The place was better than expected! The condo was very clean and close to the beach! Mike was very efficient and attentive. The restaurant at the rest was the best.. a must try! The deck is the name of the restaurant. Looking forward to our next visit

Two adults and one 8 year old (but there was plenty of room for more people) - We stayed here for four nights. The condo was very clean and well stocked with essentials. There was easy access to the pools and The Deck restaurant and bar was great to have at our disposal. It is the easiest beach access we’ve ever had at Tybee and the beach area wasn’t overly crowded and had chair and umbrella rentals. The luggage carts and elevator were also very handy! The owner is super nice and called us personally after check-in to welcome us and see if we had any questions. We would definitely stay here again and would actually prefer it to anywhere else we’ve stayed on Tybee!

We stayed at Gulf Reef 636 during spring break. The location was great and our host Mike has thoughtfully equipped the condo with everything we needed to have a great stay. There were even beach chairs and some beach toys in the guest closet that we used. That was a great bonus since we were traveling with a three year old, a pre-teen and a teenager. The condo was super clean and well maintained. We have not been to Tybee in several years and were pleased to have a welcoming and nice place to stay. We all enjoyed the heated lap pool and the older kids played in the other pool as well. I would recommend this condo to anyone and hope to stay there again some time.

This condo was everything that was promised! Bright and roomy, well stocked and close to the beach. The elevator and luggage cart made it so easy to get everything from the car to the room. Mike did an excellent job of making check in easy and giving recommendations for restaurants and things to do. We really enjoyed our stay!

Mike’s condo was perfect for our stay. It has a view of the beach and was nice to sit on the balcony at night to relax. He has everything you need for vacation and very comfortable beds as well. It was the little things that you don’t think about that he supplied - toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, laundry detergent and even an ice pack for your cooler to name a few. We would definitely recommend his property for your next vacation. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home.

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway. The condo was clean, and updated with amenities. The location was close to everything that we needed. The check in email was thorough which made it easy to get settled in. Mike was nice and accommodating. I would rent this place again.

From the pre-trip communication from the owner clarifying in detail all the information we would need, providing all the materials necessary, and even giving us helpful insider tips; to the ease of access, cheery cleanliness, nice balcony, great pools, convenient ocean access, and much more - all at a very reasonable price - we would highly recommend this rental. We had a relaxing, carefree and very enjoyable week there!

Amazing Getaway

Amazing Getaway

This was the biggest relief! Our first time booking with Vrbo and Mike was amazing! From explaining the condo and amenities as well as the surrounding area. We had a Great time! Love that the beach is relaxing an you don’t have to run out at 6 am to claim your spot. The pool was beautiful and perfect for our daughter! The balcony was nice and enjoyed sitting outside playing cards. Definitely would recommend!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and well kept. A short walk to the beach and I LOVED sitting on the balcony while I read in the evenings. We’ll definitely be back.

Good clean condo. Well equipped. Good location on Tybee Island. Short distance to Savannah where we spent most of our days. Great beach at Tybee but were not able to enjoy because of weather. Mike made sure we had everything we needed while we were there. We would stay there again.

The beach is literally a minute walk out of the parking lot! The condo was spacious and fit my six person family well. The amenities to include a jacuzzi tub were top notch. When we visit Tybee again I will definitely check for this properties availability first.

This rental was perfect for our family of four. It had plenty of space, fully stocked kitchen to cook, even storage containers for leftovers! The towels, sheets, and beds were great. Pillows could probably be replaced in the master, but that's really the only fault I could find. The unit was very clean! It had easy access to the pools and beach. The onsite restaurant at the pool was great for dinner one night and to get drinks or burgers during the day for the kids. Not cheap but food and drinks were good. It's a little hike to the popular area but it was such a beautiful walk, we didn't mind. It was actually nice to have it less crowded on the beach.

The condo was great! It had everything we needed and was clean. Walking distance to the beach! The condo windows look out onto Butler Ave and the balcony looks out over the side street. We did experience some noise issues on the last night/morning from the guests below us as well as some very rowdy folks who were in the complex.

This was our first family vacation as a foursome and Mike and Sally's condo did not disappoint! We immediately felt at ease when we walked in and were so impressed with the amount of space, the cleanliness, and the amenities. My toddler had a lot of fun on the balcony, and even began saying "ocean!" when he would wake up so I could take him to watch the sun rise. I almost don't want to write a great review so people don't snatch this place up for next year. Mike and Sally, thank you for being such generous, responsive hosts, and we can't wait to come back next year.

We visited from the Atlanta area with our teenage boys for an end of summer weekend. This condo is beautiful and it was spectacularly clean with all of the modern conveniences of home. We enjoy Tybee a lot and this is the best property we have rented by far. Mike was super responsive and the check in/check out instructions are very traveler friendly. We look forward to renting this property again.

Stayed with a few friends for our annual girls trip. Loved our time on Tybee Island. The condo was great and so convenient to either go to the beach or spend time poolside. Enjoyed dinner one night at the restaurant downstairs and lunch and drinks another day. Easy ride to Savannah too. Spent a day sightseeing there with the hop on hop off via (toured Mercer House) and another night enjoying dinner at Elizabeth on 37th. We enjoyed dinner on Tybee at AJ’s Dockside and another night on Captain Mike's Dolphin Tour. Mike was amazing. Answered any emails very promptly and was a joy to work with! The condo was exactly as promised! Thank you Mike and Sally for sharing your condo with us!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about staying here. It is a perfect location. Easy walk to the beach (even with kids!). The space had everything you could need and was very welcoming and inviting. We will be staying here each time we come to Tybee.
