It was perfect. Pictures are very much accurate. The only down side for us was a slope in land going to water. Brought my dad for a fishing trip. However with great neighbors and directions we were able to fine a great safe spot. ( he struggles with walking). The home is spacious and really decorated beautifully. Had everything we needed When we got there the pod coffee pot didn’t work and by next morning there was one delivered The area is wonderful. Easy walk to everything you need or want to do We are already planning next trip

Love renting from Joe and Renee! We have for a few years now and they are always great to deal with. Cottage is great and the garage is perfect for hanging out together.
We look forward to it every year!!!

We stayed last year on the north side of the lake. Great but had to drive a lot. This house could not be better located. It is on the water (marina) and away from the noise of main street. An easy walk into town - we never used the car except to leave SB. The garage is awesome place to hang although with a five year old less useful than if it was being used by teens. Taught the grandkid to ride a bike with one from the garage - a nice long driveway for that. Between walking into town, a complete kitchen and laundry and all the bikes games and things to do it was the best place I can imagine staying in SB. Thanks so mu8ch for the thoughtful layout and upgrades.

Plenty of room for the six of us. A short walk to town. The rental included a dock and boat area, which was a nice perk. Quiet at night. It was great that we were able to bring our dog.

The property was beautiful, right on the canal with backyard view of the water and boats. The beach is about 2 blocks away, a quick 5-10 minute walk. Restaurants and ice cream stands within walking distance as well. We took advantage of the bikes the owner had at the property (they are a bit older and needed some air pumped into the tires but they worked well enough!) and rode about a 3 mile ride to a taphouse (Lake Oneida Brew Haus). It was a beautiful bike ride through the autumn leaves. Some restaurants were closed in town due to off-season but we preferred this as the town was not as saturated with tourists. The garage adds a nice hang out space as well with couches, a fridge, a dart board, bathroom, cornhole sets, and life size jenga. There was plenty to keep us occupied during the stay. We had 5 people and comfortably slept this number + more. There are 2 bedrooms - one with a door, one with a staircase leading into the room. There is a sun room with doors to separate from living room that one friend used as a bedroom (2 couches) and a large living room with a sectional sofa. Kitchen had all necessities for cooking and we cooked most meals in. The firepit was a nice addition as well. Kim was extremely responsive and helpful, giving a lot of pointers on nearby attractions to visit. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

This is a nice, semi private location close to everthing. We took advantage of the free use of the kayaks, and bikes. Easy bike ride around town.We also brought our fishing poles and got lucky fishing off the dock. The fire pit was great for nighttime. We celebrated my sisters birthday on sat with great food from restaurants in town. The garage was used as extra space for playing cards. we enjoyed the camp. Thank you Kim

we cannot say enough good about the property. very clean house and grounds. Modern (well stocked) kitchen and appliances, great shower and bathroom. Such a quaint upstairs room with the spiral staircase accessing it. there were two separate living rooms, so there is plenty of room for a large get together. You also get the use of the garage, which serves as an outdoor living space complete with its own couches, bathroom, washer and dryer, games and a refrigerator. The lawn is quite good sized for a village lot, with plenty of room to park many vehicles and even your boat trailer. Its located in a quiet neighborhood a quick and easy walk to the beach and restaurants. It is right on the canal, so it would be perfect if you had a boat too.

Great stay. No lack of activities, and having the garage is a huge bonus. Will be staying there again!

We had a great time at Dick's Beach Bungalow. It had plenty of room for our needs and was located within a few blocks of the lake, restaurants and night clubs. The owner was so helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, we were only there for the weekend, but we would loved to have stayed a little longer.

Owners were great, we didn't ask but they emailed us to let us know we could arrive early and we did. They emailed offen which was very helpful and good communication. Pet friendly, we have a large dog that loves to boat as much as we do. Nice location, easy to access everything we needed in town. We docked our boat in the channel right out the back door of the home. Lake is beautiful, town was laid back, just what we were looking for. We stayed Monday and Tuesday to avoid the weekend and we think we hit a homerun. Small crowds, very few boats on the lake, great food at the Crazy Clam. We actually took a nap between morning and afternoon fishing trips. We can't remember the last time we did that in our nonstop lives. Loved it and will beg to get back there.

The property was nice we used the club house every day for family get together.
Close to your neighbors.
All the beds where uncomfortable I woke up every day with a neck ache and my guest did too and there where only two extra blankets and the nights got cold.
There was no scissors in the cottage and no cutting broad there was one big one It had groves in it made it a pain to cut anything on it. Toilet paper was very thin. And the electric plug in bathroom didn’t work couldn’t plug in blow dryer all the girls had to use the bedroom I was staying in to blow dry their hair.

We stayed at the property to attend our eldest Sons Wedding. Our other children and grandchildren stayed with us total of (6) Adults & (6) Grandchildren we were very comfortable, plenty of room for everyone. Absolutely Beautiful grounds right on Lake Oneida! Kids played in the yard & we walked to all the attractions & shops in town (5) minute walk to the Pancake house! We are so appreciative of the Owners concern with our stay, Kim was sure we didn’t have any issues :). Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, from Mike & Tammy Bennett

Unfortunately we only stayed a couple of days and didn’t get to really appreciate this great place to unwind! There’s lots of room to spread out and just before left we discovered the garage is a great man cave with a bathroom. We could have used the bathroom, but oh well we managed. Our mistake, it did say 1 and 1/2 bathrooms we just couldn’t find it. Anyway I digress, this is a nice area with a few very good places to eat! The pancake house was great, the spaghetti factory surprisingly really good! Oh and if you have a boat bring it, the dock is right in back of the house. We can’t wait to go back and actually have a vacation there!!
