It was awesome! This was our second year in this wonderful home! We plan to come back!!
4.7
We had a wonderful family vacation at this location. All the important amenities of this location were spot on. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. The air conditioning was working perfectly during the hottest week of the year. We spent a great deal of time on a lovely screened in porch. The views were breathtaking and the Blue Angels gave us quite a show on Wednesday. The elevated building gave us a chance to play Corn Hole in the rain! It's close to some fantastic beaches, and great restaurant. The interior design is fun and eclectic, but overall the property provides for a complete week of comfort and convenience.

This was in a perfect location for all that we planned to do! Pensacola beach to the east, Perdido Key/Flora bama to the west, and the Naval museum(Blue Angels) 3 min away! We stayed 1 week and enjoyed every day of it!

The home is a lovely unique family home right on the water! Plenty of sleeping available but we didn’t need it all. Although one bed in the upstair turret room would actually be unusable due to the window air conditioner being right over a twin bed. Burrr! Really nice antiques decor the home art work and antique metal kinetic pieces throughout. A fabulous screened-in porch we used every night! Only down side was when next door neighbors were there -their living room looked right in our sunroom. Would have been nice to have a shade on left side of sunroom for privacy. Since they opted not to close their blinds! Communication with owner could not have been better…I won’t go in to details but they were on top of an issue we experience, both in terms of rectifying the problem by having some one immediately come out as well as offering and then following through with a monetary compensation. Home is wonderfully stocked with all you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We would like to go back for a longer stay and pick a slightly warmer time period. We were there one week too early for the scheduled Blue Angel's weekly practices and the Saturday Palafox market! We had no issues getting around. Everything was basically just down the road. We explored lots! I would suggest grocery shopping at Publix over Winn Dixie…better selections. Check out McGuires Irish Pub for a fabulous meal! Do try the 18¢ Senator bean soup! Husband n I are prior retired Air Force so museum was fun!

We had a great stay and enjoyed our spring break as a family. Neighbors were a little loud at times overnight but nothing you could control...also noticed traffic around Blue Angels practices made it difficult to get to and from house at certain times on those days so we just needed to make sure to check traffic before going places. All things beyond control of homeowner; we enjoyed the house and kids had a great time playing in water.

Wonderful family time - 7 kids ages 10-22 and 2 parents. Great space, peaceful area, beautiful water view and access, great porch. Caught a fish, saw the Blue Angels -all around wonderful and relaxing. Hope to return.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very quiet and in a great location near Pensacola and the Naval Air Station with its awesome Naval Air Museum. Looking out over the water was beautiful. It's a family beach house not a luxury hotel which made it very quaint and fun. Would definitely stay there again.

The house and location couldn’t have been more perfect! The view was amazing, easy access to launch paddle boards right from the front yard, saw rays and tons of hermit crabs, plus everything you need to cook small and large family meals. Immaculately clean, comfy beds, and easy to follow directions for the week and a handy checklist for check out. Loved the decor throughout the house and that we could fully unpack using dressers and closets with hangars. It’s the little things. Didn’t want to leave. Stayed here to be close to our new Sailor who is going to school at NAS Pensacola. Can’t wait to come back!

Very nice and peaceful with plenty of space.

My five sisters and myself stayed last week to celebrate our birthdays and enjoy our time together. Our mother died 17 months ago and we have not been together since. It was a relaxing and we had the best time. Plenty of time to spread out and enjoy our time together. I won't forget this time and we loved the house. Thank you for allowing us to reconnect!

I could have stayed on that screened in porch forever! Such a great location! We had a family of 10, two couples and 6 kids. The rooms, beds and layout were perfect for us! The kitchen/great room area were also nice and spacious and made it easy to cook meals and recreate without being on top of each other. We had a little issue with keeping the house cool, but realized the second day that all of the doors between rooms needed to stay open to let the cool air flow better throughout. It made it much better. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could want. Great communication with the owner and even property manager. We will definitely go back!!

Our family loved the home! 10 of us came from WI to Pensacola for our Son's Army retirement. Many memories were made! So comfortable for a large family. We can't wait to stay again!

It was great

The home is warm and inviting, clean and comfortable, and conveniently located near the Naval Station including the lighthouse and museum. The view is amazing with the wind coming off the gorgeous water keeping it cool enough to sit on the porch and visit (or play on your phone) for hours at a time. It was lovely.

Had a great time at this property. Waterfront location and close to Johnson beach

We loved our stay and the kids loved it too!

Rhonda’s property worked perfect for our family of 10. The kids loved having their privacy upstairs and we all enjoyed the screened in porch each morning and night. We saw dolphins a few mornings as well! The house was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

We come to celebrate our last kid graduating high school, along with three of her friends our son and other daughter. The house was a perfect set up for that and we had such a wonderful time. We brought our poles, paddle board and kayaks and this was the perfect place to make use of them. The host gives a perfect description of the home, and communicates well about anything we needed or asked for. Thank you for a fantastic time

Rhonda is great to work with. The property is perfect, quiet area with easy access to everything, yards from sand. Great screened in deck to watch the world go by. We had a great time, just wish it were longer.
4.7
I chose this property for the size and location.

We rented this place to host a group for our church mission trip with Pensacola Habitat for Humanity. It exceeded all expectations! Great location, clean, and a host that was very easy to work with. We will definitely be staying here again for future mission trips.

Absolutely beautiful views of the water right out back of the house. The house is huge especially for just the two of us but we really enjoyed the room. The king size bed in main bedroom was very comfortable. This house is very unique with the upstairs being more for kids. It has 6 single beds going around the entire upstairs. This would definitely be a great rental home for a family with semi older kids who can give the kids their own space upstairs, while having space on main area for others.
We rented this house during a huge winter storm that swept across the country(go figure our luck). When we first arrived the home was very cold. We called the property manager who said he would try and get someone out to look at the heater that night but couldn't make any promises. I should mention this was Christmas Eve when we arrived. About 2 hours later we got a call saying someone was on their way. This was about 9pm on CHRISTMAS EVE. We couldn't believe they actually got someone to come out. The problem couldn't be fixed that night but Rhonda the property owner took care of us with a hotel room for the night. We completely understood with it being Christmas eve. We were told they would send out someone the next day if they could(Christmas Day) with the part needed. Turns out it had to be ordered. All in all Rhonda took great care of us and made up for the inconvenience of the 1st couple of nights were rented the house. One of the issues is Florida normally doesn't get as cold as it did and only was due to the massive winter storm that came across the country.
We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back in the future. One of the most relaxing places we have been in awhile.

From the moment you walked in you felt like home. The unique house had the charm and warmth welcoming you on vacation, from the amazing screened in back porch to the cute 6 bed kids room upstairs. This house had everything you could need and more. We enjoyed the sunsets where we could either swinging by the water or sit on the back deck snuggled in a blanket. The view is spectacular! The sandy beach in the front of the house kept my son busy, gave us a chance to hunt for finds and even let us launch the kayaks in the water, all from the house. Despite the weather and poor fishing (due to the weather), we had a great vacation. You are close to so much - tackle shops, Johnson beach, restaurants, grocery stores, the military naval base, and so much more. We would recommend Rhonda (the host) and this house! If you are looking for old world elegance and inviting spaces, a gorgeous view with everything around you close by, hosted by a great family. This is the place!

This property is amazing! It was very clean and beautifully decorated! It is a family home with many little details of the family’s history. The property is rustic and eclectic, not your average rental condo…way better! We will definitely stay here in the future!
Thanks, Suz

Fabulous! Another wonderful family trip to the lagoon! It’s the best. Great location and having the beach for the kids to hunt for hermit crabs any time they want is perfect. Keeps them busy. Until next year!

Very clean and inviting. Didn’t like the fact that the trip could not be canceled for any reason- such as most of family had covid and hurricane Ida came through our home state. Only half our our party actually attended due to the above. Some consideration would have been nice.
