This masterfully crafted Executive Lodge is located in Old Greenwood outside of Truckee, North Lake Tahoe’s Premier Four-Season Resort Community and framed by eighteen holes of perfection, courtesy of Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf. 600 acres of towering Pines and meadows.
The home sits on over ¾ acre at the end of a private cul-de-sac on the 14 Fairway and features 4 suites, full guest quarters w/complete kitchen, 100 year old reclaimed Timbers, spacious great room, professional kitchen, 2 large stone fireplaces + 5 spacious exterior patios and decks which maximize privacy and unobstructed views of Northstar Mountain and ski resort.
Take advantage of a free shuttle to Northstar Village right from your door. Leave your car behind and enjoy the great shopping, restaurants, and skiing Northstar has to offer.
There is an option of accessing the Private state of the art Club House facility on site which includes a restaurant, heated pool, hot tub, spa services, kids playroom, steam room, and exercise gym. We loved this house, it was very spacious and well stocked for our group. Old greenwood is a special place and we loved our time here. We spent time at the pavilion, easy to drive to donner or Lake Tahoe. S’mores by the fire pit was a highlight for the kids as well as the Hot tub!
We can’t wait to return!

Spent a few days with our five grandkids and two of our adult children. Had a great time in a spacious and well appointed home. Great activities for the kids and close to other amenities. Would do it again for sure. Well worth it.

This beautiful house suited our family gathering perfectly, with bathrooms for each bedroom and many gathering spaces. The property was set in a pretty and peaceful community and it is conveniently located near Truckee. Having access to the pool club was a huge bonus.

This is the perfect location for a quick and easy golf trip for a group of 10-12. It’s minutes from tons of top notch courses and the house was great to hang out and relax after a long day on the course.

I highly recommend this 4-bedroom “cabin”. We used all 4800sq’ of it. Each of the four bedrooms had their own full bathroom + an additional full bathroom upstairs in the game room (that has an extra large couch that converts to another bed - if needed). I was impressed with all the “patios/balconies” so each person had their own personal space in the mornings to enjoy coffee or teas. I counted six of those areas + the fire pit circle.
House was well built with heavy doors; soundproofing sleeping quarters.
I’m referring this “house” to our friends and neighbors partly because the owner Steve was so easy to work with. This was our first time renting here and we’re coming back next summer for a week.

Perfect location. Beautiful property. Large enough to accommodate 3 families. Not too fancy but very comfortable for children. Will certainly stay again.

A few little issues but overall a great house. The fold out bed in the game room didn’t work and the air hockey table has a broken cord so it didn’t work either. The cleaning company also didn’t do a very good job (trash was still full, cobwebs throughout the house, dirty floors, cabinets are a mess with dishes and pantry goods spread out in no particular order, etc.) but we dealt and had a great time. I recommend a thorough cleaning and reorganizing before anyone else stays here. We also had one of the kids who slept in the bunk room wake up with multiple spider bites, and we did see spiders throughout the house, so it makes me wonder if all the bedding was really washed before our stay. :(

We really enjoyed our stay here. The entire home was just so beautiful and serene. everything was clean and nicely furnished. Communication with the manager was prompt.

It was just perfect for a large group of 8 adults. Fully wwstocked and established kitchen, jacuzzi and ample beds. Steve was also super accessible and friendly. Highly recommend!

We had a great time in Truckee and really enjoyed this house. Having 4 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms was great for our group of 4 couples plus the garage apartment area for the teenagers. Enjoyed the pool table and Foosball table in the apartment as well. Kitchen was great and well stocked. Plenty of room for everyone to hang out together for meals and games. Nice to have garage space for 3 cars. Hot tub was great too. Had lots of snow and the streets were plowed regularly. The only challenge was the location / proximity to northstar with the holiday crowds. Normal transit time is 20 min but on the busy holiday days, either don’t go skiing or be prepared for very long transit (2-3 hours) to get to and from the mountain. Leave early regardless so you can get parking where you can walk to the lift instead of having to wait for shuttle. There is a shuttle from the neighborhood as well which some took - earlier departure is also better. Steve was very responsive and helpful. Thanks!

We have been to Old Greenwood 3 times and this house was our favorite! It is perfect for entertaining with a well equipped kitchen and tons of seating! The outdoor living is fantastic and has a beautiful view of the 14th hole of the golf course. They also had bikes for our family of all ages to use, as well as a ping pong and foosball table. The owner was easy to work with and does a great job of communicating! Perfect place for a family vacation.

The exterior of the house looked like something you’d see in a magazine. We enjoyed the house. Plenty of space. We never felt like we were on top of each other. The kitchen views of the golf course were beautiful.

Lookout Lodge at Old Greenwood near Truckee was the perfect home for our early summer family holiday. The home is well kept, clean, and comfortable with amenities for children, parents and grandparents. The two king and one queen bedroom with adjoining private baths were all large and tastefully appointed with spectacular views of the mountains and adjoining golf course. The kitchen with a six burner Wolf range and two overs was more than adequate to prepare meals for a 10 person family. The home's wood and stone architecture, large living room with high wood ceilings, large stone fireplace and landscape views of the mountains and golf course created a magnificent mountain lodge setting. Every morning the older adults would gather by the large fireplace to talk and have coffee. At the same time children were always in the upper recreation room using the pool table and other table games provided. In the afternoon the ping-pong table in a portion of the large garage was in use.
In the early evening we used the large outdoor grill for barbecuing and ate our family meal on the large dining room table adjacent to the living room. The large hot tub was very clean and the outdoor fire pit was a great place to gather in the late evening for libations, conversation and star gazing.
Overall we had a wonderful carefree family holiday in this magnificent mountain home and the owner, Steve, was always available and response by phone and text to the few questions we had. I highly recommend this home for a short or longer family/friends holiday. Truly a 5+star experience.

All I can say is we were hesitant to stay further than a walk to Northstar. But after being there for the entire week, it was the perfect spot away from the mountain. House is immaculate with plenty of room for everyone and then some. The wide open room was my happy place every morning as the sun came in. We’ll be staying there again. Thanks for having us!

This was a nice very big house with two family rooms, a living room, and two kitchens but surprisingly short on bedrooms (only 4) so it’s was a bit of a challenge to accommodate 12 (of which we were charged extra). Several items didn’t work, most noticeable was the hot tub. Also not working was one of the ovens and the water heater only had enough water for two showers before it got cold. For a large group like ours, this presented a bit of a challenge.

We had an amazing stay at this property. Owner was very easy to communicate with. Shared this with another family and there was plenty of room for all of us! Spa in the snow is perfect after a long day on the slopes!

The house is beautiful. Very spacious, enough room for everyone. Steve definitely communicated and promptly answered any questions we had. We had a little issue with the heater and he was on the phone with us. Checking in and out was super easy.
The kids snowboarded and skied at North Star. There was lots of traffic to and from in the morning for drop off and pickup. Allow extra time to get places.
Make sure you are well prepared food wise because everything closes pretty early.
If you forget something the local ACE Hardware next to Raley's has EVERYTHING gear wise, gloves, hats, jackets, etc.
We went into downtown Truckee, quaint small town. Loved the store called DRESSED and another shop called Totally Board for gear as well.
The snow was majestic and it was a really nice family vacation.

We had a great Thanksgiving at this beautiful home. We have 4 grown children and 2 son-in-laws. It was a hit with everyone! The hot tub was great. The rooms were big and had views of the Pine forest. Hiking is right out the door!

We decided that this might have to be an annual trip after staying at this property. Everything was great and beautiful about this house! Make no mistake the corn hole was a game changer! Beautiful property and the location couldn’t be better. We truly appreciate our host!

The house is great for a group (buddies golf trip) and offered amenities and layout conducive to fun and camaraderie. The only issue was that the trash had not been picked up from the prior occupants which created an overflow situation. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this property.

The house is beautiful and has a great layout for a couple of families. It is nice having two master suites for families that are sharing the property, along with the bunk beds. We have stayed in numerous homes in OG and having air conditioning is such a plus as many of the homes do not. The house has a great game room, fun outdoor activities and is located on a beautiful hole of the golf course! Always a pleasure walking the neighborhood and enjoying the pool. We always enjoy our time in OG and will definitely stay again at this property. .

This is a beautiful home which backs up to the golf course and surrounded by trees. The house has ample space for a large group to be comfortable. The spa was a wonderful escape and a fire pit is being built which will be an added attraction. The kitchen is well equipped but is in bad need of organization. A heads up--the home was advertised to accommodate 12 people. When I booked it for 12, there was an added fee of $350. All said and done, it was a wonderful rental with many activities close by.
