trail.

For those rare too-chilly Florida nights, or just for a little more ambiance, the living room fireplace helps make everything more comfortable. A selection of books and an outdoor fire pit make relaxing even easier.

We had the best time at the house and visiting Boca Grande. Karl called us and emailed us with the information to get into the house a couple days before arrival which was very reassuring. We had all the towels, supplies, beach umbrella, chairs, toys, etc. we needed for our stay. The pool was great to have and we rented a golf cart to get to and from town. We rented a car but only used it to get to and from the airport. Everything we needed was on the island and it was very nice not to have to get in the car with our kids (2&4) during our vacation. We stopped at Walmart before getting to the island for groceries and cooked a lot at the house. The house was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals. We definitely want to stay again! Thank you for letting us rent your home on Boca Grande! We had a great stay and time!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time! I can hardly put into words the experience we had on the island! This rental property was superb and we felt right at home! House and pool were excellent. Clean and well equipped. We rented a golf cart which we used to go downtown for dinner each night. We had the beach to ourselves and our home was very private and quiet. Can’t say enough positives about the property and location.

Seclusion at its BEST

This property is well-appointed and super clean. The property owner is accessible when needed and communicates in a timely manner. We appreciated the abundance of comfortable beach chairs (at least 6 were there... maybe 8), two beach umbrellas, fishing equipment, and other accessories you made available to us during our stay. The walk to the beach was short, but we did rent a golf cart to enjoy for the week. It made the 5 minute walk to the beach a 1 minute walk, which was nice with all of the stuff we carry to the beach. It was also great to cruise back and forth on to town and explore the island. There was NOONE else on the beach. We had it all to ourselves! In the week we were there, we may have seen 4-8 other people on the beach walking. The only other beach dwellers were the many turtle nests that surrounded us, birds, and other beach wild life. The pool and various outdoor sitting areas were nice. Please be sure to bring bug spray. The no see-ums/mosquitos can be brutal for some in this region (this has nothing to do with what the owner does or doesn't do). They didn't bother my husband or my brother-in-law, but I was eaten alive. We hope to be back very soon!

I can't say enough about the house and Karl. To start things off, before our stay, Karl called to give us the run down on the house and welcome us. He was very nice and gave us thorough instructions on everything. The house was amazing. It was well kept and clean. It had everything we needed. It was also a nice bonus to have beach chairs already at the house. The private pool was really great. It was nice to be able to put the kids down for a nap and be able to still go hang out at the pool. It was a huge perk and we can't go without it on a trip to Boca Grande again. My family has been coming to the Island since the 80's and we've never stayed at a place that we've enjoyed as much as this. I highly recommend. We will definitely be back and we're already planning our next trip!

The pool in the house is the best part! Florida is can get hot and the beach can be taxing so it’s very nice to have a pool to chill out in. The open floor plan is very cool and the kitchen was big enough to cook all meals inside rather than going in to town. We did go in town on Saturday and a lot of stores were closed. Not sure if it’s normal or due to Covid. Anyway, you won’t be disappointed with the house.

A perfect setting for our family's get together! plenty of space, indoors for sleeping, but also outside for playing. Despite rain most days (unusual), we still had good weather for corn hole (which we brought with us), pool time and grilling. We love Boca Grande! and this is a GREAT location! Downtown is a short cart or bike ride away. South Beach cocktails, Loose Caboose lunch and Millers Dockside for dinner. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us. We are hoping to do it again very soon :-)

We enjoyed a 3 week stay on Gasparilla Island (Boca Grande). The area is lovely with miles of bike/walking trails, great restaurants, and uncrowded beaches. The open floor plan home is only a short 5-minute walk to the beautiful and nearly deserted beach. The island walking and bike trails are just across the street. The owners have furnished the home nicely with all necessary amenities and comfortable beds. The pool is among the best we've rented, heated to the perfect temperature, and quite private. Most importantly though, we wish to recognize the owners. We experienced a death in the family which necessitated arriving 3 days later than we had booked. We did not request a change to our fee, but the owners unexpectedly refunded the cost of the 3 days! We were so impressed with the property and owners we hope to rent again next year!
