The Lakehouse is an amazing place to stay. Pictures do not do this place justice! So comfy you feel right at home! Everything we needed was stocked! Robert has thought of everything! Loved going out on paddle boat and canoes that are provided. Would definitely plan another get away here! Stunning view!

This is a custom built beautiful house on a unique property - Lake Erie private beach at the eastern boundary (front yard) and Sandusky Bay at the back patio (western boundary). This gives unobstructed views of the sunrise AND the sunset! Every type of watercraft imaginable was available and we had a ball trying them all, which was a great opportunity to easily what we enjoyed without having to buy, rent or transport anything.
We are a family group of 15 people with 4 generations from 2 months old to 88, and everything was comfortably accessible, from the fire pit to the outdoor activities to the games building. We used every space and everything was in perfect condition and exceeded our very high expectations. Advice to future vacationers: take 15 minutes and open every cupboard in the kitchen and bar to get an idea of what is there for your use. I didn’t realize there was a whole cupboard of measuring cups until day six! This place truly has everything you want or need. The owner is great, the neighbors are lovely and the locals are wonderful!

This property was perfect for our extended family get-together! We had plenty of space - inside the house, in the game room, and outside to hang and do whatever we wanted! The house was clean and well-appointed with a fully stocked kitchen that had anything you wanted. Having access to both Lake Erie and Sandusky bay was great and the dock made accessing the boat easy! We would highly recommend this property to anyone!

We absolutely loved our time here! Our extended family rented two homes for a week-long vacation together, and this was by far the nicer rental. The house has such cool character, with gorgeous architecture and nautical themed decor. We experienced one minor issue early on, and Robert was there the next day to take care of it... and brought us fresh, local bakery donuts to boot! Would wholeheartedly recommend this property.

The house was our base of operations for our Christmas visit to Sandusky. The house had everything we needed while we were there and it was perfectly located for us to quickly get back and forth to our family's home.
This was our third stay. The weather cooperated this year. Sandusky was home for my wife and I when we were kids so its' always good to get back for a visit with all the friends and family who still live there.

Beautiful property right on the lake Erie shore. It has a large wide open area including the kitchen, a dining area that includes two tables to entertain large groups, and an adjacent open space living room area all overlooking a beautiful view of the lake. Check in and check out were easy. I would stay there again.

Beautiful location. House slept fewer people than we expected. At least comfortably slept. The bunk bed wasn’t ideal as it is high and no barrier to prevent falling. The game room was great but the chairs aren’t really ideal beds. TV’s we’re very difficult to use and several never did work. There was early construction next door which was bothersome. Owner was pleasant and nice to work with. House is cool and guest house was great.

Overall very good. A few glitches included handicapped challenges with beach access and access to “extra’ king cottage.
Owner replied instantly to any concerns

The living/dining area had plenty of room for us all to relax and the kids loved the hammock, the outdoor space and the game room. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed to make whatever we dreamed up. Absolutely beautiful views and a nice little beach area on across the road.

Beautiful custom home with lovely views and lots of available activities. The home is very comfortable and comes with everything you need to enjoy your stay - fully equipped kitchen, plenty of linens, water toys, game room, and plenty of outdoor area to relax. Unfortunately we were there during mayfly season but while they were abundant they don’t bite and we still did plenty of outdoor fun things. The water was a bit high across the street to use the little beachy area so we ended up driving to a nearby beach for our beach days. Overall we really enjoyed the Lake House and really recommend it!

We so enjoyed staying at the lake house. I was so impressed by how well it was stocked. The rooms were all very comfortable. My grandchildren enjoyed the game room and fishing off of the deck. Its proximity to Cedar Point was great. The only problem was the muffle heads. They were vert annoying. I forgot that they appear this time of the week. Next time was will book later in June.

Lush bedrooms, upscale bathrooms, a fully( and i mean fully) stocked kitchen, outdoor areas that will delight young and old alike, watercraft to play with, and an amazing game room! We made wonderful family memories at The Lake House while exploring Sandusky and celebrating my nephew's graduation. We will definitely be back!
