About this house rental

Very cute and updated 1930’s cottage tucked in the middle of wine country under beautiful oak trees and rolling hills. This cottage has a full bath (double stalled shower), living room, full kitchen, and 1 bedroom with new queen size bed. Cottage has amazing views of local vineyards and is only 2 miles from town and 15 miles to the beach.

This cottage was originally built as a Carriage House in the 30's. Its a very unique, charming, quite, cozy place to stay. Ride your bike or drive to local winery's or take a 15 minute drive to the beach. We are right off Highway 46 West. Located in the 'Templeton Gap' you can escape the heat, guaranteed cooler weather here with a slight afternoon breeze from the coastal influence.

Free parking, outdoor space, BBQ, fir-pit and gorgeous views. Less then 1 mile from Paso Port, Hunt Cellars, Niner Wine Estates, 4 Lanterns, Tooth & Nail, Venteux, Lone Madrone Winery, Shale Oak Winery, Red Soles Winery, Linne Calodo Cellars, Turley Wine Cellars and many more.

Owners live on property but your stay will be very private. We have ranch dogs, barn cats, horses and cattle (parts of the year).

My husband and I stayed 3 nts. What a unique little cabin, loved being in the forest of oak trees. Felt like we were in a wilderness getaway, but our favorite winery, Hunt Cellars, was literally across the street on Hwy 46. We will stay here again. :)

We stayed two wonderful nights at the Coach House Cottage. The home was centrally located to easily access local wineries and the coast; however, it was located in a semi-wooded area which provided privacy and peace and quiet. The description of the cottage was accurate, the bed was comfortable, and check in was a breeze. We will return to the Coach House Cottage during our next visit to the area.

This cottage hit the mark in every way from views to cleanliness. We had a peaceful night by the firepit and enjoyed the gorgeous views of the nearby vineyards. Only wish we had realized how close several vineyards were and took advantage of that as well. Plan accordingly!

Just stayed 1 night but the place was beautiful. Well kept and in a great spot. The owners were responsive via the app but non existent in person which really made it feel like the property was all ours. Would we stay again? Heck yes!!!

The Coach House was off the beaten path but still accessible to area attractions. It was packed with thoughtful touches and felt like home at the end of the day. We loved waking up to the beautiful views and birds playing in the bird bath. In the evening a fire in the gas fire pit was the perfect way to relax. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a blast and wish we could have stayed longer (were here for just one night.) Easy check-in process and everything was accounted for. The house had great additions such as the smores, coffee and fire pit. We even met the resident ranch pup (black lab on the property.)

Great place to spend a couple of days, wineries galore near by including some within walking distance. Evenings at the property are nice and quiet, access to a bbq and full kitchen was great, and the fire pit outside was a bonus. The space is cozy and perfect for a couple or even a small family.

Very cozy place with grill, fire pit, and s’mores. But the fire pit wouldn’t work, and only the side burner on the grill worked, so we used that for the s’mores. The unit was attached to the carport, we didn’t realize that until after a few minutes of looking around. There was a very similar unit right next to it. Overall, it was a good experience. I would have like a message from the owner upon check in to ask us if everything was ok and if we had any questions.

We chose the Coach House because it was a cute cottage with beautiful views. We ended up having the classic, romantic anniversary weekend visiting wineries that this place was intended for. The Coach House is cozy, perfect for two people spending the weekend— we even ended up asking if we could extend the trip! But, unsurprisingly, it was already booked. Already planning for when we can come up with a reason to come back!!! Thank you for the best first year wedding anniversary we could’ve asked for!

If you enjoy nature beautiful views out of every window, s’mores on the fire and privacy this maybe the place for you. I took my boyfriend for his birthday and wanted exactly what we got. We got there early evening and watched the views of the rolling hills of grapevines. S’mores complaints of the owners. With it being a short drive to the beach I don’t know what would have made this better! Thanks for a great evening!

We had an absolutely lovely time in your sweet little cottage. We had all the amenities we would have wanted and we loved the fire pit outside that was so easy to use and kept us toasty while sitting outside. As older folks, the step-in shower was a nice bonus. The makings for S'mores was an extra delicious treat. We loved the view and the quiet and the feeling of home with your darling Percy visiting us in the morning and when we were sitting outside. We also appreciate the thoughtfulness in making it so simple to check out. We loved being in your beautiful spot and hope to return again. Thank you so much.

We loved this location. The Coach House was the perfect 'Home Base' for our daily excursions. First cup of coffee in the morning and wine in the evening on our 'Patio' overlooking the vineyards was the icing on the cake. We'll be back!
