'BeachDaze Bungalow' is a dazzling, inviting, and well maintained home that has all the comfort, conveniences and relaxing needs for you to enjoy your vacation. BeachDaze' is a short distance distance to the Ocean front or the Sound. This beach cottage is near public boat ramp/dock at the sound and the Avalon fishing pier towards beach. 'BeachDaze' has comfortable décor and all the furnishings so that this can be your home away from home. All you have to do is get HERE!

Come relax on the front porch with 2 Adirondack chairs to enjoy the summer breezes and sunsets. Some of the most amazing and beautiful sunsets on the east coast are right here in the Outer Banks. 2 Bikes to ride along the Sound (.5 miles from home). There is a new paved path along the Sound (1 mile from home), where you can run, walk, or bring your bikes to ride safely along the path. There are also a number of other paved paths going towards Wright Memorial and along the beach road! There is lots of public parking at the ocean front in case you choose to drive.

This cute home has central AC & Heat, full size washer/dryer for your convenience, as well as an hot/cold fully enclosed outside shower, This cottage has two bedrooms, both with queen beds tastefully decorated. The open and airy kitchen is fully equipped so you feel like you’re at home. The kitchen has a pantry and a center island that has 2 stools. There is a wide open living and dining room off the kitchen, which leaves plenty of room for watching TV with Direct TV, Netflix, Hulu and Roku, board games/cards, doing puzzles, reading, and enjoying each other’s company. FREE WiFi if you need to make this a 'working' vacation. There is wall mounted wide screen TV's in the living room and master bedroom as well as the florida room on the lower level.

We had a lovely time at the Beach Daze the home itself was clean comfortable and spacious. We were a short bike ride to the beach, and Terry the host was very accessible and helpful

I appreciated the communication with the host and the check in was easy. However the listing shows that there are no pets but unfortunately there was dog hair all over the couch and the carpets, plus there are animal smudges on the glass sliding door. There is mold on the shower curtain and some parts of the shower, the bathroom was a bit dusty and had hair all over the floor plus the shower was never cleaned from the previous guest since there was soap on it. We heard how clean this place was but unfortunately it was a bit of a disappointment especially when we have a daughter who has pet allergies.

The home was extremely clean and so very comfortable. I brought my whole kitchen with me from home and then realized the home is fully stock with ALL of your need. The house is well cared for. Definitely will rent again!!

We were very pleased with the clean, bright, spacious well stocked cottage. It was a peaceful neigherhood and we had a delightful neighbor who lives there year round. It was a convenient location to everything we wanted to do. Our daily coffee on the porch was most enjoyable.

Very short distance to the beach. The beach chairs and umbrella provided really made the experience great for us! And all the comforts of home for those rainy days. Of course, Terry was a great host! Will be back again :)

Had a great time! Comfortable and roomy stay. Easy to settle in and make it home. Minor items: There were a few light bulbs out and areas that appears spot cleaned in bathroom and around the house. Cobwebs in areas.

Located very close to the beach (2 minute drive) and lots of space. The couch looked dirty with stains and many dishes put away had food on them still. We also found several goldfish on the floor when we arrived. Despite the cleanliness issues, it was a great value for the price!

We loved the set up of the house and all of the amenities. Despite the rainy week, we had a great time. Very central location to the beach and other activities, stores etc. Nice short walk to the sound and a nice walking trail. Terry was very communicative. My only suggestion would be getting some darker curtains. My husband and I are very much blackout curtain people and the light made it hard to sleep in the morning. Otherwise we’d definitely stay here again.

We had a great time on Avalon drive. We enjoyed walking down to the sound side to see the spectacular sunsets. We loved the set up and ease of checkin and out. We would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful time in the OBX. It was our first time and this location was perfect! We were close to grocery and stores for shopping, a short walk for fishing, and many eateries close by. Being in central OBX made it a 30-60 min drive to far ends of island for the horses and Oregon Inlet. Will definitely stay here when we come back!

The property was nice and clean. The neighborhood was quiet. The beach was about a half mile away but crossing Rt 158 on foot did not seem safe, so driving to the beach was necessary. Overall great place to get away and enjoy the beach at.

It's a clean, quiet, comfortable place to stay. Building is in good repair and tastefully decorated. A little misleading to say you can walk to the beach. It's not far but you have to cross a very busy 5 lane highway to get there.

Terry's house is wonderful. We felt at home when we opened the door. House was super clean and had everything anyone would need. Kitchen very well stocked. Very good location, in the middle of everything. Highly recommend (except 2nd week in October, 😉, hope it will be available this week for years to come). Terry was very responsive when we had a door lock issue. Would give 10 stars if we could.

Beachdaze was exactly how it was depicted on the VRBO page. It was clean, nice open area for the kitchen and living room, 2 bathrooms, and the bedrooms were a good size with a TV in the master. Terry was an excellent host and fast responder to the minor issues that we brought up. Crossing the road to get to the beach was an adventure and a bit dangerous if you were to go by foot. We'd recommend folks drive to the public parking areas for sure. There were a few tiny ants in the kitchen area but were sprayed after we brought it up by the cleaning lady. Internet access was very slow (5mbps or so), so folks may find it difficult to stream and/or work from the location. Thanks again for the nice time.

This was my families first visit to the OBX. Our rental was located close to the beach and a short bike ride to the Sound side. Very convenient. Quiet neighborhood. Loved the outdoor shower was great after coming from the beach. Overall, nice place to stay, very comfortable.

This house was great. It is better than we expected and we would highly recommend it. My wife and I and 2 14 year old girls had a blast. Very close to Jockey's ridge, the Wright memorial and national park. The Avalon Pier was really fun for he girls and the adults. Great swimming in the ocean and great biking on the bay. Plenty of food options and plenty of grocery options. Just a great spot. The house was better than the description on VRBO. The girls had their own little apartment downstairs and us adults had privacy upstairs. Key . I would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time. The house was even nicer than I had expected from the listing. Great location that was super close to everything. My husband even locked us out one day and the homeowner was very patient and helpful. I would definitely recommend to friends or family!

We really enjoyed this property. There was plenty of space and the open kitchen/ living area was great! Really comfy furniture/ beds. Very clean! Really close to all the shops and restaurants. Really close to the beach, but there is a very busy high way in between which is hard (not impossible) to cross. Would definitely rent again!

This is a nice cozy modern cottage just blocks from the Atlantic ocean and Kitty Hawk Bay. Clean, well stocked and taken care of. Plenty of shopping and restaurants close by. Never a lack of something to do. My wife and I were very pleased. Thanks Again Terry for the great accommodations.

Great place to stay in and is so convenient to everything! We have really enjoyed staying here. Very clean, stocked with a lot of things you don’t have to go get at the store. Location is perfect, close to stores, beaches, Wright Brothers Museum and Jockey’s Ridge. Home has one and half baths, descent bedroom size and great open kitchen, dining and living room area. Terry has been awesome in answering any questions we have had!

Cute house, bright inside, nicely decorated! Close to beach in a nice neighborhood. Owner was super to work with when I had a computer glitch during the rental sign up! Love the no pets rule due to family allergies! When they finish the first floor addition of what I'd call a 3 season type of room it will be lovely to hang out in!
