The home is lovely, just as pictured and very clean, which is a must for us. King bed was comfortable and tub was large, has jets but did not work. Shower is a bit cramped with the slanted roof.
Kitchen has almost anything you may need; could use wooden spoons and/or silicone for non-stick pans. Towels are unusual, my husband did not like them, not fluffy at all; rather flat and coarse. Coffeemaker and a Keurig, we used both. Lobster pot got a good workout, too! Very spacious for a family. We contacted Veronika a couple of times, the firepit advertised was non existent and we needed help with the television to turn on. Maintenance was sent and fixed the issue, Veronika said to use the firepit nextdoor, although our last night there it was rented out, so we were not able to use then. I have no complaints about the home itself, but the draw for us to rent it, was the view!!! The only way you get the view is inside at the table or up on the hill by the road. The view shown on the VRBO site is not there, or rather it is there, hidden behind very tall flora and bushes! Port Clyde is quaint and everything is right there, an easy walk. Thomaston has a great Walmart for any other needs. I would suggest to management a bit later checkout to accommodate the cleaning needed before leaving. We did not use most of the home, not as much as a family might use and it was quite a task along with packing and loading. Hope this review is helpful. We did enjoy our stay.

What a location! Make sure you bring your binoculars to watch the gulls, terns, Bald Eagles, and boats as they come and go all from the living room window. Just remember though, it is a working harbor and that work seems to begin at 3AM most mornings, you get used to it by the end of the week but it was jarring the first night/morning. The kids loved the playground around the corner, we could walk to town for coffee and snacks, the Herring Gut was super cool experience for the kids and Marshall Point Lighthouse was a nice walk to and from. The house was quiet and comfortable and had anything you could want for cooking and entertaining, not that we spent much time inside. Overall, what a wonderful vacation that just seemed too short!

It's as if the host thought of everything a family might need on a vacation. The house was comfy and impeccably clean. We enjoyed the town and local area. Although close to the lobster co-op, we enjoyed the bustle of the local activity. And you can't beat Maine seafood!

We loved this house. My 3 year old son just wanted to watch the boats from the windows. We would walk down to the water every evening.

The house is in a beautiful setting above the harbor. Great place to take in the view and the activity on the water. The location in the village is really nice and convenient, and you can walk to everything, including Marshall Point Lighthouse. The house is very comfortable and well-equipped. A great visit!

This has been a favorite house of mine which I have rented several times over the years. It has a sleek modern feel and the wrap around porch expands its spaciousness. Walkable location near village is a plus.

A beautiful peaceful setting overlooking the working fishing harbor of Port Clyde!
The property was very clean and well maintained. The listing was right on track. Spacious with a beautiful view. Port Clyde is full of wonderful people, cute little spot. The only suggestion I have is that a pair of Adirondack chairs to take in the view would be welcomed and possibly some updated outside dining sets.
Would stay again for sure!

Great spot to soak in Port Clyde life
House is cute and has everything you need. Neighbors are close and so is lobster dock but it still feels private and everything great is a short walk away. Sunsets are fantastic and so is harbor view.

Lovely cottage getaway
The cottage is lovely. We enjoyed the wonderful view of the harbor, the dark star-filled skies, and easy access to the village of Port Clyde. The cottage was perfect for our family of five: the kitchen and living area was a terrific gathering space; the TV room was great for our teens to get away for a while and read or binge watch shows on their iPad; and the upstairs living area afforded ample space for relaxation as well.

House overlooking the fish and lobster docks
Overall, it was in a great location in a quiet neighborhood, other than the 4:30 dock activity. It was great to get up in the morning and go for a walk, or walk to the beach or walk to town. And anytime you come home, there is a fabulous view to greet you

Can’t wait to come back
We loved staying here! The house was perfect for our needs and we loved the sounds of the working dock.
Everything was very comfortable and the location was perfect. Could ride our bikes down to the general store for milk or to buy more coffee. My 7 year old especially loved the candy selection.
We can’t wait to come back with our family.

Nice house with a lovely view in charming fishing village
The house was well stocked and comfortable. Plenty of space to spread out. We thoroughly enjoyed our walks around town, to Drift Inn Beach and to Marshall’s Point. Veronika is always responsive to needs. Highly recommend this rental!

Great spot in Port Clyde.
Perfect house with view of Port Clydes working harbor and short walk to town. House was outfitted perfectly and management excellent. Great yard for grilling and kids also next to town park so ideal for families. The only possible issue is that it’s directly above the local Lobster Co-op which is an active fishing pier complete with early activity and associated odors of the sea. We loved it but may not be for everyone so be advised. Would highly recommend and plan on returning in 21.

Quintessential Maine
The view from the backyard was a view of what coastal Maine represents. One minor issue would be that power pole. Not sure why it hasn’t been buried because it would greatly improve that view but it was definitely not a deal breaker. The house is nicely appointed, lots of spaces to relax in. The master bedrooms bed linen made it hard to get up each day. Although the proximity to the fishing docks was very close, it was really no problem. There were only the normal ocean smells and the boats heading out in the wee hours were not ever a problem. The closeness to town is perfect. The only big complaint we had was that the tub/shower were inaccessible to those with mobility issues. Very hard to enter and exit. Just a heads up and the only reason it didn’t get five stars. We would definitely return.

Lovely home in a very quaint town
We loved out stay in Port Clyde. The town is very quaint and we were able to walk to the general store, coffee shop, ice cream shop and the water front restaurant. The house was well equipped with plenty of room to spread out around the house. There is a great tv/game room for the kids. I feel like I have to mention that the lobster men arrive before 5am. When they arrive they are LOUD! They talk loud, their trucks are loud and their lobster boats are loud. Their is no air conditioning so you have to sleep with the windows open when it's warm out and it's a rude awakening. Their was also a group of people on the weekend nights that stayed up all night talking very loudly on one of the docks behind the house. I'm not sure if this is the norm or if they were renting a place like us. Overall it was a beautiful home and a lovely town. I have one suggestion for the owner. Please invest in a couple of fans for the bedrooms. We ended up buying one at walmart and we left it there for the next renters. If you have a fan running at night it helps to keep you cool on the warm nights as well as drowning out the "night life" on the water and the lobster boats early in the morning.

Perfect house for a family
Our family of four spent a week at this property and loved it. The house has room for kids to hang out (either with or away from adults) and plenty of space for adults to relax as well. The location was walking distance to the General Store, ice cream, a playground, and restaurants. The house was also well stocked with what we needed. It is located near the lobster fishing co-op which has early morning activity, but we loved watching the comings and goings. The property was clean, comfortable, and allowed us to relax and enjoy our time in Maine. We look forward to returning.

Port Clyde getaway
We had a very good two week stay at this cottage. Location is delightful and reasonably priced. I especially liked the downstairs tv room which was nicely sound isolated. I practiced on my tuba in the room while my wife was napping upstairs. I would enjoy having the downstairs seating facing the windows for the view. There were a couple of problems with the cabinet hardware that need solving but it is early in the season and we reported them.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider staying again in the future.

Great week
We loved the bright, sunny kitchen and sitting area, and the view of the harbor, activity always going on. The sounds of the lobster operation awakened us at dawn, so we learned to get to bed early. Comfy beds and bedding, upbeat attractive furniture and furnishings. The mud room entry is fantastic. Wish we had that at our home!

Another nice stay at Port Clyde
We, again, enjoyed staying in the Raspberry Lane cottage. As in the past, the house was clean and inviting. It was well-stocked and very comfortable to be in during our week in Maine.

Great rental for our family
Scenic location overlooking Port Clyde harbor, even prettier than photos show. Nicely decorated; lovely, newer furnishings; great beds; very clean. Fully stocked kitchen & utensils, lobster pot, soaps, linens, laundry & dishwasher detergents. Roomy for 5 adults. Bath and a half, laundry and 2 parking spaces worked perfectly for us. We cooked a lot, grilled and ate inside and out. Short walk to tiny town center. Responsive management.
The only negatives were not issues for us: bedroom with futons had no door; tv room has sofa only, no lounge chairs; fire pit belongs next door. Lobster co-op very close, but early morning noise wasn't bad and we enjoyed watching. Definitely would rent again and love Port Clyde!

Sunny, bright & beautiful property!
We spent a week here in July and loved the house and property! Very convenient to the general store, ferry & ice cream shop but not in town so no busy traffic. The house is sunny, bright, clean and has a ton of space in it if you want to find a quiet place to read your book. The backyard is large for a barbeque, relaxing or playing all the games that are supplied in the house. I would most certainly stay there again!

Great house. Clean, conveniently-located, well-outfitted, and tons of space!
We enjoyed the house very much. The space was very well-suited to any family or group, with plenty of eating, sleeping, and relaxing room. The management was responsive and eager to please. Email questions were answered immediately.
The co-op next door was noisy and had some strong, fishy smells at times, but it was also fun watching the action, and the view of the water and PC Harbor was great.
The house had a nice lawn and grill and was so close to town you could walk to the general store or to get an ice cream in minutes. The beach and lighthouse were both a short, easy bike ride away. Overall, it was a wonderful stay in a terrific house.

no place in the world like port clyde
property clean and comfortable...was missing hand soap, laundry detg, which would have been nice to have not to purchase. Only neg was noise from co-op,otherwise a most enjoyable experience
