Close to the beach, friendly cats roaming the hotel
Upon check in, the hotel didn’t have our booking. Eventually found a room for us, although it was a room with two single beds and they charged us for a double. Went to reception to rectify this, after being told they had no other rooms, they found us one. The next day they made up some swans and ‘Happy Anniversary’ on the bed which was lovely, but was confused by this as they told us they didn’t have our booking.. (I wrote a note to the hotel when booking that it was our anniversary.) So not sure what happened there..
Rooms are very, very average. Beds are standard SE Asian beds, basically concrete. Shower kept turning the power off so every night we had to go down to reception to get them to turn it back on for us. Our room was right in front of the village so was very noisy and there were Roosters in the house behind us. Breakfast is not good, we got there around 9:30am the first day and most of the food was gone, so we went earlier the next day and was the same.. I don’t think they replenish at all. Staff are nice - very little English which makes it hard to communicate so make sure to brush up on your Thai! :-)

Siisti ja rauhallinen ranta. Alueen yleisilme siisti.

The value is good. The bungalows we were in had renovated bathrooms. The room clean and comfortable. Location of resort is right at the beach, from bungalow usually 1 min walk to sea.

The location. The beach was less than a minute from your doorstep. The water was clear and beautiful.
The breakfast was cold.

Location, 80s vibe resort
80s style resort. Not for everyone

I understand that they were renovating but they should've started a bit later with work. Not at 7 am while the customers sleep there on holidays...
The staffs are nice and friendly

Beach
Absolutely Filthy
Room floor not even swept let alone mopped before our arrival, room hadn't been cleaned with cloth either, broken toilet seat.
Staff rude and couldn't care less
Breakfast, cold coffee, cold food, unwashed crockery and cutlery.
Coffee spillage on floor in restaurant on day one still there day three and probably still today
Restaurant and bar not open beyond breakfast, probably due to lack of customers wanting to pay extra
Tables and chairs filthy in restaurants and on our balcony with animal faeces everywhere.
The 'Instagram areas' are a facade and not a true reflection of rest of property
Images on booking site (apart from recently decorated rooms) are probably 10 years out of date, rooms not been cleaned/maintained since that decoration.
Atmosphere around resort is really bad, no one smiling, especially Westerners.
Pool, although netted for leaves is dirty, not used by anyone in our three day stay.
Avoid a miserable overpriced holiday by going elsewhere

We were very skeptical about booking this property due to the mixed reviews. turns out that we had nothing to worry about. The beach is beautiful, and the location is amazing. At night local boys from the village come around for a donation-based fireworks show. Just remember you can book a ferry directly to the resort. So, make sure you ask them about the same. Book without hesitation, its value for money.
They should add more descriptions, details about activities, and info on how to book a ferry to the resort.

The beach area was really nice. We enjoyed the view and the surrounding. The hotel is just hard to find and our room was a little far to walk to the beach but it’s ok anyway. Thanks Malibu!

Staff are very nice, giving more than what we expected.
The bathrooms are nice and clean, beds are moderate.
The place itself is relaxing as it is nearby the beach and just few steps outside the resort there are few local restaurants that serve fair price local delicacies.
Locating the resort is very hard. As there are no signs indicated in English.
It is like hidden gem that you need to find. The passage to the resort is too narrow, but once you pass view is nice and relaxed.
Better if they could put more signs way to resort and also in English for foreign visitors.
