This cozy cabin was perfect for a ski weekend with friends. We really enjoyed gathering by the stone fireplace after a couple long days out on the slopes.

The location is great, not ski on exactly because you have to walk a bit, but awesome still. Had some issues with cleanliness and smokiness from next door's fireplace use drifting in and also dealt with a broken lockbox and missing kitchen items (one spoon in kitchen!)
2.0
Yes, lots of room for improvement. There is actually virtually no silverware there. One spoon two nice and three forks. No salt and pepper.

Great location! Small walk to the trails but easy to get to! Definitely needed some improvements with the amount of sheets and cleanliness but other than that a great stay for an affordable rate!

Yes, it's dated. Don't expect modern. It's small. But we had a fantastic vacation there for a couple nights during school vacation. We made our plans late and were lucky this was still available because being able to ski in and out is pretty great. We made only coffee in the kitchen, and the stove is very old, but works.

Clran and do whag it needed, the kitchen stuff is antiquated but overall fine

Not enough kitchen supplies, not hot water, chimney didn’t work, not enough toilet paper not extra blankets or pillows for person sleeping on couch.

Space was cozy and up in the mountains…

The beds were terribly uncomfortable, they also had a strange smell. The dishes and pots/pans needed to be washed before use. It was also super cold and the fireplace was "out of order"!

Small place but works fine. Fireplace was out of order which was a bummer but pretty close to a trail for skiing over all not bad.

We loved the coziness of this unit and the location is almost perfect if you are a skier. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were as well. The unit was clean when we arrived so no complaints there.
There’s things you should know about this unit. 3 of the 4 pots for cooking are unusable if you care at all about your exposure to Teflon as these pots are all scraped up and unusable. Please bring your own. Also, there were two pot lids for 4 pots so we had to be creative. These are little things that impact your ability to cook food and be comfortable. They cookware and utensils need a facelift to make this place perfect. Other than this, we have nothing but praise for this small and cozy unit on trail side.

This apartment was very old, not updated in many years. The pictures on the website are nothing what the place looked like. It was a very dark dreary apartment with no sun what so ever able to come through the windows because of the deck above the apartment. I wouldn't stay here again even if it was free!

Safe & comfortable environment centrally located, easy access to interesting towns & shopping!

Property great location but needs interior renovations

Great location, but not quite walkable to ski slopes in early season. Dire need of updates for bath, kitchen, etc.

Clean and comfortable
Can't really ask for more than that. And walking distance to slopes as advertised. Would stay again.

Glorified frat house
I'll preface my review by saying I contacted Vacasa customer service about 5x regarding the condition of this property (with photos) and my overall displeasure before writing this review. We were not able to come to an equitable refund for my stay. I'm sure Vacasa will reply to this review and say something along the lines, "Sorry you weren't happy, " but it's nonsense. Honestly, the owner should be embarrassed, and Vacasa should push the owner to upgrade the unit.
If you are an adult who only wants a place to crash within walking distance of the slopes and doesn't care about condition of the inside, then this place is acceptable. However, if you are bringing children to ski/stay OR if you assume you will be getting more for your money a night (in winter $$$), then stay away. Let me recount all of the things with which we were dissatistied during our stay:
1) extra blankets for the pull out bed had crusty stains on them. The blankets were not neatly folded, nor did they smell "fresh", two more dead giveaways that the blankets were not all washed prior to our stay. Gross!
2) Main bed linens had holes and stains (comforters and bed skirt). Although they seemed clean (?? who knows!), you would think the owner could afford new bedding.
3) Upon preheating the oven for dinner the first night, we started to smell something. Turns out there was a thin piece of wood in the oven and it was smoking! This could have easily started a fire.
4) Silverware had food encrusted on it.
5) Stained, old filthy couch throw pillows. The two couches themselves were old and ratty and not clean looking. Hesitant to let my kids lay on them.
6) Wooden kitchen chairs were splitting, screws loose, paint chipped.
7) Photos on Vacasa depict the unit in a much better condition than actuality. All furniture is old and in need of a re-do.
8) Pots and pans haven't been replaced in years. Chipping teflon/exposed aluminum.
9) The fridge /dishwasher WERE new, but the cabinets, counter, flooring, stove, etc are all old. Kitchen shelves all bowing/warped. Selection of utensils, glasses, mugs, plates not good at all.
10) We checked out a night early becasuse I couldn't stand being in the property any more.
11) On checkout, lockbox wouldn't close despite all my might. I felt bad that I couldn't safely stow the key, but they need a new lockbox or digital lock would be easier.
This is the first negative experience I have ever had with any property from vacation rental sites. Buyer beware.

Solid location
This place was great. Plenty of room and very comfortable. Only 3 min walk to the trail to ski on and off from. Loved it.

Great Trailside stay
Family of four enjoyed a four night stay in the unit. The route to get to Sachem trail is a little tricky and required some scrambling down a small wooded hill (unless we missed as easier route). Plenty of firewood to use to warm up after a long day of skiing. Our only suggestion would be to replenish the inventory of kitchen utensils.

Location was great. There was mold in the bathroom and bedroom. We had a two year old with us so we were uncomfortable with that.

Smelly
Super smelly and musty … no airflow
So bad we just bailed after one night and didn’t go for the second paid for night

Weekend get away
We stayed here for the weekend. It was clean and exactly what we expected. We would book this unit again.

Don't bother, very dated and worn
Worn scratched furniture, broken curtain rods, missing cabinet knobs, entire place is very dated. Does not resemble what you see online.
Pros: clean bathroom, comfortable bed.

Dated little condo in a great location
This is the cheapest condo in the trailside area of Okemo, so keep that in mind. Its a basement unit and kinda has a basement feel, bunch of minor things were broken like shades, blinds, cabinets missing handles, carpet pulled up under a bed etc...clearly not been updated...ever. But it is the cheapest place to stay in trailside.

Great ski getaway
Had a great time for our long weekend. Very clean. Walkable to the slopes would definitely stay again.

The property was great, and we enjoyed the stay immensely. The check-in address provided by VRBO was INCORRECT, which created significant issues given we arrived late at night in the dark.

Nice but not as the pictures shows.
Nice place but quite dated. Picture of living room indicated an additional chair in the corner but not present. Short 2-3 minute walk uphill to access the slopes so that was convenient. Unit seemed smaller than the pictures suggest but we were comfortable. I wouldn’t recommend it for more than 2 adults and 2 kids. Space would be tight.

Comfortable and cozy on the mountain
Although the unit could use a bit of a facelift, this condo was warm, comfortable and the location and price were unbeatable. Everything worked well, the bed was comfortable and we made good use of the wood fireplace apres-ski. It was a short walk to Sachem trail and since we can't store boot bags in the lodge this year slope-side was key for us.

Good for a short stay
We stayed for 2 nights for a weekend away. Customer service was great, bathroom is updated, the place is set-up for winter so no outdoor seating was available and no place to dry your wet stuff but the pool area is great. Close enough to attractions at a right price.

Great location
We had a great stay here. The location is amazing and we really enjoyed the pool! The only downside was the freezer. I would like to have known that it was not a normal-size freezer before arriving. We had to throw away some food because it did not fit.

Great weekend getaway
We had an awesome time staying here, will definitely be back! Took us a little while to find the pool (across the street) but it was beautiful once we did! The drive up mountain road was breathtaking! Will definitely be back!

Cozy Spot
Clean, as advertised, and close to the slopes. 5 minute drive to the main lodge OR use the lift located about 400 meters down the road to access the westernmost trailes.

Good experience, location & would stay again! Only a few negative aspects...
This trailside community was an overall good experience. The condo was small & outdated but was clean and works perfectly for a low-key ski trip. You are able to walk to Sachem Trail from the door after about a 300-yard walk on the road... stairs from door to the road would have been SUPER HELPFUL for those that are wearing ski equipment but overall, the walk was not terrible. Bring your own pillow... beds & pillows were not amazing, but would stay here again for the price.

Nice and quiet
The place was nice. Small and clean and a relatively easy walk to Sachem trail (as long as the road isn’t icy). The parking lot is small, I don’t know how you would fit 2 cars per unit there but we went when it was quiet mid-week and were the only ones around so har no trouble but if it was busy we never would have been able to park our pickup (chevy 1500)

As Advertised
Great place, right on the mountain as advertised!

Nice
It’s a little bit outdated but nice and clean. Nothing to complain about at all.

Good no frills stay
Cons: unit not easy to find upon arrival, dated interior, no hairdryer, small, dark, slightly musty, no shuttles between condo and base lodge
Pros: affordable, easy access to trails, comfortable beds, clean, easy check-in/out
Good no frills place. Highly recommend 4 wheel drive or snow tires since access road is steep.

Quaint little space
Enjoyed our stay here!
The place was nice, a little outdated but nothing really to be concerned about since all we were really only there to sleep and get ready before hitting the slopes.
