This is a wonderful house, so comfortable with everything you need for a great stay! Very clean and so quiet! Loved hearing the river at night with the windows open. Redstone is a quaint little town and everyone was very friendly. We enjoyed fishing the river and exploring the area. Bob was a very knowledgeable and generous host! We hope to return someday soon!

This was a delightful place to stay. Bob made us feel very comfortable from the get-go. He is a great resource for things to do in the area since he has lived here for decades. This would be a place I would love to return to. The house is cute and clean with beautiful morning light. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking gear. You can’t go wrong here. 5 stars!!!!

We had a really nice time at the Icehouse! It's a lovely property sitting on Redstone's main street (probably the only one), close to excellent dining, artsy and fun shops, and a general store. The house itself is adorable, very cozy, and sits on the banks of the Crystal River. There's so much to do around the area, especially if you enjoy hiking and sightseeing. Don't miss Slow Grooving BBQ in Marble, Propaganda Pie, and Redstone Inn for dining. The owners of the Icehouse are super friendly and willing to share information about the area. I highly recommend and hope to be back.

We did not get to spend NEARLY enough time in this beautiful home. (We were busy getting married nearby at the Redstone Inn) The home is everything I had hoped it would be - and more. Comfortable king bed upstairs with a balcony and windows/screened door opening up to the Crystal River. Beautifully done kitchen, large gorgeous full bath downstairs and a very convenient smaller second bath upstairs in the bedroom. A large backyard that overlooks the Crystal River - we thoroughly enjoyed the adirondack chairs by the river where we would have our morning coffee and took as many meals on the picnic table as we could. The homeowners are some of the nicest people we have ever met - we are truly thankful for their hospitality and kindness and this piece of paradise in Redstone.

This little cabin was AWESOME. Filled with historical bits and pieces, clean, and well-appointed. The owner is an incredibly nice person, and the neighbor (who owns the Mercantile next door) was super cool and very helpful. Redstone is quite possibly the coolest town in Colorado, but don’t tell a soul about it! Keep the secret!!!

We had the best time during our stay at the historic ice house! Bob was very helpful and everything went seamlessly. The house is great for a couple or small family. We were able to cook our own meals or venture out into Redstone or nearby Carbondale to try some local Restaurants. We especially enjoyed the pizza place down the street. Lots of great hiking in walking distance and overall a great location. Thanks for having us!

A renovated historic building - former ice house - this riverfront property has a beautiful view of the river, mountains and Redstone's coke ovens. Right on The Avenue, it's also just across the street from the Redstone Inn. It's a cozy spot especially suitable for 2 people but can accommodate 4.

The Ice house is a really nice rental property in downtown Redstone! The house is very comfortable and the view out the back is amazing. Redstone is such a unique place, we love it and the Ice house!

This was our second stay at the Ice House and it was perfect. Redstone is one of our favorite places in Colorado and the Ice House is the perfect location to enjoy the town. It's not fancy, but we love the rustic and historic ambiance and the river frontage is awesome. Bob and Deb are great - we had a small problem with the plumbing and Bob was there in 15 minutes! Would definitely recommend the Ice House for a couple or small family looking for a cute place to stay in Redstone.

Charming. Great place to stay and take in Fall colors.

This is our second stay at Redstone and the Ice House. The property is convenient to Rocky Mountain activities -- jeeping, fishing, biking -- or just relax in the backyard on the Crystal River and soak in the gorgeous view. This trip we enjoyed Detroit-style pizza from the down-street Propaganda Pizza. The same folks own Slow-Groovin BBQ in Snowmass and Marble, and both the BBQ and pizza are top class. The house and property are as described -- very comfortable with million-dollar views from every window. Sometimes we relaxed at the picnic table in the back and watched the Crystal River; other times we hung out on the front patio and enjoyed the view of the mountains and visitors strolling down Redstone Boulevard. A beautiful, beautiful property.

Redstone is one of the prettiest and most peaceful little towns in Colorado! We had a fabulous time and Debbie and Bob were the best host and hostess! The Ice House is adorable with very nice furnishings. The fact it's located right on the Crystal River is amazing! What a gorgeous view of the river, Mount Casa, and even the coke ovens from your backyard balconies! Truly a one of a kind getaway! :)

Such a beautiful, peaceful place to spend a few days. The river in the backyard was so pretty and relaxing and the location is idillic. Bob was so welcoming and helpful. We had a wonderful time and will be back!

Redstone is a bit if a hidden gem off of the beaten path between the busier tourist locations of Glenwood and Aspen. This cottage is right in town just a short walk to the lodge. It is quaint and unique with some local historical significance. The river is right off the backyard so the view is wonderful. We couldn’t have found a better place to stay.

I had a great time here. Nice location, comfortable accommodation, and friendly town. I was here to fish the local rivers and wasn't disappointed.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Ice House. We saw a bear and a fox which was unusual. We were able to kick back and relax which is always the objective of visiting Redstone. We plan on future visits.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage and loved the sound of the Crystal river rushing outside the door. It was a neat spot for our boys to explore fishing. He house is close to other properties and the internet and cell service are spotty but not problematic if you’re hoping to disconnect a bit. We definitely recommend!
