Estancia entrañable. Repetiríamos.

El trato fue excelente y personalizado. Da gusto estar en casas como esta porque tienen un valor añadido. La ubicación es maravillosa con acceso directo a las playas del lago No tuvimos ninguna dificultad para encontrarlo Pudimos dejar el coche en el jardín anexo a la casa.

Justo ese día tenían dos grupos de turistas alemanes por lo que la estancia idílica y tranquila fue más ruidosa y tumultuosa de lo esperado para un entorno encantador. A pesar de ello, Valentín nos amenizó la velada contando sus inicios y su liderazgo en el turismo rural local lo cual fue entrañable.

Un beau refuge au calme

Super séjour chez Valentin - un cadre magnifique, un super accueil. C est propre, et très calme. Une bonne ambiance avec les autres clients. Bon repas copieux. Possibilités de tour sur les îles. Jolies balades à pied possibles.

Il faut juste prévoir quelques fruits/légumes pour compléter les repas.

Le paradis en campagne!

Le lieu est exceptionnel et les hôtes sont extraordinaires. La nourriture était typique et très bien âpretée. Merci beaucoup à M. Valentin et sa famille.

Lieu enchanteur et accueil parfait

Le lieu est parfait, la vue superbe sur une belle plage et le lac Ttitcaca. Jesus et sa famille sont très accueillants et proposent des très bons repas. N'hésitez pas, ce lieu est magique!

Skip the bustle of Puno, and retreat to Llachon!

Situated on the shore of Lake Titicaca this cozy casa, and friendly staff welcome you with open arms! The grounds are beautiful, and the room is cozy.

Ideal para relajarse

Lugar ideal para desconectar con vistas al lago. Las instalaciones estan limpias y la familia sirve una buena comida. A tener en cuenta que en Llachon no hay cajeros y solamente algunas tiendas pequeñas, no hay restaurantes. Buenas acogida por parte de Valentin, su mujer y Jesus. Gracias

Highly recommended - a really peaceful base compared with Puno, and only an hour from the airport.

It's a beautiful and quiet location, friendly family run business who are helpful and accommodating, assisting to arrange an airport taxi and boat tour. Comfortable bed and a great lake view.

The bathroom is basic and cool at this time of year but has what you need.

This is the place to stay if you want to experience Lake Titicaca and rural Peru.

We loved everything about Casa de Valentine. Wonderful hosts, great meals, fabulous location and a truly authentic Peruvian experience.

nice little haven in the middle of nowhere

Very clean, very nice people and you HAVE to try their Ceviche (order the day before). Get a boat trip to Uros Titino, one of the floating islands nearby (45 min boat trip) - definitely worth it!

Nothing to do with the property itself but the place is freeweezing cold (we travelled there in July 2022).

Amazing stay in Llachon by the lake

Valentin's place is amazing! We arrived at sunset and the view from the beach was breathtaking. Valentin and his son are extremely friendly and they gave us good advice on things to do in the area. The food was good and the room was super comfortable (hot shower!!!). I would 100% recommend this place.

While the staff tried to be helpful, I felt like I needed to nudge them a few times to get things done/arranged. Not much water coming out of the shower.

A beautiful, peaceful place to stay, with amazing hosts!

The company of Mario and his kindness, as well as his wife Juliana. The time dedicated to visit the island with us, and explain us everything about Taquile history and culture. Food was also great thanks to Juliana's talents for cooking.

Great value, authentic Peruvian family experience. Loved it!

Loved the Valentin family. Felt adopted! My kids loved it too. It's part guesthouse part farm so they spent a lot of time with the animals. Hubby and I spent time on the Lakeshore and in their dining area with breathtaking views of the lake and area. This is a remote area so you pretty much have to go all inclusive. We didn't see any other good options. Town is two shops. This is an authentic homestay type experience being with a kind, humble Peruvian family. We adored them. The rooms are basic but comfortable and very hot water. Heating however there is none but bed covers plenty,,so bring warm clothes!! It's cold but totally worth it. Food is all home cooked by the mom and hot water all day for coffee and tea and chocolate. GETTING THERE - we did it local style and took a local bus from Puno to Capachica then from Capachica to Llachon( takes about 2 hours from Puno) tell driver Casa de Valentin - they all know it) OR you can get a taxi direct from Puno or Juliaca for about 30 USD. (1 hour 15) Very hospitable family. We will def go back and hope it doesn't get ruined in the meantime! Summer visit next time! Thank you Jesus and family we loved you and your hospitality. Mucho amor!

It was really cold at night so make sure you have very warm clothes and extra snacks in between meals.
