Relaxen en ontspannen in Hopkins

De patio/tuin waar je fijn kunt zitten en op de kamer wat spullen om te ontbijten of te lunchen. De kamer is ruim genoeg. Fijn bed, kast en tafel om je spullen kwijt te kunnen. De douche is heerlijk. En ruim genoeg. Er zijn strandstoeltjes die je mag pakken en handdoeken. Je loopt daarmee zo naar de overkant het strand op. Waar je heerlijk rustig kunt zitten onder de palmbomen. Op 5 minuten lopen is een heerlijke koffie zaak, Roast. Het meeste in het oude Hopkins is te lopen. Maar er staan fietsen die je mag pakken. Erg fijn. Restaurantje aan de overkant is klein, op het strand maar leuk en erg lekker. Verder zijn Ella's en Peers een aanrader voor de avond en ochtend en lunch is Thongs heel goed en aan het strand.

Tip, vergeet niet de fietsen te onderhouden. Misschien nog twee erbij.

Perfect stay and true cultural experience.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved that bicycles were available. Our room was clean and stocked and had a beautiful courtyard. The location was perfect and close to everything. Can basically walk to everything. Would definitely stay again.

An OK stay

Courtyard was lovely except for the hard seating.

For a 7night stay we felt there should have been more worktop space to make a sandwich etc . No bowls for cereal, no can opener, corkscrew opener. Just a few extras for making a weeks stay better.

Had a great time, would stay again.

It was such a cute little place. We loved the landscaping and courtyard area with seating and hammock etc Our room was small, but it had everything we needed. Appreciated the mini fridge and kitchenette area so much! The bathroom was nice, too. It was excellent having bikes to get around and have the beach right across the street.

it’s pretty clean and nicely designed.

staff has a lot of attitude. My request for a missing blanket at 9pm went unanswered and my surprise the next morning got the response “we already work 12hour shift 7am-7pm. you had from your check-in at 5pm until 7pm to raise any concerns” (we didn’t realize the problem until after we returned in the evening. It’s hotel, not an office. internet was really weak.

Exceptional

Great location, laid back atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. There is a local bread truck and a fruit truck that stops by at different times each day with fresh fruit, bread and pastries that are delicious and affordable. A short walk across the street and you are at the beach. If you are looking for a place that is a bit off the beaten path to give you a genuine Hopkins experience at a reasonable price this is your place. We stayed 4 nights and could have used a few more.

too far from anything. ocean view is a mid-statement. see attached pix to see the ocean view. if you squint, you can see the beach. to get anywhere, including somewhere to eat, you need a mode of transportation other than your two feet

Exceptional

Breakfast was not included. The location was great because we wanted to be "in town" instead of at a beachside resort. We really liked to privacy of the courtyard and that we could hop on bikes to get where we wanted to go. The rooms were very clean and cool.

Great hosts, great place to stay while in Hopkins!

We had to book at the last minute, Tyler and staff fixed us up for our entire stay. We were very comfortable and very close to the beach. The rooms have everything, from coffee maker and fridge to Great WiFi and TVs with built in streaming.

I am a priss when it comes to my bed, the beds in the rooms with too hard and you can feel the springs. A few extra pillows would be great, (which I forgot to ask for)..

Great place to stay in Hopkins! Right on the edge of the village proper, but the bikes made it so easy to get around to all the restaurants and to explore the surrounding area. Val & Tyler were great hosts. The room was excellent with a coffee maker and ice trays. Highly recommended.

Lovely, clean, comfy rooms with all the amenities you’d need. The staff (Iris) is incredible - she went above and beyond to help us out both during our two stays but also beforehand arranging our transport from the border and to and from an island.

The only thing to note is it’s not beach front, if that’s what you’re looking for.

Cute place in the center of town

Cute place well located in Hopkins in the center of town, across from the beach and and walking distance from restaurants. Very friendly staff who offered good recommendations on what to do and provided us with bicycles to get around.

great hosts, pleasant courtyard, short walk to beach, reasonable walk to restaurants, easy biking distance to everywhere and bikes available. parking if needed

not hosts fault but intermittent internet due to frequent power outages. town was working on this issue but would have to say not reliable internet

Gorgeous place

It’s a gorgeous place in a great location right across from the beach and near good restaurants and shops. The owner was super kind and upgraded me! He helped me work out the elusive buses in both directions and ensured I felt really comfortable. It was a lovely stay.
