Rock Haven at North Street is a newly built cabin, situated on 11 wooded acres in the Adirondack Park. This gorgeous home is less than a mile and a half from the center of Old Forge, where you'll find countless small town shops, restaurants, and more. The house is one mile from Enchanted Forest Water Safari, making this the perfect family getaway. The scenic North Branch of the Moose River is a quarter of a mile down the road, proving great opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, and swimming. Hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails go right by the end of the driveway, making for the ideal setting for a winter snowmobile retreat. These trails turn into hiking and biking paths in the summer months.

An open floor plan, three bedrooms and three full baths make this rental ideal for those who want to stay in the same cozy house with each other, without sacrificing privacy. A fully finished walk-out basement includes a bedroom with queen-sized bed, a living area, a full bathroom, and laundry facilities. The main level includes a bedroom with queen-sized bed, full bathroom, and a cozy open floor plan with kitchen, dining area, and living room, complete with a wood burning stove. The lofted upstairs has another bedroom with queen-sized bed, a full bathroom, and a loft area with a twin trundle bed for extra sleeping areas. Blankets & pillows are included for all beds; guests just need to bring their own sheets, bathroom towels, and any paper products.

The home has a beautiful covered porch, where you can sit and drink your morning coffee while listening to the birds, or enjoy a cocktail in the evenings and relax after a full day. An open deck with chairs provides space to sit in the sun and soak up the wooded views that surround the cabin. An outdoor fire pit is the perfect spot to gather, roast marshmallows, and visit with family and friends.

Even while inside, the many windows in this home allow you to feel as though you are surrounded by the peaceful woods. No neighbors are in sight, making this the ideal private location, without sacrificing the convenience of being close to town. We had a great stay. Very peaceful. Loved the wraparound deck, with part of it covered. Fully equipped kitchen. Great communication! We even saw a flock of turkeys with newborn babies by the firepit!

But we loved it. Thank you for the covered porch gave us a dry outdoor experience. I loved that a lot of thought went into building this gorgeous home. My husband loved the mud room. I promise we never made it muddy! Great place to come in and get out of your outdoor clothes. His other favorite was the outdoor fire pit! Great idea to supply dry bundled seasoned wood for fires! Gladly paid for the convenience of not paying the price at the store. We have stayed in the Adirondack area for years and we love this place. Grill was great, beds extremely comfortable. Water pressure in the upstairs bathroom is excellent! The seclusion of this house only a couple of miles from downtown is very convenient. We saw absolutely no sign of animals on the property! Really enjoyed the one late afternoon outside fire we had. Kitchen well equipped, Daikers is a must! We hope the weather is better next year! Thank you so much Ryan and Catherine for a beautiful home for our vacation. See you next year 😁🍁

Everything was very nice. Location is good. Kitchen was supplied well - you just need to be sure that you know to bring sheets/towels/toiletries which was fine as we drove there. If you were flying in for a vacation stay that would be a little difficult. Communication with the owner was very good which is always very important. I would recommend this property.

Very comfortable, great hosts, a second year in a row of staying there. It's a prime location with proximity to town and access to all sorts of activities, yet still being in nature. I would highly recommend this place.

We had two adults and two almost teenagers. This place was perfect. It was beautiful, clean, and spacious. We all could be together but felt we had our own spaces as well. Close to town yet nestled in the woods makes this a five out of five! We will definitely stay again!

Very clear communication regarding check-in and check out process. Love that! Everything was clean and just what we expected. The listing said there would be pillows and there weren't so we used throw pillows from the couch. That was a minor thing compared to how perfect everything else was.

A great location with perfect amenities! The house is right down the street from town/water safari which is very convenient. It has three floors, each with their own private bedroom /bathroom and excellent layout for a family or multiple families to enjoy their stay in Old Forge. The wrap around porch was a perfect evening sitting location, fire pit was great for hot dogs & s’mores and the kitchen was very adequately stocked with everything you’d need. Added bonus: the owner was super responsive and helped with last minute recommendations. Would absolutely stay here again!

This property was perfectly secluded in woods but super close to town! Perfect location. The wrap around deck was amazing, you got best of both worlds, sun and shade at the same time! Owners were super quick to respond to any message I sent. They have wood there you can leave money for . There’s a bedroom on each floor along with a bathroom. The only little downfall was there is no air conditioning, but the bottom floor stays cold & there are tons of ceiling fans. House was well stocked and clean!

Amazing cabin!

My friend and I brought our daughters and their friends to Old Forge for a summer kick off. While it was a bit smaller than it looks in the pictures, it was more than enough room for 2 women and 5 girls ages 16-19. The 3 bathrooms were a blessing! The cabin was extremely private, immaculately clean and pleasantly decorated. The wraparound deck was a great place to have morning coffee and the firepit area was a relaxing way to end the day. The owners also provided a wide selection of games and a badminton set. We were less than 5 minutes from everything we did, including hiking Bald Mountain and kayaking. We had a small issue with getting into the house when we arrived and I texted the owner. She responded almost immediately and we were inside within minutes. While there was no air conditioning, the whole house fan kept the place cool. Overall, this is one of the best rental experiences I've had and plan on staying here again next time I come up north.

This property was adorable and well laid out for 3 couples. It had virtually everything we wanted...with one exception. We booked specifically because we require (greatly prefer) an indoor woodstove or wood fireplace as well as an outdoor fire area. 3 days before our reservation we got a message that we couldn't use the wood stove. That was very disappointing to us. However, as long as we could have a guarantee that woodstove could be used, we would definitely book this home again.
