The Ramsey Mountain Lodge is in the perfect location to quickly get to all the outdoor activities Fayetteville and Ace Adeventure Park has to offer! The house was clean and cozy.

Super close to all the local activities you could do in town or around the Fayetteville and New River Gorge area. My group of friends had ample space and felt secluded at the house while still being close to all mentioned above. I’m so thankful for the best weekend with some of my best friends from near and far in the state I’m proud to call home!

Everything was as expected. We couldn't get the TV to work right but that was okay. The internet was on the very slow side but that is no fault of the post. The main portion of the grill would not light with the igniter and there were some hot spots but still did its job properly. The Horseshoes and fire pit were a big hit. The HVAC system worked really well and kept the house nice and cool even as it was well over 90° when we stayed. The location was ideal for the Cantrell rafting trip along with the horseback riding and zip lining.

Lovely grounds, property and location. Beautiful porch.
The listing says that it sleeps up to 14, but I would say that not if 14 adults. There were 10 of us and the bunk beds for 4 normal size adults would be quite uncomfortable. However, it would probably be great for kids

We had a wonderful time at the stone lodge, and were really impressed with how many things there are to do in Fayetteville. Thank you to Sally and Bill for making this property available for visitors!

I must say the Ramsey stone lodge has everything you need in a VRBO rental . Having used VRBO here in the U.S. and abroad multiple times this property is as I said perfect . One of things that was impressive about the home was the many cooking utensils that were available including multiple cookie sheets. The house was very clean which I think everyone appreciates in a rental. Nice towels in bathrooms , bedding even the bunk beds were comfortable. Having a bathroom and shower downstairs was super convenient for the five guys that stayed down there . Bunk beds and queen futon are downstairs.
When it rained briefly we shifted gears from cornhole to playing pool in the basement, nice table and just a great setup!!!!
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how kind and helpful Bill & Sally were to help make our trip one for the memories!!!
The lodge is so perfectly located if you want to go rafting or zip lining there are two of the bigger outfitters just a short drive away!!! We used Adventure’s on the Gorge and I must say they were EXCELLENT!! ( 4.5 drive away) .
Bill & Sally A BIG THANK YOU to both of you for allowing us the privilege to stay in your beautiful lodge. We so look forward to returning one day to do some more exploring of this absolutely stunning part of West Virginia.

We stayed at this house with a group of 10 friends. The house was perfect with so many beds. We enjoyed having a large private yard for corn hole and horseshoes. The firepit is a great addition to the yard, and it seats many people. Most of our time was spent outdoors, but having the pool table was nice too. The house was very clean, and there were plenty of linens. I would recommend this property to anyone and would stay here again myself.

Absolutely beautiful property located minutes from all New River Gorge has to offer. The kitchen appliances were pristine and worked well. The beds and bedding was comfortable. There was plenty of hot water. We didn’t try the grill or the fire pit, but both appeared nice. Plenty of room in the yard to play cornhole. Easy to communicate with the property manager, who was readily responsive. I would happily stay again.

Ramsey Mountain Lodge is a wonderful place to stay in the New River Gorge! Situated on a quiet road amidst the woods, it's private and secluded, but close to everything. Fayetteville is minutes away, and the New River Gorge Bridge is not much further. The house is clean, roomy and well-appointed. A great place to relax after a busy day of exploring in the Gorge or Babcock State Park. We loved the pool table!

Family reunion at Ramsey Mountain Lodge
This is the second time I’ve stayed at one of Bills property’s. This time we stayed at Bills Ramsey Mountain Lodge which is next door to Sugar Creek Chalet. We appreciate the close location to rafting and Fayetteville as well as the kindness, communication of Bill. The house is very clean and fit our needs for a two night stay.

Perfect family getaway
Our family getaway consisted of a set of parents their adult children and the childrens children, the home was the perfect spot to hold 12 people for a long weekend. The house is located at the end of a long road off the main highway snuggled in the woods. Perfect location for national park lovers and extreme sport junkies, we were just minutes from shopping and downtown. Our family hated to leave this beautiful home and wonderful wildlife. This Vrbo is definitely top notch and our family absolutely will be back. The owners are located close by if you need anything and they keep a spectacular home, very clean and well stocked. Our family brought games to play and decided to leave them for the next family to enjoy a fun family game night.

Family wedding retreat
Quiet, peaceful, feels like it is out in the country but actually is within walking distance of town using the elevated pedestrian crossing over the highway. Enjoyed watching birds, deer, rabbits, chipmunks, etc. from the porches. Our second time staying and we would come back again the next time we visit the New River Gorge area.

Perfect place
This home is located on a beautiful lot close to Fayetteville and the national park. We had 8 people, but the home can accommodate up to 14. There are two porches one on the front of the house, the other on the back. Great place to sit and enjoy the beautiful views. The kitchen was nice sized and well equipped. We had two big dinners there! The beds were super comfortable.

Great experience
Well stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes and pots and pans. The showers seemed to have been recently remodeled and the bath towels were nice and thick. The basement was chilly. We enjoyed the fire pit and plenty of room for the kids to run around outside.

Secluded Mountain Cabin
Very nice property with woodland surrounding it, yet close to downtown Fayetteville. Good location for all our outdoor activities in New River Gorge area. Especially enjoyed the outdoor firepit. Our 10 and 13 year- olds pitched a tent near the firepit and enjoyed a camping experience for a few of our nights.

There isn’t a better property within 100 miles from here. Close to downtown, but far enough away to enjoy yourself and others in peace. Very private and secluded. Loved it. Very clean house

Cabin in the woods!
What an amazing property for families or groups to experience the outdoors yet walk into town to eat/drink/shop. Generous amenities and fantastic layout. The kids hunted for bugs and enjoyed the fire pit. We used every fire place and porch available! Saw one buck out the kitchen window. Our activities nearby were off-roading at Burning Rock, rappelling with New River Mountain Climbing and the Bridge Walk. The house was in the perfect location for even 7-year-olds to walk the hills into town. We tried every restaurant and utilized Gourmet on the Gorge for prepared food to eat in. The kitchen is well stocked! The owners have thought of everything. I would stay here again if we come back to go rafting.
