Lovely cabin just perfect for 2. We enjoyed the hotub daily after bike riding and hiking. We saw bears daily in the yard, one came on the porch and was curious of the hot tub. They quickly scurried away when they saw us. Great stay at bear heaven cabin

We came to bicycle Cades Cove and found this great little cabin, about 11 miles from the cove. The cabin was really clean including the hot tub. The cabin is named Bear Haven, the name is appropriate as the first morning, there were 5 adult bears in on our grounds. We will definitely be back next year. Thanks for the good stay. Larry

This little cabin off the main drag of Townsend is a nice place to spend a couple of nights. The over-the-top bear-themed decor will put a smile on your face. I was pleasantly surprised that it was indeed a bear "haven," as just about every time I went out on the porch, I saw bears in the nearby woods.

Loved that we saw bear on property twice. We loved the hot tub and gazebo after a long day .The cabin and decor was great. Wasn't happy with driveway and no storage space for clothing or food especially if your staying a week. But I would stay at this cabin again.

We had an outstanding experience staying here, cabin is in a convenient location for not just Townsend but even traveling to pigeon forge and gatlinburg. Can’t really say anything negative about the cabin it really is a nice place to stay private and very relaxing. No need for 4 wheel drive maybe a flash light for going to the bathroom at night but an awesome place to stay.

The location is very convenient to Cade's Cove. I enjoyed sitting on the porch.

It was a great cabin. The only problems were there was no WIFI and the bedroom was in a loft. At first this seems cool, but it is hot even with the A/C turned all the way down. Other than those two things, the place is great. Great location, too.

Loved the loft style & the bed was very conformable.

Cabin overall was great, however poor communication with host. I booked two nights individually and because the host has not answer any of my messages i have to check in and out twice. Also has a beautiful fire place, only left a single log to burn. Other then that the place was cute and very clean and comfortable to sleep.

The location of the cabin is fantastic. Close to town but feels private. The hot tub on the porch is great.
We didn’t see any bears. Wanted to though!

Loved staying here, so close to Cade's Cove and the National Park. We plan on staying here again. We did not see any animals, but we were at the Park most times the animals would have been out.

My son and his bride said it was a great place and they loved all of it. They even enjoyed the sighting of the bear in the back yard!

Loved the hot tub. Nice private cabin. Location was great. Liked having the option to prepare some meals. Beautiful decorated rustic cabin.
Note the bedroom is upstairs so that is something to consider.
Also the driveway is pretty steep.

My husband and I booked this at the last minute for a long weekend getaway for our anniversary. It was easy to book and what we were looking for. The cabin was easy to get to and perfect for the two of us. It was very quiet and peaceful. The check in and out process was very smooth, cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We visit this area a lot, usually with the rest of the family, however if it is just the two of us again, we would book this cabin again.

I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday and it was perfect! Privacy, hot tub, close to everything, easy to cook... We never turned on the t.v. because we were in the hot tub or watching squirrels and deer or tubing right up the road.

We had a great relaxing week. My husband and I celebrated our 9th anniversary at Bear Haven. It’s perfect for a couple. We cooked and had a fire most nights. We can’t wait to come back. The Smiths

The location was great. Loved the swing and had two bear cubs come up on the porch one morning.

Cute cabin close to shopping, and Smoky Mountain National Park. I would suggest having a few extra blankets in the cabin. Also having some sheets for the pull out bed would have been great.

Loved the cozy cabin and everything was Great as far as the Cabin goes! Very private and hot tub was awesome. EXCEPT only 1 roll of toilet paper for a 3 day stay was a bit inconvenient.

Bear outside the porch was really cool. Close to all our favorite things to do. Cabin was clean, service was friendly and fast. Cabin does not have an oven but has everything else! Lovely place!!

The cabin was perfect for a couple. The useable spaces were clean enough. It was quiet although I would have liked more seclusion. Thankfully no one was next door. You may need 4 wheel drive to go up the driveway if it is really wet or icy. I would stay again.

It was the best experience and getaway for me and my spouse. Very clean and well put together little cabin. We both loved everything about it. Very much recommend it to others back home. Thank you for everything!!!

This was a cute and quiet little cabin. There was quite a bit a dust on the light fixtures and the bathtub looked a bit dirty upon arrival. The hot tub also didn't get very hot, the digital screen said it was 104 which was as hot it would go but it actually never reached 98. It was still well worth the money spent and the cabin was in a great location. We would stay again.

We arrived around 9pm the first night. The temp was 25 outside and maybe 40 inside as all heat had been turned off. With the main heater running and the plug in electric heater it had still managed to only reach 58 inside by the next morning. Once the heaters caught up the next day it was fine. Other than that there was a half inch of dust onthe ceiling fans and the floor nearly rotted out along the back wall. One previous guest had donated a black bra on the floor behind the couch. It too was overlooked by the cleaning service. I’ve stayed in worse but this one was not worth the $$ in my opinion. Won’t be staying there again.

Me and my wife had an amazing stay!! We loved the coziness of this small cabin. We saw 4 bears the first morning we stayed. The only complaint would be that the ceiling fan upstairs didn't work and the cleaning company did a halfway clean. Other then that was an amazing experience and great location.

Needs Some TLC
however located in a convenient position.

We were coming back from Charleston area and wanted to stop for a couple nights. This was my favorite part of our trip! Cabin was cozy and hot tub was great!!! The very best part? The neighbors!!! Momma and her cubs!!!! We seen them 2-3 times a day. You will NOT hear them and you need to stand up because the railing and bushes block one of their paths!!! I wanted to stay just to watch them play!!! This cabin was everything we could have asked for!!!!!
