Ocean views abound from this well appointed yet casual beach house property, just steps from the sand.

A perfect place to relax and enjoy family and friends (and occasionally dolphins).

Step out the door, cross the only street between you and the Pacific, and your toes will be delivered to the sand.

Relax in this single story home that’s perfect for 2 or 3 families. The home features dual master bedrooms. One master has ocean views, the other has a tranquil view of the spa and garden. Each master has a King sized bed. One master has rain-head shower + separate tub. Other master has shower.

A kids room with bunked beds (one twin over one full) and en-suite tub/shower bathroom are on the opposite side of the main house from the masters.

The third King bed is in a detached ocean view “cottage” which has a bathroom with a shower.

Also detached is a large fifth bedroom. This room contains a king bed, it's own tv, and couch. The space is ample enough to open up the queen floor matrress for an additional sleeping accommodations.

The floor plan is open with vaulted ceilings and tiled floors for easy beach living.

The kitchen was remodeled in 2012 with a granite countertop space to seat 7. The 8 foot dining table seats another 8-10. Place settings for 16 are provided. It’s a perfect home to gather friends or family for summer, holidays, vacations, or days ending in 'y'.

The large spa can be used cool, to refresh, or you can heat it and use the jets to warm up and relax after a day at the beach.

All bedding is all 100% cotton. Many 500 thread count or Ralph Lauren sheets and covers. Down comforters & pillows for all King beds (down alternative available upon request).

The living area is a great space to get cozy and catch up with family or friends while playing games, or watching a movie.

The garage has a washer/drier and space for 1 car.

This lovely house couldn't be in a better location for our family vacation. We were just across the street from the beach and walking distance to restaurants and playground making coming and going so easy with small children. Everything was provided from beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, beach toys, towels, and crib. There was room for extra parking in the driveway when we had visitors one day. A real plus in La Jolla. We were very appreciative of our house manager Ian who was very responsive to all our requests.

We had the best time at this house. Spacious, comfortable, VRBO summary and pics perfect. View and sunsets great. Across the street from the beach. 5 minute walk to stores and restaurants. We will be back!!

We had a destination wedding and needed to sleep 9 people in 3 generations. The house was great. Truly is steps from the beach and we could walk to the wedding. Tons of space to hang out. Fired up the hot tub and fire pit for outside enjoyment.

This house is wonderful for a girls trip. We had 8 friends from college descend on La Jolla for the weekend. The house is in the perfect location and we could walk to restaurants and shops. The common living areas and kitchen were great for our group. We also loved the back patio and fire pit. The owners of the house left us snacks and some cold drinks for our arrival which was a great touch. They were very responsive when we had some questions about the bathrooms. The water pressure wasn't great, but I think that's more of a La Jolla/California thing than a house thing. Overall we loved our stay!

This house, hosted by Claire, was the perfect place for our two families, a group of nine, to stay over the holidays. We all had plenty of space in the five large bedrooms, and my husband appreciated the bedroom outside the main house for extra quiet for his early bedtime! The house had everything we needed to be comfortable, including a nice gift basket full of goodies. We cooked breakfast and lunch daily in the large kitchen, and we were able to hangout all together in the evenings in the living room watching tv. During the day, it was a great location to walk to all the fun places around La Jolla Cove. I highly recommend this great location!

Beautiful 5 bedroom home . Perfect for family getaway. Great for families that enjoy surfing, beach and great restaurants. Home well stocked and kitchen perfect for all that enjoy to cook. Easy drive to Zoo and other attractions that Dan Diego has to offer. Would come back again!

We are sister-in-laws and all our daughters (10 total) gathering for a 40th birthday. The house and location was perfect! The main house kitchen and living areas are perfect for conversation and all being together. The kitchen is well stocked and the welcome baskets were a great touch after our travel day!

This LaJolla vacation home was perfect for our family group of 10. The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful with anything needed. Kitchen and living areas are great for a big group. The location is directly across from the beach, which was ideal for the family to run back and forth throughout the day. We would definitely stay here again.

We checked in and the owner/manager had a hand written note and it was a welcoming gesture. We felt at home and ready for our trip. There is a 10 Pm noise ordnance. This was easy as we moved inside or went for a beach walk. And yes we are a loud bunch. 😄 The house was spacious and beautiful. I will definitely recommend this great home to anyone staying in the area.

The location of the house is understated in the listing.. the ability to just grab a coffee and go sit on the beach for the sunrise is such a luxury! The stay was wonderful for 6 adults and 4 children of various ages. Amenities for beach of boogie boards, towels, wagon and games all available. So close to the beach - just what we wanted. Hot tub a generous size that is doubled as a pool for the little ones. Kitchen and living area was perfect for family gathering. The only downside was the beautiful outside bedroom didn't have a bathroom - so it wasn't used.

We stayed 5 nights with a family of 10. The home is more beautiful than the pictures show. It is comfortable and outfitted well. It’s easy to cross the street to the beach park. The children enjoyed the pool. Claire was very friendly and helpful. For us, the only awkward thing is the bedroom/ bathroom layout. No true master bedroom in the main house and the one casita has no bathroom at all.

Beautiful updated home with wonderful amenities and couldn't have a better location with beach across the street. Loved hearing the ocean from front porch. Lots of outdoor seating areas and hot tub was awesome. Very large and neat landscaping surrounding it. Large dining area for family meals that we loved with great view. The treat/welcome basket was perfect and enjoyed everything. The few things I would give feedback on room for improvement would be - hot water takes 10-15 minutes to warm up for a shower, not very clear that the bedroom connected to the garage does not have a bathroom and must go outside and through a couple rooms to get to the hall bathroom. Not very comfortable for those guests. Could also use more hangers. Overall would highly recommend.

Our group of 13 women had an amazing time here celebrating a bachelorette party! We were blown away by our proximity to the ocean, the perfect layout of the home, and the attentiveness of our host. With a party so large, we were worried about being in each others’ space, but there was plenty of room for us all. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, relaxing in the hot tub and walking across the street to the beach. Our host Claire could be easily reached via text and was always helpful and kind. We loved our time here and hope to return one day!

This property was absolutely perfect for our family gathering. The kitchen/living/dining room area is huge and stunning. There was plenty of space so all seven of us could be together but still have room to engage in different activities: games, reading, cooking, etc. The kitchen is amazing: very well laid out to accommodate many people at the same time. While we were there, the weather was cool and damp so we did not use the hot tub, but we absolutely loved the two sided fireplace. The views of the beach and its proximity are great. Claire was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Can't recommend this property enough!

This spot was outstanding for us! Across the street from the beach, the kids had a blast digging in the sand, collecting shells, playing catch and watching surfers. The beach chairs, towels, beach toys made everything extra special and easy! The short walk to restaurants and ice cream made it nice to keep the vehicle parked. The proximity to the airport, and so many of San Diego's attractions just added to our ease and enjoyment.

I would not pass on the opportunity to stay at this property! The pictures do not do it justice. The home is in a superb location with the beach, restaurants and boutiques within walking distance. It comes complete with every beach toy you can imagine. It's huge, airy, open yet offers privacy and all the amenities you could ask for. Claire was over the top with her communication from the moment we reserved the property to the minute we left. So helpful and genuinely concerned that we had the most fabulous time. I hope we get to stay there again. Thank you, Claire, for supporting our family from around the country to enjoy Thanksgiving together!

Just as advertised and perfect for a group of moms looking to connect, decompress and indulge. We enjoyed time cooking gourmet meals together, relaxing in the hot tub, warming by the fire and watching the surfers. Great space for a large group. Easy communications with the owner. Highly recommend!

The property was spacious, clean, well-appointed and comfortable. It was located in an ideal location, within a short walking distance to several shops and restaurants and directly across the street from the beach. It was also just a 15-20 minute drive from most desired touristic sites as well as to downtown San Diego. This home served our needs perfectly. The property owner/manager was responsive and helpful. We would highly recommend this home.
