Centrally located in the Village of Lake Leelanau, our cozy, air conditioned home offers you 2 bedrooms (king size bed in one, queen size bed in the other) and an air pillow sofa bed for up to 6 guests at a time. You will love the tiled bathroom, open kitchen area with garbage disposal and dishwasher, and having laundry facilities. The main living area offers a 55" smart HDTV, Charter internet, and floor to ceiling bookcases filled with books, DVDs and CDs. Great communication from owners, Jenny was very thorough at check in and cherry pie was awesome!! Great place to stay, very clean and everything that you could possibly need was there! We enjoyed the backyard patio, the big screen tv in the evening and the comfortable king size bed at night. Centrally located to many area attractions. Highly recommend!! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our long weekend in Leelanau. The home was well equipped, cozy, and inviting. So many extras - apple pie and ice cream upon our arrival, a milkshake machine, beautiful private patio space, comfortable bed and furniture, a short walk to local restaurants, and centrally located to everything the peninsula has to offer. Highly recommend!!!!

A very comfortable home, well supplied for visitors. It felt like being at home to be there. Owners and greeters were easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had. It was a pleasure to be staying in a space that has all the comforts of home and was good to return to after a day outdoors walking in the woods. We plan to return.

We stayed one week. Conveniently located to Lake Leelanau area attractions. House is well stocked with essential household, cleaning and cooking items. All furniture comfortable and cozy. Very clean. We enjoyed outoor gas grill and backyard sitting area including fire pit. Highly recommend.

This was a great rental which looks bigger and better than the photos make it look. Every convenience has been considered and provided including 2 types of coffee, shampoo, conditioner, spices, etc. It also has a nice patio with dining table, chairs and a grill. Well.situated for easy drives to some of northern Michigans best spots! Highly recommend.

This home is extremely well appointed. We have stayed in quite a few Vrbo properties and this was, by far, the most well stocked one we have ever stayed in. Not only do they have everything you could want they encourage you to use whatever you need to make your stay comfortable. In addition, it was very clean and provided all the information you needed to work everything in the home.

Went for a wedding at Black Star Farms. Perfect location for tons of activities. As for the the accommodations, they couldn't have been any more perfect. The amenities available to you are overwhelming. We where greeted as we showed up and everything from there was flawless. We also loved that they allowed our dogs. Our family is definitely looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

I was staying at the house for a family reunion, was not there much. It was very clean. The bidet was not used but made noises @ various times. Kind of a nuisance. Otherwise it was what I needed.

Jim and Carol Lynn were excellent with communication and extremely welcoming. It’s in a great location centrally located to towns, lakes, and beaches nearby. I especially enjoyed the comfortable bed, coffee, and nature inspired artwork.

We have been going to this area (Traverse City) for 6 years now, this was the best rental we stayed in. Quiet, comfortable just like home, easy access to restaurants and things to do.
The owners were there when we arrived and explained everything to us to make our stay enjoyable. There was a cherry pie and ice cream waiting for us when we arrived.
The beds were very comfortable. Well stocked frig.
No complaints what so ever!
We will be staying here again!

"The Sand House"
We rented the house for the last week of June. My 2 toddlers and partner has a wonderful time. Comfortable beds, some books and toys for the kidos. Everything you need to cook meals for the family. My son named it "The Sand House" during the trip probably because of our daily visits to Sleeping Bear National Lake shore. Highly recommend for a lovely vacation rental.

This was a wonderful experience. Jim and Carol provided so many nice touches such as their extensive reading library and informational literature regarding the local area. Everything needed for a fun and relaxing experience was provided including an excellent audio/video entertainment center, and fully equipped kitchen. Our stay was a very nice experience for my wife and myself.
