Our bright, sunny and newly expanded 4 bedroom house is 2 blocks to the public beach, borders the West Chop Woods and sits on a quiet 1/2 acre lot. Walk to the beach, town or ferry! Unwind and enjoy the best of what the Vineyard has to offer. Our house has a new high-ceiling kitchen and den, house-length screened in porch, and 2 newly renovated bedrooms. There are two other bedrooms downstairs. Tons of separate sitting/chilling areas, amazing light and a haven for peace and happiness - the house is ideal for a family or two, or group of friends. We love our clean and welcoming home and hope you will too! Available for first time since 2021!

When you enter the light-filled main house, you’ll be greeted by a comfy living room with cozy alcoves perfect for reading or napping and an open dining room. The dining room has a lofted ceiling with a fireplace flanked by two bookshelves stocked with books and games. The new high-ceiling kitchen includes marble countertops, new stainless appliances and an island with seating for 5. The kitchen leads to a screened-in porch that extends along the back of the house with ample seating and a second dining table. Beyond the porch is a large private yard mature beds - perfect for whiffle ball, badminton or more! This house is great for entertaining!

The main house has 4 bedrooms, all with great light and with the two upstairs having high ceilings: Bedroom 1 (upstairs) has a king bed; Bedroom 2 (upstairs) has queen with a twin futon; Bedroom 3 (ground floor) has a king bed; and Bedroom 4 (ground floor) has twin beds and also houses the washer/dryer. Each bedroom includes sheets, comforters, blankets and pillows. There are 2 bathrooms - one on each floor and each with a skylight. There are four TV’s, one in the main living room, one in each king bedroom and one in the twin bedroom. Also - we can’t forget the large detatched outdoor shower - pure bliss!

Our house has a soothing front yard with a mature garden. It is set back from the street and offers parking for three cars. There are beach chairs and kids beach toys. The house has cable and Wifi.

What we love about the house:
* Being close enough to town to walk in 15 minutes but just far enough away to feel secluded from the hectic summer crowds.
* The house is set up so that your group can sit together or spread out -- with plenty of seating areas indoors or outdoors -- and enjoy the privacy.
* The feeling of privacy that comes with being on a large tree-filled lot while still getting lots of natural light in the house.
* Enjoying morning coffee on the back porch while listening to birds singing in the tall trees that surround the property.
* Large yard with plenty of space for entertaining or games of croquet or wiffle ball.
* Porch that is designed for entertaining or family dinners.

* Walking 2 blocks to Grove Street Beach and jumping in the Sound.
* The West Chop Woods trailhead is around the corner from the house.
* Walking to the West Chop lighthouse .8 miles away. There are sidewalks and beautiful views of the Sound and the Cape.
