Disappointed, stinky and electric shock from the shower.

When we didn’t have hot water the staff came to fix. The breakfast was ok

Really sad that this place wasn’t good. We read the reviews and it seemed great so went for it. Unfortunately our whole room smelt of sewage and even stronger in the bathroom - the whole time we stayed. We had no hot water for the first day but this was sorted when we told the staff. Unfortunately when I touched the tap in the shower I got an electric shock, I think maybe the shower wiring had some issues.

Gerade so okay

Wir hatten einen super Ausblick von Balkon ganz oben, wo unser Zimmer war.

Die Lage ist etwas abseits, aber man ist schnell auf der Hauptstraße. Die Dusche war furchtbar, wir haben Stromschläge bekommen, beim Wasser einstellen. Wir sollten mehr bezahlen als bei Booking stand und mit Karte kostet es einen Aufpreis.

Beautiful host but rooms need attention

The host was a really lovely person who helped us a lot. Shw gave us loads of information regarding isla de sol. We could even buy our boat tickets there. There was luggage storage. The breakfast was brilliant. Good location.

There was an awful smell from the bathroom drains so we had to sleep with the windows open. The bathroom itself was horribly laid out, we had to step over the toilet to get to the shower. The carpet was filthy.

Very good accommodation experience!

Great breakfast! The travel information given is very rich and correct! We gave you the right advice when buying a network card! Save us from wasting money! grateful! We took the night bus, and they already checked out and were willing to let us use the kitchenette and public space!

Basic but affordable × Hosts are super helpful

The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful. They gave us great advice regarding what to do and see in Copacabana and on la Isla del Sol. We stayed 2 nights there then 2 nights on the island camping. The hosts kept part of our stuff (bags) which we did not need for the 2 days we were on la Isla (made the hike quite a bit easier...) Breakfast is simple but good and complete - fills you. Bed is warm, shower has hot water. We stayed in the top room and had easy access to the top terrasse. It was an amazing view any time of the day. We crossed paths with quite a few other backpackers over breakfast. You're likely to see people that will go on the island at the same time as you. Overall amazing value for money.

Room was carpeted and a bit dusty. We wore sandals inside. The shower trim (control handle) was duck-taped...because there was some small current in it. Not ideal for a shower. We always made sure to turn on/off the shower while being dry and using a towel or plastic bag. Minor inconvenience but quite shocking (ah!) at first.

Good location close to bus stop and town. Staff were so helpful with what to do in area and you can buy boat tickets for Isla del sol. They also let us store our luggage. Breakfast was really good and our room was comfy and roomy with a nice terrace area

Good value for the price

The lady at the front desk was really nice and helpful. It's in a really good locations and the room was pretty decent. They also had hot water which is always a plus amd we had a really great view of the city.

The room was a little stuffy I think maybe because of the carpet but it just needed to be aired out a bit.

Good stay in Copacabana

Good price and decent facilities.

Not far on the map but Copacabana is a bit hilly and at high altitude so just bear this in mind when you walk with large bags to the place.

Lovely staff and breakfast

Excellent breakfast included - fruit and yoghurts, eggs bread etc. The staff were so lovely and friendly and accommodating.

The bed was very hard and the drains in the bathroom smelt so bad we didn’t want to turn the taps on. Shower was warm but not very powerful.

We actually booked a bigger room which wasn't available due to a "fault in the system", no views on the lake

Good value room with an ensuite. Beds were comfy and the room was clean in general. Breakfast was excellent and very filling. Location was slightly out of town but this made it more quiet and nearby some cheaper local shops.

Het ontbijt is rijkelijk, douche is warm.

The rooms are like a freezer. Soo cold. Blankets couldn't help. Location of the breakfast room is also freezing. Towels don't take up water, really annoying. We didn't receive an upgrade as promised on booking.com

Reasonably priced private room which is centrally located. Breakfast was good. Walking distance to pier for boats and buses. Perfect for a night before or after visiting Isla del Sol

Staff were very friendly and helped us plan our trip to Isla del Sol. They allowed us to leave our bags there while away. Lovely breakfast of eggs, bread, jam, fruit and yogurt and coffee. Short walk to centre.

very good hostel in a perfect location

The owners of the hostel are the sweetest! They help with everything and are very welcoming! Breakfast is good and the location is perfect! Rooms are comfy and showers are hot.

It gets cold during the night, but blankets are provided should you need them!

Exceptional

A really quiet and comfortable place to stay. The owners are super lovely and always available to help. The shower was hot and good pressure. The location is a few minutes walk out of the main area, but no problem at all as it is a safe town.

Great location. breakfast was really good for Bolivian hostel standards, egg, breads, jam fruit and yoghurt. The owners were very helpful in organising our Isla del sol tour and showing us different things to see in Copacabana.

The hot water was difficult. we realised after three showers already we had to have the pressure down really low for the water to be hot (it was only one tap) turn it on fully and it would be luke warm. wifi dropped in and out

Perfect stop in Copacabana

Big comfortable double room with private bathroom and hot shower. Top floor room included a rooftop balcony area which had a nice view of the bay and cathedral. Included breakfast was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful with information on the town and Isla del Sol. Wifi was good.

N/A - wish we could bring this hostel with us! Only stopped one night, very comfortable stay.
