This spectacular Fully Renovated in 2019, 4-bedroom 2-bathroom house is just a short walk (5 minutes) to one of the most beautiful, private ocean beaches in the Hamptons. The house is modern and spacious with cool ocean breezes and plenty of natural light. The house is set with spacious cathedral ceilings, many skylights and two wrap-around outdoor decks with ample seating for entertaining, watching the sunsets or looking at the stars. The Town of Montauk is located 2 miles from our house, the closest beach (private) is 0.5 miles from our house, and Gurney's Resort & Seawater Spa is 1.2 miles from our house.
On the first level there is a large sitting area with a couch and chairs surrounded by three large sized bedrooms and a full bathroom. One of the bedrooms has two large windows, a queen bed and overlooks the side yard. One bedroom has twin beds and four large windows that overlook the front porch and a beautiful flower garden. The other bedroom has five large windows and twin beds that overlooks the front and side yards. All bedrooms have full sized closets. Another full sized closet with games, books, and toys as well as a fully stocked linen closet located on this level.
The second level offers a large main room including a wood burning fireplace, large kitchen, living area and TV. It also offers a dining area for eight and surrounding windows, glass doors and skylights offering plenty of natural light and cool breezes.
There is a wrap around deck off this level with chairs/umbrella for additional seating of twelve.
Also, on this level is the master bedroom with another spacious deck with views of the entire yard. It includes a private bathroom.
There is a private enclosed outdoor shower that is great after the beach and a circular pebbled driveway that fits six cars. The basement has space for storage and a new washer/dryer.
This vacation house is located on a hillside with splendid open views from its decks. It is nestled in the Hither Hills area of Montauk, which is known for its charm, quiet, and surf.
You can walk to the ocean beach with your surfboard or beach gear in under 7 minutes or else drive down and park in any one of 5 private parking areas on the dunes. Renters will be given a key and parking pass for the private beach entrances for Hither Hill's homes part of MBPOA's association. In addition, the house has a 12 ft surfboard, paddle board and 2 person kayak available for use by guests.
The house is just minutes from Gurney's world-class spa and less than two miles to the town of Montauk with great restaurants and Hamptons nightlife.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hither Hills in Montauk. The house was well equipped and very nicely maintained. The location was also excellent close to our wedding destination at Gurneys and a short drive to town. The great beach was a short walk, but, unfortunately, we had 2 days of rain!

Beautiful, clean house however not the best for the vertically challenged!
The house was beautiful and very clean. The property manager was easy to work and always responded to emails in a timely manner. We did have some issues with the very tall cabinets. Very difficult to reach plates, bowls, glassware, etc. Even though a step stool was provided, it was still not very easily accessible for a couple of ladies in their upper 50’s and 60’s who are all under 5’5” tall. Another issue was that there wasn’t a pantry closet for storage for all of the food that we brought with us for the weekend. We had to leave everything in bags on the floor. Regardless of these minor issues, I would definitely recommend this rental.

Cozy Montauk Getaway
We had a wonderful stay at this home. The pictures accurately represent it. We very much enjoyed the fireplace, but you'll need to go get your own wood. We would love to come back in the summer as the house is close to the beach, equipped with coolers, bikes, beach chairs and more.

Stayed there for a wedding with 6 adults and two babies Columbus Day weekend. We brought a baby gate knowing there were stairs. Very comfortable beds which is so important. Very bright and sunny upstairs. Owner was very sweet and lovely to deal with.

Very comfortable house - felt like home! We experienced all weather in 4 days- hot & humid and cold & rainy. Lots of windows make it bright and warm, even when it's rainy. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen is well-stocked with dishes and cooking utensils etc. Highly recommend it.

Great Home & Location in Montauk
We had a fantastic stay at this clean and well-decorated home located in Hither Hills, Montauk. The owner must have been an interior decorator; the home furnishings are much nicer in person than in the photos. The home gave off such a charming vibe from the moment we walked in; it makes you want to stay forever! It was absolutely perfect for our family and friends looking to have separate rooms and bathrooms. The interesting layout of the house provided privacy to us in our bedrooms while the kids were watching tv in the living room, sitting in the dining room at night, or talking outside on the deck without bothering anyone else in the house. The decks are super private off the master bedroom and wrap-around the second floor kitchen/living and dining space. We enjoyed spending time in the dining room with cathedral ceilings and skylights. The house feels like a home. The private beaches are absolutely amazing, and the closest one is only a five minute walk/bike ride on a quiet street which is nice. It is so convenient to all the restaurants and shops in Montauk as well as all the best beaches in the Hamptons for surfing and other water sports. The owner, Stephanie, was extremely accommodating the entire week, checking in every now and then to make sure everything was going well. Stephanie is incredibly responsive. I would highly recommend this house for its comfort, location and charm. We are so excited to come back next year for a longer stay!

The perfect house with a great owner
This house was perfect. The upstairs is a wide open space which was exactly what we needed. The bedrooms are all very comfortable. Loved the wrap around balcony. The yard is large and beautiful. We really enjoyed waking up and taking a walk around the neighborhood. To top it off, the owner was extremely helpful and as nice as can be.

This was the perfect house for our large group. We were comfortable and impressed with the spacious, yet private and quite home. We could comfortably fit 8 people, including all our luggage and the gear of 4 bikers and surfers. The house had everything we could have asked for. It was clean, nicely organized and ready for each of us. The house was exactly as described. Four spacious bedrooms, a large wrap-around deck, and a beautiful kitchen, living and dining room along with an exceptionally large backyard. We also loved the outdoor shower! It was a great place to come back to after a day at the beach. We would definitely rent again.

Beautiful house, perfect location and amazing owner
Where do I even begin?? This house was amazing! We had four couples in our group and the house more than accommodated us. I loved the kitchen/ living area being so open and bright and the large wraparound decks were great for barbecues and group meals. All of the rooms were updated and very clean and I loved the huge lawn, which I could also see being great for kids. Everyone was very comfortable and we had no complaints. The beach pass would be nice during the summer months. Also, having a paddle board and kayak were great added features of the house. The house was perfect to return back to after a long day of exploring Montauk. Lots of privacy while close to the beach and town. Stephanie (the owner) is extremely accommodating and responsive and it is clear that she takes great pride in her house. She replied faster than any other owner I’ve had experience with and was extremely informative and helpful. We actually left a shopping bag in the house with some new clothes and shoes and Stephanie was very helpful and mailed it back by express. Highly recommend and we look forward to returning in the future!

Ideal Montauk retreat
Couldn't ask for a better place to celebrate a big birthday with friends with kids. Very clean, comfortable, spacious house with plenty of room and all amenities in an incredible, quiet location, 10-minute walk to gorgeous beach, a few minutes' drive to town (or a good walk on the beach!). The kiddos loved the big yard with swings, and everyone loved the sunny, big, high-ceilinged open kitchen-living room area where we could all hang together. Great deck, surrounded by trees (I think we heard an owl one night). Owner is a delight, responded immediately to questions. Didn't get to try the kayaks, but we will next time. Can't wait to go back.

Wow, where do we begin?
We had a great time at Stephanie and Tom’s Montauk beach house in Hither Hills. It was the ideal home for our 2 adults, 3 kids and a toddler. The house was roomy, clean, nicely organized and ready for each of us. There was enough room to have additional family units visit over the two weeks, with enough space to offer comfort and privacy. The kitchen was spacious, well equipped, and having all the linens included was super nice. It also had gorgeous high ceilings with a sky light. The large, second floor deck was great for morning breakfast and BBQ every day. The kids enjoyed playing on the big open field outside with the tire swing. The beach pass was invaluable, and allowed the convenience of going back and forth to the beautiful, un-crowded beach as needed for our three generations, including young kids. Stephanie, the owner was attentive and gracious. She replied to any questions immediately. We hope to return for another fantastic family vacation!

We had a family reunion with adults and the house was spacious and clean. Very convenient to downtown Montauck and Hamptons. Very easy kitchen to work in and great light from skylights and windows. Highly recommend for larger groups with upstairs and downstairs accommodations. We had a great weekend!
