I have been going to Hilton Head since I was a child and have stayed all over the island. This was my first time staying outside of Sea Pines gate. I wanted to be walkable to Coligny restaurants and shops as well as be beachfront so the Breakers seemed perfect. First know the security there is a joke. There is only someone actually working 2-3 hours a day- many days I never saw anyone. This meant the general public using our parking to access the beach. Evidently people just share the beach gate code with everyone and they never change it. While I was there several local law enforcement officers and their WHOLE families were there to use the pool and beach access and simply packed up their cars and left at the end of the day. Once I was at the beach gate and several locals called the guard and asked to be buzzed in to go

Our rental was clean and in the perfect location to everything! My little kids slept comfortably in the bunk beds and they provided us with beach chairs, koozies and popcorn (my kids LOVED that). Everything was very clean and we were able to do laundry and wash dishes no problem with them providing soap for both. Highly recommend.

We booked this property specifically to be next to Coligny beach/plaza. It was perfect! Only had to drive to go to a few dinners we had planned. Walk to the beach was short. Apartment was clean, in unit laundry was very useful, and the view from the balcony was awesome any time of day. We will definitely stay here again on our next HHI trip.

The rooms had all we needed - easy to manage, clean, comfortable. Good view if the ocean and sheltered from wind. It seemed to be well insulated because noise was minimal from within the unit. Great place to stay for two. As the title says the location is great. On one side of the street you have your condo and beach and on the other side there's coligny plaza, which is filled with shops and restaurants. We were very happy with our decision to stay here. We had a very easy check in and anytime I had a question the rental company replied quickly. The rental was clean and had everything we needed. The location couldn't have been better. I never had to drive anywhere. Great restaurants and even a grocery store was in walking distance. Lots of shopping too.The only issue we had was that the sink drained slowly in the bathroom and the dryer made a terrible noise. Overall we had a great experience and will definitely stay here again!

This unit was in a great location not only in proximity to the beach but also within the complex. Check in and departure were seamless. I messaged the property mgr regarding the fact that we were missing a beach towel and they delivered one promptly.
Cons of this unit: no closet, limited towel rack, only two drawers available for clothes. It was a tight squeeze for our family of four (two young teens). Also, the beds were not great and the dryer seemed to be on its last leg.
All in all we would definitely rent from host2coast again, and I do recommend this property!

An enjoyable stay on the ocean
We absolutely enjoyed our stay! With an amazing balcony view of the ocean and just steps to the beach, we could hardly ask for more!
The property was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen area provided the basic essentials, which was more than enough to get us by (especially considering that we enjoyed many meals at the local food joints as well)
My only "complaint", is that despite the elevator being advertised as working for 2022, it was out of order for the duration of our stay. We certainly got alot of exercise going up and down those stairs!
All in all, it was a truly excellent stay, and it will absolutely not be our last visit! Thank you for a wonderful and memorable week!

Not the greatest
I didn’t expect to have to clean on my vacation. But after five minutes of my 11 month old crawling around he had black feet and knees so I definitely had to go to Piggly Wiggly and grab a Swiffer and some disinfecting wipes. The floor was filthy, dishes in the dishwasher were not clean, the bathroom was a nightmare (possible mold on the ceiling around the vent), and there were food crumbs and water bottles on the balcony when we arrived. The washer and dryer malfunctioned (serviceman came the day we checked out and confirmed the dryer needed replaced). Elevator is being rebuilt so trekking up to the third floor isn’t easy. Plus they don’t give you any extra trash bags, just 1 for the week. Not a deal breaker, but combined with everything else, it was a less than desirable vacation spot and we will not be returning to this particular unit.
Proximity to the beach was about all it had going for it. Would not recommend.

Crumbs/ Dirty- Not my kind of place
When we got to our room, the first thing we did was go sit down on the couch. We noticed crumbs all on the floor. It was okay that the condo was outdated but not being clean is not ok. We went to pull out the sofa bed (couch) and there were crumbs all over the mattress pad. Ended up removing the mattress pad because it was gross. We would have just slept together in the master bed (it stated new memory foam mattress) the mattress was as hard as a board. I've never felt a mattress that hard. Anyway the bathroom had hair on the wall (not ours) and the trim was nasty. Place needs a good thorough cleaning and some paint. I would not stay there again. My daughter cleans condos in Hilton Head, and she checked reviews for rental property that manages here and they were all bad as far as cleanliness. I suggest a new cleaning crew.
