Amazing place to be. Historic building very well maintained and preserved. Delicious breakfast available at the restaurant owned by the hotel for purchase. Overall ambience was great. Would love to visit again.

Rooms were very small. Decorated tastefully in period style. Hotel had no elevator and rooms had no air conditioning. It cooled in the August evenings and we opened the windows. But outside wrap around porch prevented breeze from getting in. It was very hot for sleeping.

Very nice place, can just imagine it 50 years ago. No AC, room stays warm until 10:30 or later in August.

We could hear the whole conversation from the room next door. Our room is next to the stairs. People were running up and down, we couldn't sleep.
We had a great breakfast but noticed other tables were not charged for coffee, but we were. It was not a big deal and we planed to pay but wonder why others did not have to pay but we did. What was the difference?

Have been staying here for over 60 years and will be back again,God willing!!! You have to accept the fact that the place is old and as such it has its limitations. Water pressure is low, some rooms are quite small, the lighting is terrible for reading ( bring a headlamp ) cell and Wi-Fi is spotty at best. That being said, the charm, the history and the beautiful location make up for everything! The veranda on the second floor is a wonderful place to sit with a drink and enjoy the view of the town. The pool and hot tub are clean and nice and the outside eating area is delightful! Food is a little on the expensive side but excellent. What more can we say, other than it is one of our favorite places!

Well maintained historical inn with good food and outdoor areas to enjoy. Rooms are updated but small. Bed was comfortable and bathroom adequate. Nice small community along the river.

I loved the historical vintage vibe of this place, slow and peaceful. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub, wish we would have brought our pickle ball equipment to use on the old tennis court. Had some good take-out from the bar and grill. Staff was friendly and helpful. Love walking main street to visit the shops and see the beautiful flowers and Crystal River. It smells so good here, too.

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay as we passed through the Redstone area. Redstone is really cool place. It is Historic so the room's were small but well kept, food was good, and we enjoyed the pool while waiting for our room to be ready.

The little area around Redrock Inn very unique. Great to sit by the river & enjoy nature or head up the mountains for a day. Property a definite “throwback”. Would be nice to have curtain over door window to keep out early AM sun 😅

Really enjoyed the history of the Redstone Inn. Our room was very nice in the front of the hotel. The entire hotel was very, very clean.
Food and service were excellent in the casual dining area. (Main dining room was not yet open for the season.).
I would recommend it to people who enjoy historic hotels.

Came into Carbondale for work and brought my husband. I’ve stayed here before and it’s a great place! Beautiful Inn, comfortable rooms, great restaurant and the staff is the Best! Leslie in the bar and Becca at the front desk made our stay! They went out of their way to make us feel welcome! I hope we see them next time. Cheri is also great! Friendly, helpful and always nice. The town is so cute and the locals are so friendly. We will be back.

Quiet and out of the way location. The hotel is showing her age. The room was on the small side with just enough space for the queen bed, one night stand and a single chair (dining table sized chair). The bathroom would only accommodate one person at a time. This could have been from our last minute trip change and late reservation and the only room left available. The food at the hotel's restaurant was very good and large portions. We didn't know that there was another restaurant in Redstone until the following day. Unfortunately we arrived in the early evening and not much was open in the little town just down from the hotel and we left after breakfast the next morning. We'd recommend getting a larger room and taking some time to walk the town for future visitors if you plan to stay longer. We found the general store and other restaurant as we were leaving. It was a pleasant experience after a stressful day of driving from Durango.
