About this apartment rental
This unit is in the last condo building on Carolina Beach Avenue North. It has a unique view of the pier and a nice spacious living room area. It is on the first level. It has a large deck in front with a table, chairs and porch swing. Another deck is on the back off the master bedroom. Bright and fun. Complex has a pool and an Oceanfront Gazebo. Fully stocked kitchen. Master has a full bed while guest bedroom has a full bed with a twin bunk above. Queen sleeper sofa. Washer and Dryer in condo.

Great place for an quiet peaceful stay. The floors looked new as well as some of the appliances. The pics dont do it justice. Host was very nice and you can tell he cares about his guests and his vacation property. The fresh flowers were a nice touch. Will definitely consider staying again.

This was our 2nd stay at Dan’s. First time, they were filming a Netflix special & surrounded by film crews cool. We love the proximity to the CB North End where our dogs are welcome year round. The ocean is across the street. This trip, the pier was on point! Live reggae band- had front row seats from the balcony, good food. On your way in, pick up seafood & veggies at Seaview & take advantage of the well-stocked kitchen.
If you want bougie, not here. If you want a dog-friendly ocean front ish, great location with the basics—this is it. Dan is very helpful & provides great local recommendations..

Loved that I could take my pets as well as look out the window and see the beach. It was fabulous to walk across the street and be on the beach. The only thing I would suggest is a good deep cleaning to the unit as well as the furniture.

We love this place. This was our 4th year and are planning already for next year and adding a couple of more days. The weather wasn't that great it was really chilly and windy but as always we made the best of it. Being able to take our fur baby is a big plus also. We don't ever look for other rentals we have found our favorite and will look at no other as long as we can stay here!!!

We frequent Carolina Beach often This is one of the best locations we have ever had to proximity of the beach, pier, and Tiki Bar. The view is breathtaking! You can sit on your balcony and watch the sunrise!

We had a lovely long weekend in this Carolina Beach condo! It had everything we needed. The location was perfect and the porch was a great place to read and enjoy an evening cocktail. It was also so fun to be able to bring our sweet dog with us. Definitely plan on returning!

Loved the location and to have the beach access right outside was the best, especially having our husky travel with us. Low Tide Pier restaurant and tiki bar was right next door. All in all had a relaxing time to unravel and enjoy our time !!!

Great view
Property overall was great. Great view, size and functionality. Initially had problems with sliding door due to being close to ocean but host was very attentive to our needs and assisted in getting it to function. Condo could have been cleaner but it did not keep us from having a great time. Will definitely consider coming here again.

Great host, great location, great stay!
As others have mentioned, the space is so much nicer in person than in the vrbo listing. We were greeted with a fresh flower arrangement and enough paper towels/TP to last for a month! The A/C ran ice cold, the showers were hot and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prep and cook several meals. The furniture in the living room was super comfy, and arranged in a way that made having conversations easy. Communication before/during/after our stay was excellent, and Dan even offered us an afternoon checkout (which enabled us to stay and enjoy takeout from a few of our fave spots).
While not "on the beach" it's literally across the street and the balconies orientation provides an unobstructed view of the ocean and north end pier. We also lucked out that the Low-Tide Tiki bar re-opened just in time for Memorial Day weekend. This is a fun, low-key spot to enjoy a frosty beverage and take in the sights and sounds of the beach.
One of the main reasons we stayed at Dan's was to bring our newly adopted greyhound to the beach. Turns out she loved it and the single flight of indoor/carpeted stairs made it super easy for her to navigate up/down for walkies. In addition to walks on the beach before 9am and after 5pm, the entrance to Freeman Park is less than a block away and dogs are permitted (on leash) at any time.
If you are considering staying at Dan's place, I highly recommend doing so. Everyone in our group loved the clean, bright open space and would return in a heartbeat.

Great views and excellent location.
We absolutely love this place and they have built the beaches back up. The restaurant at the pier was closed and getting ready to open back up under new ownership. Also please do not leave your car unattended without the parking pass. I packed the car and went and took parking pass upstairs and did a quick walk through to make sure we didnt forget anything and come back and I had a $100 ticket on my car. Please make sure your other renters now how serious your parking passes are. Love this place cant wait to go back.

Perfect Spring Getaway
My husband, our pup, and I had a great experience. The view was amazing and the home was well equipped. Unfortunately, the weather was rather uncooperative with cold temperatures and high winds. We made the best
of it by reading, watching TV, and taking walks with our dog. Will definitely go here again.

Perfect location!
This was a great place for my dog and I. Had family visit the last couple of days and they were thrilled with the proximity to the beach. Dan is very easy to communicate with and responded to a concern immediately. I would definitely return!

Pet friendly
This is a great location and it is so nice to have pet friendly options for our getaway. I also really appreciated the "extras" that were provided. Not having to pack linens, towels, etc or wondering if I remembered to pack toilet paper or paper towels was a great perk.

Relaxing beach getaway
This was exactly what we hoped it would be, a low key relaxing location with fantastic views. We could walk out of the unit and be on the beach in less than a minute. Very pet friendly island along with the folks we met. Simple no frills location as far north on the island you can go. We enjoyed the pier tiki bar for food and drinks. Robin and Donna were very nice and made us feel like locals. Our host, Dan gave us a list of things to do, dining options as well as pet friendly places since our Labrador was with us. His unit had pretty much anything you would need for your stay. He even had wipes and sanitizer in the unit. The unit is less than a 5 minute drive to the heart of Carolina Beach and the boardwalk. We enjoyed the balcony view where you could see and listen to the ocean as well as the live music at night from the pier. Definitely recommend for folks that enjoy a more relaxed vacation. Place was a great location, spacious and perfect for the 3 of us. Parking is tight which owner is totally honest about. Loved being by the pier and listening to the live music from the deck. Smaller bedroom with bunk bed is warm- would be nice if it had a ceiling fan but we managed!

Just had to getaway
This property has everything thing you need...food close by...cold drinks close by...night scene just a few miles away....beach steps way. Stocked kitchen, beach items, bath supplies. The host is quick to reply and very accurate.

We had and great time at this property! The views and convenience to the ocean can’t be beat! It wasn’t as clean as we had hoped but it’s the beach and sand does get everywhere! We had a super nice time! The owner has everything for you all you need is your beach towels and have fun!

Great Stay
We loved this property! The location was perfect and it had a comfortable, relaxed feel. The live band that played at the Tiki Bar directly across from the condo added a wonderful vibe and feel to the area. Access to the beach and pier was just a few feet away making it easy for my family to spend the day at the beach or go for a last minute walk. The restaurants in the area were fabulous and everyone was welcoming and fun to be around. Returning for another vacation stay at this property is definitely in our plans! The owner was responsive, informative, and kind. We had everything we needed to truly enjoy a week at the beach.

Wonderful condo and great location
We had a great week! Dan was fantastic to communicate with and take care of a couple small issues (previous guest took parking passes with them and lightning damage to a cable box). He had two passes waiting for us and communicated what happened. Very fun location with awesome views! We loved our time and can't wait to come back!

Great Property Location and View.
Property was located close to the pier and the view of the ocean was great. Sitting on the balcony listening to the live music from the bar at the pier was an added bonus. It's almost impossible to keep a place clean with all the sand, but we felt it should have been cleaner upon check-in.

Beach living at it's finest!
I have to start with communications. The owner of the property is exquisite. His notes to me as well as texts far exceeded anything I could have imagined. If you're new to the area he will set you up in the right direction. Location, location and location! The immediate area does have some construction as well as the pier. The apartment itself is dated, but that doesn't detract from a very wonderful beach vacation. We thank you all !

Next to North End which is great for dogs & long walks. Fully stocked for all your cooking, linens, & beach needs. Enjoyed our stay cooking fresh seafood, playing board games, watching boats. So relaxing!

Great place.
We enjoyed every minute. Best beach trip ever. We watched a surfing contest on Sunday and then the rest of our week they were making a movie Along for the ride. We seen the house and lots of the crew but everything was being taped inside. They were gonna be taping outside Friday night so if we hadnt left thursday we could have seen the actors and scenes. The beach erosion when high tide is in is just like in the movies as it splashes on the rocks. Beautiful.
