The house is really spectacular with a nice view of distant mountains and overlooking Asheville. Beautifully landscaped. The manager, Mary, was super nice and attentive to just a few minor items which were taken care of quickly. So many fun things to do in the house, plus location is close enough to town andd the many activities available.

This lovely, spacious house was the perfect home base for our 9-person family group as we explored the Asheville area for a week (and it could have easily accommodated a larger group). Everything about the house was wonderful, from the 7 large bedrooms (each with its own bathroom) to the fabulous kitchen(s), fantastic view, and proximity to Asheville highlights, restaurants, and grocery stores.
Mary (the property manager) was proactive, gracious, and quick to respond to any inquiries, making us feel welcome and supported whenever we had questions.
Thank you, Mary, for a fabulous week!

The property was PERFECT for my family! Everyone had their own bathroom and bedroom and there was plenty of space to spread out or be all together. The ages of my group spanned from 20 something year olds all the way to an 85 year old. There was plenty to do at the house and the proximity to hiking trails and the neighborhoods in Asheville was ideal. The view of the mountains was spectacular! We also enjoyed a few bear sightings on the property and being serenaded by coyotes. Highlights for our nature loving group.

Truly wonderful house. We were celebrating my wife’s 70th birthday and it was the perfect setting.

This home is nestled up on a mountainside with views that speak to the beauty of Asheville. It is well appointed as a place for a group of friends or a big family with tons to do - we particularly loved the pool table and the Spa. We grilled and dined al fresco with the mountainscape surrounding us. And we enjoyed wine with friends by the fire pit well into the night. Every bedroom had high quality beds and linens and the bathrooms were like what you expect in a high end home! Thank you to our gracious hosts!

This house was amazing!! Super clean, gorgeous, new property, 7 bedrooms, 7.5 baths, several porches and a magnificent children’s playroom. All appliances in excellent condition. Plenty of dining and living space, beautiful views and just up the hill from The Grove Park Inn. We saw a few bears, deer and foxes or coyotes. Our host was super responsive. Very easy check in and out and logical house rules. I highly recommend this house.

Everything from the moment we walked in the door was spectacular. It had plenty of common area space for our entire group of 16 along with private accommodations for each of us couples. The house had everything we needed and more. The views on the porch were spectacular and we used the hot tub and pool room daily! I highly recommend staying here - I have used VRBO more than a dozen times and this was by far the best property I have ever stayed in!

Excellent, excellent property! 10 adults and there was plenty of space in the beautifully maintained house. Kitchen is WELL stocked, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are great and the view is amazing! Don't pass this one up!!
Also, if you have children the playroom is amazing too.
Love, love this property!

Impossible to overstate how amazing this house is!! They have thought of everything!!
Comfy beds, luxurious sheets and towels, coffee set up. The house is enormous! Lots of room to sleep read out. Comfy couches and plenty of throw blankets. Gorgeous views. Just an amazing find!

The house was beautifully decorated and was great for our multi-generational group. The little kids never wanted to leave the house! They just wanted to play in the playroom every day 😄. Mary, the house manager, was super responsive and helpful throughout the process. She made sure we had everything we need. My only critique would be that there were some bathrooms undergoing renovations before we arrived, which were not quite complete. The bathrooms were even more beautiful than the original listing! But some of the renovations seemed hastily done and there were issues with lack of towel hooks, one vent fan and two shower curtains falling down. Overall, the experience was great, and when everything is totally finished being renovated it’ll be great. Thanks, Mary!

We had a wonderful time at Mary’s home. The pictures do not do the property justice. It is so spacious and clean and well appointed. The kids loved the play area and all the toys that they provided. There was lots of space for the 3 families to spread out and different living areas to entertain. The views of the mountains are beautiful and the area is very close to downtown. We enjoyed our stay so much and would most definitely recommend the home to others. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a group of 10 ladies that spent a long weekend at the house. It is a beautiful house, 5 min from downtown, lots of space to spread out, and so well equipped. The neighborhood is hilly and you will see bears, just give them their space. We loved seeing them. The views are spectacular, and the listing is accurate. Mary was lovely to coordinate with, I would rent here again if we come back to Nashville. We did not have kids with us, but the house is very family friendly.

9 high school girlfriends gathered for 5 days in Asheville. This property was the perfect location. Spacious, clean and beautiful views. We lacked for nothing in terms of amenities. Mary was a very helpful host. We definitely recommend this property to groups and/or families and we hope to return in a future year

This house has it all! There are numerous spacious rooms for friends and family to gather, as well as plenty of "nooks and crannies" for those who prefer a bit of solitude. The well-stocked kitchen anchors the house on one end with the family room on the other. Guests can enjoy fixing a meal together while others can relax playing billiards, soaking in the hot tub, rocking in chairs on the deck or simply taking a nap in one of the 7 bedrooms. (The adjoining bathrooms provide all guests a measure of privacy that is lacking in other rentals). The bedrooms are evenly split between the three levels allowing the "early risers" and "late sleepers" to each have their own floors. The highlight of this property for my family was the playroom. In the words of my three year old grandson: "This house has a house inside!" I have never seen a playroom that came so "ready for having fun". Puzzles, blocks, games . . . everything a child could want. The playroom adds such a comforting level of normalcy for traveling children.
My family rented this property as a "home-base" for my daughter's wedding and it was perfect! We look forward to coming back again to rest, relax, and rejuvenate!!

We had 7 couples (14 guests), all 55 - 70 years old, and this place was perfect for our stay! And the house is very large so no one ever felt cramped....well appointed with plenty of cooking/dining supplies....and it's gorgeous, obviously being recently renovated. Being so close to downtown made it so much easier to venture out for day trips. Lastly, we had a few questions after we checked in and the property manager, Mary, was incredibly quick to respond and helpful. All in all, a wonderful house that we're likely to rent again in the future.

70th Birthday celebration gathered 7 women from 5 states. This gorgeous, newly renovated home was ideal for this size group and would have been equally so for couples. BRs on all 3 levels, “killer kitchen” and dining spaces for in home cooking at any level.
Windows everywhere with unobstructed mountain views, lush landscaping, & outdoor & indoor gathering spaces.
We Ubered to restaurants in the evening to avoid nighttime
drive up Town Mtn. For drivers accustomed to narrow hilly/mountain roads, the trip up to the house & navigating the driveway won’t be an issue. For those who aren’t, it’s a matter of going slower than usual & being watchful. Especially as there are bikers & dog walkers sharing the roads.
Mary Collins couldn’t have been more helpful or readily available to answer questions.
We would all stay there again with just the slightest provocation!

Home was exactly as advertised. Ton of space. Spectacular views. Greeted by family of bears upon arrival on the mountain. Well stocked kitchen. Great hot tub. Soft comfortable beds. Internet speedy in every room. Mary the property manager totally responsive and accessible.
To state the obvious, road and driveway are steep and narrow. Less-mobile adults/seniors need to be able to navigate stairs. Not a negative, just need to be aware. Great mountain retreat

Lovely neighborhood. We enjoyed taking walks and taking in the Mountain View’s. The house is very spacious with large comfortable rooms and beds. The views from the balcony’s are fantastic. We had a large group and all had plenty of space. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner here along with numerous other meals. Very spacious. Host was very nice and communicated well with us.

The sheer space , architectural features and surrounding beauty of this house are its most notable attributes. Also, so convenient into the city. I cannot remember ever staying in a rental property with a couch that comfortably seats and reclines 8! We did some cooking and with a little search and rescue 😂 I believe I found everything and more, needed to prepare and serve a meal. Loved having the 6 burner gas stove top(although one of the burners was not lighting)We enjoyed the pool table with its own room, hot tub-always hot and ready with towels provided, two refrigerators, wood burning fireplace, coffee space with an array of coffee k-cups. and syrups, kids play area and two dining tables, one with seating for 12! So lovely having enough seats around a dining table. It is odd though that a house that comfortably sleeps 10 only has family room seating for 9. Truthfully, that’s better than most of our vrbo rentals.
No serious issues about this stay at this beautiful property, all 10 of us were comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed having space to gather together when we wanted and space to be apart. Are there opportunities for improvement, yes. One of the most obvious is carpet cleaning, and repair, given the age and apparent high use of the house there’s a lot of items left and piled up in certain areas. The refrigerator came with lots of condiments from previous renters and/or owners (?)-not necessarily a negative for some, definitely a “no-go” for me, garage, laundry room, and pantry. I believed there to be 4 bathrooms not 3. 1/2., and maybe I missed in the description the abundance of stairs, it does need to mentioned in the description in case someone has issues. Something my husband noticed were the instructions for toilet flushing. If instructions are necessary, maybe replace the toilets.
Overall our family staying together in one place-not separate hotel rooms -in an abundantly appointed spacious house made for an excellent weekend leaving with great memories.

What a beautiful, yet comfortable home! We had a large group staying there for a family wedding. It couldn't have been more PERFECT! There was space for everyone, with comfortable beds, and a spacious well-kept kitchen. One of the best parts of our stay was the amazing view and awesome sunsets!

We absolutely loved this gorgeous home for our family to stay during our son’s Asheville wedding weekend. It was so beautiful & more than comfortable with enough space for 8 adults and 2 young children. The kids playroom was the biggest hit - complete with a playhouse, toys & kids table & chairs for all to enjoy . We will definitely rent this place again. Mary was a fantastic host answering any questions quickly & accommodating requests. The place was clean & had more than enough amenities to make us feel every taken care off. The views from any room were breath taking of the blue ridge mountain and downtown Asheville. The Grove Park Inn just minutes away too. I can’t say enough good things about this home & the special memories my whole family made during our time there. Thank you Mary for everything!!!!

Family gathering to celebrate 2 birthdays, a graduation and a wedding anniversary.
Spectacular views from a spacious home perched high above the city, yet close enough for easy (but winding) drives into town. Spacious rooms and accommodations: I believe we made use of all the amenities including ping-pong, pool table, jacuzzi, balcony seating, and the keurig coffee maker.

Exceeding expectations
This property was beautiful and so convenient to downtown Asheville. Dinner on the deck plus fireworks and a bear sighting made it even better. Will book this house again.

Exceptional property and host
This exceptionally comfortable and well equipped home worked beautifully for a long weekend for eight women. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and amazingly well stocked, supplies and towels are plentiful, and our host was extremely welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. Indeed the house is in a beautiful setting, and it truly is very convenient to all we wanted to do in Asheville.

Great Mountain Home
My friends and I were in Asheville for our first time. This house was incredibly accommodating and had all of the basic things we would need and more. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t the best for us, but that’s no fault to this house and we still were provided with amazing views! Mary was a great host - even came by to swap a propane tank so we could grill. Would recommend to anybody!
