The rental was nice and reasonably priced. Clean and generally well maintained. Might want to consider providing some additional pantry space for the kitchen in the hallway closet. Deck and bathroom could use some updating, but functional.Very close to the beach and fairly quiet. Last time we were in Hilton Head was 35 years ago. We’ll likely come back again, perhaps earlier in the season. Rental staff were very helpful and friendly.

Our family loves the Breakers location! The convenience to the beach is what reels us in and the restaurant selection with the stores is a bonus!
The room we had was suitable and did the job! Its located on the first floor right off the stairs (it was nice to have our vehicle parked close to us) There was plenty of space in bedroom, bathroom and living room/kitchen area. Our family used the pull out couch which was easy to use and put away everyday. We loved that there was a table that sat the 4 of us and that wasn't a hightop table! The view outside with the table and chair was a relaxing and our nightly hang out.
The only issue with the unit was the doors. Be prepared to have doors (bedroom/bathroom) that dont lock and are a budge with noise. If you have little ones that sleep through anything then you are fine! We loved our stay here and would consider booking this unit again!

Great location. Room is small, but that was expected from the listing and it was enough room for 2 adults and a toddler. I was dreading having to go to a separate location to check in after a full day of travel with a toddler, but check in was super quick and easy. I was also nervous after reading reviews that commented on issues sleeping because of light/noise, but this wasn’t an issue for us at all. Overall, we had a great stay and have actually already recommended this location to a friend!

Location was great and Sea Turtle Getaways has great customer service. They worked with us when we had to leave early unexpectedly. The unit though was old and worn out. It is not as nice as the pictures show. The owner could invest $2000 and make it really nice. The interior doors are so old the bathroom door would not fully close. The commode is so tiny it looks like it was made for a child. The light switches and plates are yellowed and grimy, I felt like I needed to wash my hands every time I touched the switches. The bathroom vanity and faucet were about 30 years old. The tiny coffee maker barely made enough to fill two coffee mugs. 3 new doors, new baseboard and door trim, new commode and vanity, changing out the outlets and switches would really make the unit more inviting and updated.

The unit was situated on the first floor with a view of the beach from the balcony. We booked a 4 night stay and enjoyed our stay and visit to Hilton Head.Pros:Central location downtown with an easy walk to stores, bars and restaurants.Beach was just a few hundred yards from the unit, easy access from the pool area.Unit was furnished with allThe basic amenities needed for a short stay. Easier and dryer in unit was a definite plus!Great time to visit without the over crowding that typically happens in the late Spring/summer time.Cons:Older building/unit that could use a refresh. The living room sofa bed was immense but I don’t recommend it for anyone with back problems as it wasn’t very supportive.We visited in March and sadly it wasn’t the warmest of weeks in HHI.

We have stayed in this rental previously; however it needs a little help. The patio chairs are too uncomfortable to sit on. There are only 2 teaspoons. The toilet plunger is sitting on a Walmart bag. Seriously? The shower curtain liner is too short so the floor always gets wet when used. Invest in a new liner, more silverware, a new plunger, and new patio chairs. The bed pillows are very uncomfortable. You make $45,000.00 a year on rental income, please put some back into this unit. The bathroom walls are filthy. Some deep cleaning needs done.

The property was adequate for our needs. The unit location not great. Very noisy both overhead and from outside. Location of bedroom was such that outside lighting came through window all night and could hear everyone coming up and down stairs and at the public park next door. View from balcony very nice and closeness to beach was very nice. Location of property in general was good as we were close enough to walk everywhere we wanted to go.

Bed had a big urine stain on it. No mattress pad either. This is a health issue and should be replaced. I reported it via email and in person and no response.
Bathroom is dated and needs to be refreshed. Paint was nice but very limited place to set your toiletries or hand your towels. With some simple changes like adding a shelf and more towel hooks, the stay would have been much nicer.
This is a very popular shopping and dining area across the street. If you like it crowded you enjoy it.
Silverware is pretty slim. Other items and essentials were there.
Nice den furniture. Took a while to learn what to do to make the TV work as it is on cable. I requested that the owner leave some simple instructions for subsequent guests.

My husband and I would stay at The Breakers again but not in Unit 109. It is located on the end of floor where outside stairs are so you hear all foot traffic. Also outside light is on all night and bedroom by the front door so light is coming in bedroom window. Even though there were blinds on window there was no curtain and light coming in was bright so we had to hook blanket on nails that were sticking out at top of window. We were constantly kicked out of the internet which was aggravating. Also, there wasn't anywhere to put our luggage except table chairs but there was a large closet in hall that had plenty of empty space in it that 2 fold able luggage racks in it would have been very helpful. Our backs don't allow us to bend to the floor to get in our luggage or we would have put them on closet floor.The place is very small which was sufficient for the two of us but couldn't have put luggage on the floor and still have walking room. So we had to eat sitting on couch because luggage was on table chairs.The staff was friendly and the location was convenient to stores and restaurants so yes we would recommend the Breakers to friends and family. We were only there 3 nights so we didn't go to any activites or attractions because we were there to get some much needed relaxation time. We did enjoy couple restaurants: The Skull Creek Boathouse was very good food and located on the water. We ate in their beautiful outdoor area and enjoyed live musician. We also liked San Miguel for some Mexican food and again beautiful location on water next to the yacht club.

We had a great time at sea turtle getaways. Me and my wife both enjoyed the convenience of everything there with coffee, shops, dinners, lunches, breakfast all around us and shopping. Check in was very easy and the condo was in a great location. Directly on the beach and across the street from numerous shops and restaurants. The view was great. Our only big complaint was the bed. It is extremely uncomfortable and every time someone rolls over the bed squeaks loudly.

The rental property has nice flooring and updated kitchen however could use a bit more kitchen furnishings. The bathroom is very old and outdated, needs to be upgraded and a good general cleaning. The bedroom needs window treatments to block the outdoor stair lighting as it hits right in your face while trying to sleep.

Great Vacation!
The unit was very clean and the realty company was extremely easy to work with during the process. We did have an issue with our door handle not working properly when we checked into the unit, but I called the realty company and they had someone out to the unit in less than 30 minutes to fix the issue. I was very impressed at how quickly they had the door fixed. The Breakers is right across from Coligny Plaza and the unit is beachfront, which gives great views from the balcony.

Cozy, clean, good amenities
A good little spot that was as described. Nice beach view, very convenient to shopping & numerous restaurants. The leasing company was great and allowed us to check in a little early. Clean and nicely decorated. I spent every morning in the comfortable deck chairs listening to the ocean, watching birds, drinking tea.
The only thing we didn't like about 109 (end unit on the first floor) was that our bedroom window was at the bottom of the stairs so there was a disturbing amount of noise from late night revelers returning home and early risers heading out. We had booked the end unit thinking it would be the quietest but in fact the opposite was true. Ear plugs were needed.
It was our first time at Hilton Head. Our favorite thing was the bike trails, and we rode all over the island. We'll be back!

Mini-moon getaway
We were last minute renters and the company was very accommodating. After calling them they made sure to get us all checked in and was very easy to get our keyes and information. Although the place was small it was perfect for our little honeymoon getaway. We loved how close it was to everything and we could walk everywhere which really helped bc parking was tight with a truck. The condo had the basics to get us started which was great. Talking with people who stayed there they say its the best condos to rent from we just wish we came a little earlier in the month so it wasn't as chilly at nights to enjoy the ocean more. Overall we would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent location!
We absolutely loved stayed at this property. We felt right in the middle of all the happenings on HHI! We felt very safe given the circumstances, and we will certainly look to this property to stay again! The only, very minor, complaint I had was how dirty the floors were! I know this is hard to keep clean being 10 feet off the beach, but whew! We had some dirty feet from the get go.
That was a very minor “issue” if you could even call it that. We hope to be back and very soon!

After several years of renting in the same location our landlord sold their unit!! What were we to do?? Having friends in life is so key to success on every level, I reached out to my dear friend to inquire about her fathers condos!!! We got together over the phone and she hooked us up with the rental agent, Turtle Getaways. From there we decided on the 1bedroom unit at the Breakers. Upon check in we were told that we might be able to get in a little earlier than the 4:00 check in..from there we were pleasantly surprised and happy with our selection. There were just 2 items that we brought to the attention of Turtle Getaway, a cracked tile on the floor and the freezer making a “straining” noise every so often. This eventually subsided all in its own or possibly after we turned on the Ice Maker?!? Who knows. The view of the ocean on a daily basis was a deal maker!! One other issue outside of the unit was the pool area! This definitely needs better attention. Garbage cans were overflowing and way too many pool “toys” were left in and around the pool area from people unknown!?? These items seemed to multiply from day to day u til one day, someone must have finally tossed them. We loved the closeness to all of the amenities...the pool, the ocean and the Coligny Circle venues!!! I’m sure that we will be repeating our visits.

Good location. Easy beach access.
This villa is centrally located with walkable access to good restaurants and shopping. Having a washer and dryer ended up being a nice feature. However, this property seems older. The floors creak whenever anybody moves around. We wondered if the people in the villa above us were going to fall through the ceiling. We could also hear the conversations in surroundings units. This ended up being a minor issue due to the good location.
